I…read morewas informed by Current Electric they consider generators not running as a top priority, so a certified technician responded to my house within a few days. Devin was the certified technician who responded on time. He was professional, highly trained/qualified on Generac generators and even thoroughly explained what service was being performed to get my generator running again. He even offered me to purchase a spare part that was known to fail on Generac generators. What stands out the most about Devin is that he noticed my electric meter was not mounted to my house correctly. He inspected my meter and determined it was an immediate fire hazard. He again, explained the seriousness of the issue and that NIPSCO needed to be contacted immediately so they could address the matter. I called NIPSCO and a technician responded within 30 minutes. I was informed the electrical meter was a serious fire hazard. NIPSCO repaired my meter within 12 hours. Devin could have easily overlooked my electric meter or neglected to tell me about the issue. Instead, he felt the dire need to address such an important issue with me that was not work related to him. My generator would not be running if not for Current Electric and Devin. Current Electric is fortunate to have a dedicated, highly trained/qualified and professional employee like Devin. More importantly, he prevented the likelihood of my electric meter and house catching fire in the near future. He certainly went above and beyond in my opinion. Lastly, the price for service that Current Electric charges is very reasonable. I honestly expected to pay more for the service. Current Electric and Devin are committed to high quality customer service which seems harder to find these days. I will certainly contact Current Electric and request Devin for any future service calls! Twice this summer our whole house generac generator has stopped working during power outages. They…read moreprove no emergency service to customers without power. Currently our power is out and our generator died on saturday. Called monday morning and the lady yelled at me that they don't know when they can get to me and it's not their fault the generator isn't working. They only service them and I can't expect it to run during an outage of a few days. What is the point then, since that is when I need it most. They then told me they had 150 down generators ahead of me to look at. Why would 150 generators be dead if they were selling and services a good product?

I went to Genius Phone Repair today to see about having the charging port repaired on my…read moresmartphone. The gentleman at the store told me that they could repair it, but that there was no need since it was capable of wireless charging. I had completely forgotten that it was an option for the model of phone I had. He put it on a wireless charger and confirmed that it would charge and power up. I appreciated his honesty so much that I offered to buy a wireless charger there and this time he told me that he didn't have the charger model that worked best with my phone and recommended that I buy it at Best Buy. I sincerely appreciate that he didn't make me pay for an unnecessary repair or sell me the wrong charger.

When he was done, he tested everything to make sure all of our manual and electronic locks were working and cleaned up any mess. As I was walking out, I realized the bottom of the screen didn't work correctly, so I went back. They apologized and replaced the screen and added a screen protector for free in about 7 minutes. Rebecca and Rashid were super easy to work with, kind and great examples of quality customer service. Rashid told me this is the third location he's had. First was a kiosk in 2006, then store 1 was in 2011 (still in the mall), followed by this store in 2016. With service like this, I expect them to stay around for a long time!

Was quoted $320 for an iPad Pro 12.9 screen. No screens were in stock. When I came back the…read morefollowing week, they only had a "premium" screen for $380, a more than 18% up charge. This premium screen is the worst tablet screen I've ever had. It takes longer to clean the fingerprints off of it. It's more reflective, so it's harder to see with bright lights above. It doesn't get as bright, so it's harder to see when sitting outdoors even in the full shade. The color tint is cooler than normal, so whites look bluer. The edges of a full white screen have a slight purple cast. A block of white next to block of black sometimes has a slight red cast. Colors sometimes shift when moving, e.g. white on black text can look bluish or greenish while scrolling. Sometimes when scrolling there's a weird flicker in parts of the screen. The brightness is not consistent around the middle point -- there's a glitch around the middle setting where setting the screen brighter makes it dimmer and vice versa. This can make the screen unexpectedly flash when auto-brightness is enabled. There are several places where touching the screen or holding it on the back causes dark spots to appear. If I knew the screen was going to be this bad, I would've bought a screen protector for my cracked screen or bought a new iPad. The lowest end iPad would've had a smaller, but much better screen at a lower price. There is nothing premium about this screen other than the price.
