    Guy was very nice. I have a phone, tablet and internet for $74 a month. I like the location. Short bike ride to pay my bill.

    it's bull shit that you cannot reach any branch store by phone. isn't this a phone store ? The AI customer care/ Tech support is really bad.

    Boost customer service is horrible. A complete run around. You go in for one price and you end up getting charged a higher price.

    On Saturday March 14th, 2026 I took a trip to the Mangrove AT&T store in Chico. I am not a customer…read moreof AT&T currently. I came across a modem in a storage Shed and I wanted to return it to AT&T and I've been shopping around for a new carrier for my phone and internet services. I figured since I was going to be there to ask what to do with the modem I could talk to them about switching over to AT&T while I was there. I walked in with the modem in a small box, and before the door even shut, a lady in the back of the store started yelling at me, "WE DON'T TAKE THOSE HERE!" in a very, very rude loud voice. of course I was standing there stunned at the greeting. then she yelled at me again, "WE DON'T TAKE THOSE HERE! YOU HAVE TO SEND IT BACK YOURSELF!" I got a confused look on my face and I said I found it, it isn't mine but she screamed again, "WE DON'T TAKE THAT STUFF HERE" (as if I would know that since I wasn't a customer). I was so shocked at the time that I didn't understand what she was talking about. A polite male employee (that looked as shocked as me) was sitting close to where I was standing and he was kind enough to explain to me (in a normal voice) where to take it. He politely answered my questions and I left the store. As I hobbled (I'm handicapped) to the UPS store I was getting more and more angry at the unprofessional attitude and rudeness of the employee. I think she was the manager. When I got to the UPS store the line was 10 deep and only one person was working at the desk, so I turned around and threw the modem into the trash by the door and I left. I have NEVER in my life had a person yell at me like that before I even opened my mouth. Too bad for AT&T. They could have had a new customer that day, but not now. Not after that kind of behavior. I've posted this on every social media platform in my quest to warn everyone to avoid that store. Unless you like being treated badly and taken advantaged of. There are many negative reviews on that store. Be sure to read them before you even consider walking through their door.

    If I could give zero stars, I would. This was the worst experience I've ever had. The whole process…read moretook three days. On the first day, the guy helping me was not knowledgeable at all. After he realized my phone was an iPhone 14 instead of the 13 he originally claimed it was, he tried to put it on me as if I had told him it was a 14. He said he would have to order the battery, but he never explained that he would call me when it came in. I called on Sunday (day two) to see if the battery had arrived. It didn't show up until Monday. I took my phone into the store so they could swap out the battery. My phone was working fine at that time. After they replaced the battery, my phone started shutting off during calls, then right after sending a text message, and again after another phone call. I took it back to them. They removed the new battery and put the old one back in, saying the new battery must have been defective. However, once the old battery was reinstalled, the phone continued doing the same thing--dying during phone calls and after sending texts. Now the phone just turns off and on by itself. As a result, I had to buy a new phone, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by getting a new battery in the first place. They completely messed up my phone. I would not refer anyone to this place--not even my worst enemy.
