Jeff help me by transferring all the data reprogramming my programming my phone giving me a new cover and putting a hardening agent on the screen so when I drop it it won't break. OMG! I can't thank Nicola Phillips enough for getting me through the process of buying a new iPhone ! You have to be mensa IQ level to navigate all the pricing plans with all the variables. Good thing Nicola is a very smart ! She walked me through the options with patience & professionalism! Walked in for a power cord for iPhone 5 on a blustery cold day and $30 later I walked out with what I needed. The staff here was great and knew exactly what I needed. I bought a new phone at a different verizon store and went back to buy one for my wife...bad news is that the computers were down and couldn't sell us a phone...the good news is we found this store. The team working there are great. They didn't just sell us a phone, they made sure it was the right one for our needs. They took the time to show us the features that met our needs and were able to adjust the verizon account to match how much the phone is actually used...these guys aren't one timers...they want u to be a life long customer...the service was excellent and mike, who helped us, was extremely knowledgeable and was attentive to our needs...if you need a new phone or want an honest opinion of your current plan, you can't beat this store. read more

I was in the process of switching from Sprint to Verizon since my contract ended. This place is right down the street from me, so I stopped in to inquire about an iPhone for my wife and me as well as their plans. Damien was very helpful and didn't pressure me whatsoever. I could have done the same thing online but it was nice to talk through my options with a knowledgeable person. When I went to pick up my phones, I thought everything went smoothly. But the next morning, i realized my phone number was not the one I originally had with Sprint. So I went back into the store to correct it. Damien promptly did so. Unfortunately, when I went to register on Verizon's website, I noticed my wife's phone was not on my plan. So I called Verizon and they said it was set up on its own plan. They fixed that problem. So if you go in there to switch carriers, double check your numbers are correct and that you are on the proper plan. read more

My husband and I were thinking of switching to T-Mobile from Verizon because he was out of contract and he had gotten a "better" deal from T-Mobile. We went into this Verizon store expecting more sales pitches. Instead Patrick and Damien really went out of there way to help us figure out what was best for us, while taking advantage of a few deals where we could save even more money. This store is a huge piece of dogshit. I keep receiving EXTrEMELY annoying and persistent calls from the salespeople here trying to get me to come buy something. I have asked them to stop calling. Very rude and unprofessional. When I ask what these "promotions" i qualify for, they say they cannot tell me over the phone, that i have to come into the store. Wtf? So i call verizons 1800 number and they tell me everything. I would rather buy my phone from a used car salesman than these Mobile Generation ass holes. read more

While some of Verizon's policies did not make for a pleasant experience, these were out of their control and they did everything in their control to help me get a new phone right at launch and replace it when it was defective (also not their fault, of course). While waiting in the store I also witnessed them frequently, patiently walking customers through any and all features on their phone that they wanted help with or explanations desired. While at times I debated purchasing online being easier, when I ran into problems having the personal care of Nichola and Damien was greatly appreciated. read more

This location is located directly on Western Avenue just south of Lawrence. It's right off the Brown Line stop and there's also a metered parking lot steps away from the storefront. I came in for a new wall charger and a cable late last week, and came back today for a screen guard. Great customer service both times with different people - no frills or aggressive sales attempts. Went here to upgrade to the iPhone 5 and have my wife join my plan with my old iPhone 4 and it could not have been any easier or less stressful. I really thought we were in for a really difficult process and it was not at all. Damien helped us and he was great. Very friendly, professional and efficient. We got it all done quickly and he explained everything well and thoroughly. Went back with my wife's old cell phone later that day and he was able to transfer all of her contacts to her iPhone in a couple of minutes. Again, relieved us of any potential stress. Do not take your business here! After 3 weeks of madness, a useless phone and VERY poor customer service, I got a full refund for my phone, with the assistance of the district manager, and out of the contract with the assistance of Verizon Corporate. Be warned that this is not a Verizon Corporate store and they operate by their own set of policies and guidelines. Save yourself some time and find a corporate store to go to so that when things don't go right, you'll get good service from people who know what they're doing and are interested in helping you. Instead of just weaseling their way out of their responsibilities so that they can make a buck. read more

So I had to switch from US Cell to Verizon since US Cell is leaving Chicago. I went in and talk to David. He helped me get a lot for my phone with discounts and trading in my phone. The best part is he did not try to over sell me on anything. He told me what he could do to lower the cost of my plan and phone and did. Its great that Verizon let's their employees have the power to do that. However, after the 14 days were up I saw a commercial, with my same phone for $100 less. I went in and tried to see if there was anyway to get that deal instead of the priced I paid at the time. I talked to another person, Chris. He was nice as well. I knew I was outside the 14 day period to switch or exchange and hoped that they could make an exception. They couldn't but Chris was able to help me with some accessories and e-mail someone else about my situation to see if they could change it. Not sure if they can but so far this particular store is great. Take an example of this: Companies that let their employee have the power to do things for the customer is the best business practice. read more

Patrick spent an incredible amount of time working with me. He was patient and very helpful in answering my many questions. I worked with Patrick over the course of three very long store visits and along the way I was able to equally enjoy the company of his coworker Damien; both great guys, professional and enjoyable to be with. The process of having to get unstocked items from another store was a pain but the high quality customer service exceeded these minor inconveniences. My experience felt more like I was working with a small business rather than corporate. While Patrick was helping me upgrade my iphone, he even tried to help figure out an Icloud account issue, certainly above and beyond his job description. Verizon is Verizon. Jeff was seriously incredible. I was overcharged for data that I didn't use and he called customer support and stayed on the phone with me for 45 minutes. After we got that issue sorted out, he helped set me up with a new unlimited plan and gave me lots of good tips for how to get the most out of my phone features. He went way above and beyond.
