I recently dropped in to see if they could replace a battery in my iPhone. Unfortunately they do not, but due to the fact I had an old version I went ahead and decided to purchase a new phone and plan. Travis was absolutely amazing! He provided answers to any questions I had, showed me multiple options and was extremely friendly. I was very happy with my experience and recommend Travis is you can, even though you probably can't go wrong with anyone at this location. However all I had to do was call customer service but they did not answer the store phone which made me have to drive over there for nothing basically. further, every sales rep in there was scrolling on their phones while helping customers and listening to music on earbuds while servicing customers. Horrible service. Went in to pick up a new phone for an upgrade. The woman who helped me was aloof and completely uninterested. They didn't bother to ask me if I had the correct wall plug-in needed for my new phone (which I did not). They also didn't ask/provide the mail-in bag for my old phone. I ended up having all kinds of issues with the new phone. Was on with Verizon help for several hours b/c the phone was not activating correctly. Turns out I even had a better deal available...I was told via VM but didn't get it for 2 days after b/c my phone wasn't working properly. The support people on Verizon's support line were surprised at the poor service as well. Verizon continues to have awesome service, but this location has something not every store has! An employee named Ryan! He is one of the most helpful people I have ever encountered from the numerous stores I have ever been. The location of the store is fantastically placed in a shopping plaza with tons of food choices! The parking lot is huge and the area is very new build. This store is located directly across the street from Brueggers and Carribou Coffee. The selection of same brand devices is somewhat limited, but there is a large variety of brands. Don't come in thinking it will look like an Apple Store. They also have a neat machine in the back of the store that allows you to purchase accessories without having to be waited on or stand in line. The lines can be long at this location, but they are quick to hand out bottled water and turn on some cool music! I suggest making a reso prior to arriving or you may have to put your name in and go grab a quick bite to eat! read more

The absolute BEST customer service I have received at a wireless store (including other brands). I worked with Robert F. and Solomon W. Both went above and beyond to get my business account set up properly. They sacrificed their time and stayed after the close of business to get my accounts set up. While they were very personable & we joked with each other, they maintained professionalism and informed me in detail of cost, fees etc. As a business owner, it's good to be appreciated & they showed this by doing a writhing in their power to make the transition from Sprint to Verizon as seamless as possible! My boyfriend and I went here to get our phones activated, I also was switching phone lines and needed my phone number transferred. The service was awful. The woman helping us was very uninterested and didn't bother helping us activate our phones, just gave us a piece of paper with instructions and had us do it ourselves. The other representatives in the store were really no better, another lady was losing her patience with an elderly gentleman next to us, despite him being there for less than 5min (I mean truly did not give this man a chance). This is one of the worst Verizon stores out there and poss the worst in Charlotte. Save yourself time and stress and head up to Northlake Commons or Sharon Corners at Southpark. This one is always busy and when it's not, it is still slow. I have had 3 bad experiences here, so I don't know if it is a poor hiring/training issue or what, since the rest of the organization seems to offer fantastic service (via phone or other store). I went in to upgrade my phone and they didn't ask any questions about what I typically use my phone for, but seemed to just push the iPhone as the phone du jour, so after I got it home and was working with it I realized it was so poorly suited for me that I returned it within 14 hours (and lost some $$ on it). I was so unimpressed he didn't take the time to understand my needs and match me up to the right phone. So I gave up for a few months and when my blackberry was really dying and my hubby and I were trying to figure out if we wanted to switch to T-mobile which was cheaper or stay with VZW we were trying to compare plans, phones, etc. The guy who helped us was a total d!ck and basically said "Sure, switch." Huh? I've been with you for years and you don't even put up a fight? Well, we didn't end up switching service but we did switch stores. This toxic store is such an anomaly, so don't let it ruin VZW for you. read more

Verizon completely disabled all of our business lines, at no fault of ours, because of a missing document on their end. This egregious mistake on their part has cost thousands of dollars in the last 24 hours of not being able to operate, not to mention numerous people and their lives not being able to move their homes on moving day. The damage to our reputation will take some time to build that trust back. Repeated attempts to fix the issue were met with; certain necessary departments only operating during business hours; requests for obscure documents; no alternative options nor any higher authority available after hours and addition 24 hours repair times. I'm grateful that I'm not an on-call Doctor with such a verizon problem. The issue was triggered by a low level sales rep not doing his job. A visit to the store, I was met by Matthew Stokesbury who unfairly felt the full brunt of my frustration. The problem was corrected a few minutes before I walked into the store with an online rep, but Matthew was helpful and attentive with others minor issues. Another manager, Michael, went out of his way to offer help when he saw the frustration. That's what great service looks like, folks. Verizon could be a standard in excellence if they worked on their processes; mistakes that cost in many ways. read more

I visited this store to get a new charger. I walked in and was immediately greeted by at least 5 employees ready to assist me. The employee that did help me, got what I needed and it was a fast transaction. The customer service I experienced that day was phenomenal. Before I get into the ridiculous amount of disappointment let me start by saying this review isn't specifically for this store listed but Verizon as a company. I have been a loyal customer of Verizon since my first flip phone so needless to say I dealt with a few of the things they've put me through over the years but I've officially had it with this company. I recently paid off my phone I have been paying on for over 2 years and decided to get another through an agent online (due to the pandemic the stores are closed) I specifically told the agent on multiple occasions in our online chat the CORRECT name and CORRECT address to send the new phone to. I paid the upfront costs and was expecting the package to come & to my surprise she wrote the name of another account holder and didn't add my apartment number. After TWO HOURS of phone calls another agent explained to me that I will have to wait for the package to get sent back across the country where it came from for me to go back into my account and order another (with no money back or even a gift card for the inconvenience) if I am able to cancel this phone I will DEFINITELY be cancelling my line and moving to a different company. I'm very very disappointed to say the least. read more

When I renewed my 2 year contract and upgraded my phone at this location I did not feel the service was satisfactory. I am a mid 20 year old woman and the associate was much more interested in helping the older gentleman, who came after me, who he clearly thought was going to bring more business to him. When he couldn't figure out why my new Blackberry wasn't pulling up my email he basically said he couldn't help after 1 try. He was very rude and for this reason I did not purchase any of my extras (memory card, case, etc) at this location. Maybe other associates would be better. read more

So I needed to have my work phone (iPhone) worked on due to an issues I was having. They cleared it up in no time.

I usually have just as much fun visiting the gynecologist than I do being in any verizon store for any amount of time, however this store takes the cake. The customer service I experienced was TERRIBLE. Was virtually ignored by the employees and they removed my name from their waiting list because they 'thought I had left'. It is not a big store and they moved on to helping other customers without even attempting to call out my name. Once I finally was able to speak with a customer service representative they PUT ME ON THE PHONE with another representative and refused to offer any other help. Obviously no one enjoys trips to the phone store when there are issues but this is the last time I will ever visit this particular verizon. TL;DR Verizon is the worst and their employees are rude and unhelpful. read more

I have gone to the Verizon store for several years and have generally be satisfied with Samsung and I pad. This years my Samsung proved too long and my chin kept hitting the mute button so I switched to the new google pixel 2A. This phone has been nothing but trouble. My screen shot turned to neon yellow and black. It multiplied icons. Ultimately I wound up spending eons of time trouble shooting with a number of tech guy who each told me that if I wasn't willing to trouble shoot with them there was nothing they could do (that means I have to be willing to trouble shoot forever...no refunds, no returns) so by this point my phone is ONLY OPENING WHEN an ad pops up and I Have to if I want to make a call. So now we get to the core of Verizon. When I ask for customer service, I'm transferred to a call center agent WHO HAS-NOTHING TO DO BUT SELL VIRiZON. I'm done with this company read more

The people at the store seemed nice and helpful, and it was nice getting a phone in store and set up as opposed to waiting via the mail. However, that's where it ends. The saleswoman talked me into using a $100 promo for the phone I purchased, which allowed me to get $100 worth of accessories which she told me would be charged to the account but IMMEDIATELY refunded. A couple weeks later, there's an extra $100 charged to my account. I went into the store and the manager said to just not pay it, and it would come off the next billing cycle. Well, new billing statement was just issued and surprise, surprise- it's still on there!! read more

Let me tell you guys about what Verizon did to me. Before i ordered my iPhone X i confirmed with 2 different 611 agents(Verizon's customer service) what my bill was going to be. After not 1 but 2 agents promised me my bill would go up 10 extra dollars i went ahead and placed my order with Andrew Placide. One month later my bill arrives and everything i was told goes out the door. My bill now will be $40 over what my old bill was. I called and complained 1 horrible rep after another and finally one rep decides to take charge. What Verizon tried to do is keep my $350 dollars of credits that i have and charged me and extra 1000 for the new phone. So instead of honoring what 2 agents have promised me they are now returning me my old phone that i sent back to them and want the iPhone X back. That right there shows you how bad Verizon treats there customers. I have spent upwards of $3000 to Verizon and just like that they disregarded everything.
