I was in on the list signed in before another guy and waited patiently well he come up said that I was next but wanted to take care of another person instead of me which when the guy came in, he stated that he wants to pay for a bill and the guy pointed to the kiosk that he could use and he said no it's a business account that I need to pay on. So apparently just because that guy has a business account that pushes him above me even though I was waiting before the guy and also I'm in there for the same service of paying a bill I find that very unprofessional and I would not me personally I'm not going to come back here to do business with them. Don't believe them when they say taxes are included. They lie. The welcome plan was supposed to be $30 a month with autopay but with taxes and surcharges it is $37.20 a month. That is 49% higher than I was paying with Cricket and I don't see any improvement in service. The bill is especially hard to understand. read more

We stood in the line and waited an additional 20 minutes for the employee to finish helping someone else. Once he finished, he made a beeline from behind the desk straight to another pair that had walked in just a few minutes before. We had a great experience here. We came in frustrated because we had trouble with visible by verizon, a 3rd party service, when trying to switch carriers on my wife's phone. We came in with low expectations but there were several really nice guys right at the door who greeted us and got to helping us right away. We asked about options other than visible and ended up getting to upgrade my wife's phone and set up a new plan for her within just a few minutes. I had lots of questions but Chris who helped us gave me every option and laid it out for us to choose, no BS. It was a great overall experience and we are happy we came to this location! read more

Steve was extremely helpful during my last visit. He was able to reduce my bill, as well as increase my data. This location is clean, organize, and comfortable. Everyone I have dealt with so far has been polite, and professional. Because it is such a good location, it does get busy, and it does get crowded. I recommend going just after they open, if you can. If you can't, just be patient. Be sure to get in the queue. Generally, they move through people fairly quickly. read more

Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because previous experience at this store was fine. I came in with an iPhone that wasn't turning on or charging, the associate wouldn't even look at the phone (as they have done previously for me and fixed right away, something as simple as resetting it for me) and right away just handed me a brochure and instructed me to file an insurance claim. I asked if upgrading would be cheaper than the $150 to file the claim and he said no, upgrading wouldn't be cheaper without even looking at my account to attempt to run any numbers with me. I left and ended up calling Verizon and found out it would be cheaper to upgrade, very frustrating! I didn't want to go back to the store after that experience so, am very inconvenienced due to the misinformation of the associate and have to wait a few days for a new phone. read more

She had been on my plan with AT&T and decided to buy a Samsung galaxy Wanted to change the number from AT&T to Verizon and have all the perks She didn't remember passwords or understand a lot of the details that go with owning a phone. We were placed with Karen Hernandez and what a incredibly nice, patient, knowledgeable, young lady. Two hours was needed to put the whole thing together. I think Verizon is lucky to have her. Came in to explore upgrades and line changes since I was in the area with the day off... NICOLE (don't call her Nikki ) surpassed my wildest expectations! I have had a few bad experiences at affiliate stores (authorized sellers, etc) and it was worth the extra 10 minutes to go to an official Verizon store. The last two times I was there I experienced less than stellar service. First was a woman who treated me like I was an idiot for not knowing that a phone's release date was not the same as it's in store arrival. Today it was with Jonathon...creepy creepy creepy. He preferred to talk about tattoos, the baby making music that his coworker was playing, and another customer's phone issues over helping me with mine. Have nothing but praise to offer! Went there this past Saturday and was checked in immediately. Even though there was a 30 minute wait, the gentleman who checked me in made sure I knew that I was next in line and even introduced me to Derek (I believe that was his name) who was a fantastic help! Got me all set up with my iPhone 7, helped me with setting up, and even got me a great trade in deal for my old iPhone with some awesome accessories. If you have a problem with waiting, either come earlier or bring a book/play on your phone. It takes a bit for them to set up everyone, so just be patient. I went to Verizon with my Sister-in law and her daughter for a phone repair. They took our name and put us on the list; it was 2pm on a saturday. We waited about 15 min until a young man named Jonathan helped us. He was very nice and fixed our phone dilemma in a snap! They were busy but the wait was a lot less then I expected.The other staff (no Jonathan) were cordial but nothing over the top. The store was clean but there were so many people milling around it was insane. Downfall- that they were playing 'Sexual Healing' while we waited, which I personally do not think is appropriate at all...but hey to each their own! read more

Terrible experience with this Verizon store. Angel the store associate I was working with was very unpleasant. I was there to pick up a new company phone. Boss talked with Verizon corporate and said they had what I needed at this branch. I get there and they do not have it. Seems like they sold it before I got there. So he had to up sell me to a larger memory or else I wouldn't get the new phone. And when I get home and look at the receipt, he charged the wrong amount that was quoted for business pricing! We've been giving this Verizon location our business for many many years. Usually decent experiences. Anyway, today my mother who is hard of hearing went to this causeway location with my brother who is trying to get his act together and get him a phone. Two employees standing outside refused to let them in together so he could help her hear! No one else was in the building! Doesn't someone's disability exempt them from these rules? Both of them were wearing masks, they would follow every other rule. Seems to me these employees were being lazy and not wanting to take the time to accommodate a loyal and paying customer. Verizon/frontier is a criminal corporation and I highly recommend you NOT do business with them. They will lie and then make false claims that you owe them money when your bill has been paid in full. They will threaten legal action, they will ruin your credit, if you are a business they will threaten your livelihood by shutting you down just to get you to pay money you don't owe. They don't call back. They don't keep their word. Customer service is poor and they lie. They can't be trusted. Heed this warning: If you do business with them you will regret it. My advice is don't listen to the misleading sales pitches and run as far as you can from these dishonest dollar sucking thieves. I went with bright house/ spectrum. This morning my father and mother who are 79 years old went into the store to upgrade an eligible I-phone. Their salesman Pierre told them about a promotion that would save us money off our monthly bill. He said that if they take 2 android tablets home with them that the tablets would be completely free. There would be no cost for the tablets, no monthly fee for having them and to make the deal sweeter he would take $40 a month off the top of our bill forever. My mom called me from the store thinking that this sounded like an amazing deal. The salesman said "no catch, totally free and we give you $40 a month off your bill to take them home. You can toss them in a drawer and never use them." My parents leave the store and I get an email from Verizon saying that they financed the tablets for 24 months and that there will be a $10 a month fee for owning the tablets. This gives me a $40+ extra charge per month on my bill. I called the salesman and he explained to me that although I am being charged an additional $40 per month he is giving me $20 per month credit off of 4 of my lines. I understand the math, but I also know that I can negotiate my own plans without having to take 2 tablets and finance them to boot. I forwarded the email to my parents (that explained the charges) and told them to return the tablets which they had only had for about 2 hours and had not even opened them yet. When they got to the store they were held there for several hours while the salesman and then the manager Robert Quinones tried to convince them that this was a great deal. When they insisted that they wanted to return them they said that they had to pay $35 per item to return them. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that they would not let my parents leave the store for more than 2 hours. My mom was in tears. It was 8:30 at night when she called me and said that they would not let her leave and that they had not eaten dinner yet and they were intimidating them. I told her to put the manager on the phone. He said that he would not take the tablets back without $70. I said, "Fine. Put it on my bill and I will deal with Verizon directly" He refused and said that they needed to pay him directly out of their own pocket. I told him to pay it out of his pocket and he hung up on me. My parents were never informed of a restocking fee. My parents never agreed to financing the tablets. My parents and myself never agreed to a monthly charge for the tablets. It is disgraceful the way that the manager takes advantage of his elderly clientele. He completely lied and deceived them into taking something they did not need. He refused to take the items back the very same day when his lies unraveled. You know that the behavior of this store reflects very poorly on the Verizon brand. read more

Went to this Verizon location with a mobile phone problem. The problem was network related. The technician asked what my problem was and I gave her my assessment. She went on her computer and looked up my personal information. Once she had that information, she told me that the "4G network" had been down two days and that was the likely problem. She added, "If you still have the problem in two days, go to the store you bought it and have them check your phone out." I left and went to the store the phone was purchased and in less that 20 minutes the phone was up and running again. Verizon provides great coverage, but it appears they quibble once the sell has been made and not all stores will support all Verizon clients. read more

Beware! Not every store that says VERIZON is actually verizon. Some of them are "Authorized Dealers". This is the reason I don't go anymore to the mall and I decided to go to this particular location. It seems the staff there has a clear mission, either to sell you something you don't need or want, or send you home with an unresolved problem. The minute you tell them you are not there to buy something, they will find a way to dismiss you. They don't make money resolving your technical problems. They don't care. I took my phone there for a simple technical problem and without even checking If i was under warranty they send me to a repair shop at the mall. Really? Poor service, the staff is condescending, they assume everybody is tech challenged when in fact you can show them a couple of new tricks. They never have enough staff to handle the volume they receive for example I'm waiting in the store right now, they opened 17 minutes ago and it's going to take me at least an hour to get the exploding Note 7 exacanged. I guess I should be happy as I tried coming in a few days ago and the wait was over 2 hours. Had Verizon for the better part of 15 years. Moved to FL, and saw an ad for Spectrum, so I changed service. Made the switch in May, and then received another bill in June for Verizon. Called customer service and asked about bill since I was no longer a Verizon customer, and was told it was in error and to disregard. Then in July I received another bill from Verizon, called in again, and was told I owed nothing and to disregard. Now in Nov. I received a bill from a collection agency for Verizon. I called in again to be told this time that it was for a final bill and was owed. Asked why first two people could not tell me that with no good answer. Asked them to call their collection agency to clear my credit, and was told they can't do anything about that once it is turned over for collection. Verizon customer service is terrible, with people not knowing what the hell they are doing. Be very careful using Verizon. I NEVER will again. read more

In comparison to the myriad of storefronts littering the local retail landscape, this location has properly trained staff with the necessary resources at their fingertips. I am hoping if I tell this story someone from Verizon will see it and help me out. On June 7th my husband and I went into the Brandon Town Center store to get a new phone for my husband. He chose the Samsung S8. Our sales person Aaron tells us that we get a FREE Samsung Galaxy Tab E with the purchase of the S8. I made sure to verify that the tablet was actually free because we didn't need another tablet. Aaron said, that all we would pay was $19.99 for the Tablet. A month later I get my next bill and I had a charge of $289.94 for buying out the contract on the previous phone but I had already bought out the contract while I was in the store. I verified with customer service that they wouldn't have been able to give the other phone if I hadn't completed the contract and of course they agreed. It turns out the $289 they were charging me on the bill was for buying out a contract of a completely different phone. The phone I was in fact talking to customer service on. After speaking to 5 people over 8 weeks they agreed to just put the contract back on my active phone and that would take off the $289. That is when I noticed that I had a new phone number on my bill that I had never seen before with a monthly charge of $19. That phone number and charge goes with the FREE Tablet that I didn't even want. I just took it because it was FREE!!!!!. So I went into the store today, and since it has been longer than 14 days they can't help me. The cancellation is $175. I said that I wanted to smash the tablet in the store and they offered to video me smashing the tablet. I might take them up on it. I think I would get $175 worth of satisfaction being able to post that video to all of Verizon's social Media sites. read more

I washed my I6 on Thursday.I have been screwing with them Verizon corp) since then. They said they would email the terms of service to me. They sent them to my son's email from college. Phone supposed to be del to my house on Monday. I called Monday,the terms were not filled out yet. So I called, (Saturday) I placed another order,had them email the terms while we were on the phone,filled out and sent back. I was assured phone was leaving at 3 pm that Saturday, for Monday del. Called on Tuesday, phone wasn't sent until Monday night. Went around with corporate,who offered me a $20 voucher. Manager Madison also assured me she was the top of the heap for customer service managers. She said she reports to no one and has no boss. She sounded like she was 12,she must be something.
