My mother came in and was coerced into buying a tablet when she upgraded her phone. She was made to feel like she had to take it because it was "free". They falsely advertised the length of the contract and never mentioned that it came with its own set of monthly fees. They tried to tell her it would fall under a $10 charge for a tablet that was already on the account. When she tried to return it less than 24 hours later, they charged her a $45 restocking fee. When I called to ask for them to refund the money they told me they could not give her the restocking money back, even though I had just spoken to the main Verizon customer service who stated that they should and could refund that money! Beware of false claims and be ready to be taken advantage of.... especially if you are older. They make a commission off of pushing those tablets, and they are not "free"! read more

I have been to several Verizon Centers, and this one is by far my favorite. I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in the door, and had no wait time before an employee was there to help me. They were very professional, friendly, and did everything they could to make sure my cell phone issues were solved. If I ever need to go into a Verizon Store, this is definitely my first and only choice in Chico! read more

People are helpful and patient. Verizon "official store" in the mall is always crowded and slow. At least here your wait yes are tolerable.

I was really grateful for the help today by Justin Iiams. Without his assistance, I wouldn't have known which phone would best serve my needs and which phones to avoid. He gave me a spectacular deal on a phone and accessories and made me aware of discounts I would have been unaware of otherwise. He even filled out the paperwork for my rebate and provided an addressed envelope for me to use. Came in to buy a phone and I was greeted by a small round women who seemed nice but through our transaction became very sour. I was due for an upgrade and my sister in law had told me about a verizon with nice service. Lorina greeted and then told me she wanted to pull up my account. I gladly told her my information and she said I had qualified for a tablet. I was overjoyed! She explained that I qualified for a tablet because I was getting a phone today. She then told me about a bundle deal I could qualify for as well. Which included 5 accessories and she kept explaining to me how it was an amazing deal. She rung me up and the total came up to nearly $300. I was struck with awe. She told me I was getting a free phone and I only had to make monthly payments on it. I asked her why it was so high, and she gave me a detailed description of each item. A glass screen for $50?!?!? That's ridiculous. A car charger for $40?!?!? She was obviously trying to squeeze me for everything I was worth. It's a complete rip off, when I could get all those accessories for $75 on amazon!!! I told her I only wanted my phone and tablet. She then went to go talk to a much older women with bangs, whom I'm guessing was her manager. Then her manager tried to sell me these products! Telling me about a life time warranty, blah, blah, blah. I'm only going to have this phone for 2 years! 3 years at max! She was relentless and if I didn't need this phone, I would have left then and there. Then I was told I was still being charged $100, after all the accessories were removed. She tried to tell me it was tax, and told me about some $20 fee to set everything up!!! I can set up things myself! Plus Lorina was so busy looking down on her phone she didn't even ask me to set up a password on my phone or anything! I left extremely unhappy. Then I got my bill. Boy! Was I even more irritated! I had an activation fee for $20 then another $40. I had some insurance fee for my phone and tablet and I didn't even put it on there. I called verizon that very minute and they told me the representative did it themself!!! I felt cheated! Buyers beware! This is not a real verizon!!! It's a 3rd party retailer. Go to the one in the mall! Avoid Lorina, and the old manager!!! read more

Hated my experience here. Pestered for insurance multiple times, as in 6 times. Even gave me some fake story about some random Joe Shmoe breaking his phone. Tried to launch me on a tablet and told me it was all apart of some kind of deal. Yeah right....an overpriced, 4 times as much per an accessory from amazon deal. What a joke. Also the Manager tried to step in and offer some kind of incentive and made a really poor tasting joke. i went to this store for a simple transaction. i dealt with two individuals, the current manager (a gentleman,) and another employee named Susan Sampson. When Susan could not help us she enlisted the manager. i was truly expecting large discouragement as well as a laundry list of what we did not need for our two phones or plan. instead they did something we could not do for ourselves online and were patient and friendly in the process. the two of them also empathized with our previous negative experience which i can only describe as feeling "fleeced" by a corporate store. i have been taken advantage of with no scruples in the past by sales people who appear friendly and forget we are individuals with real lives. these two employees were so sensitive to our situation, however financial or trivial. they offered extra assistance and money SAVING ideas for our bill. who does that! On Verizon? it was a first to me, so i wanted to say they were pleasant to deal with and the vibe was relaxed and enjoyable. They did not coerce us into conversations that encouraged overspending but they discovered our interests and needs and did a professional job. i would be happy to return there again and was disappointed i had not given my initial commission to this business. ;) read more
