BEWARE OF THIS STORE! I was a customer with Verizon' for 16+ years. My first phone service was with Verizon. I never had any issues with them until the last few years. I went to the store to do a trade in for a new phone. The man who helped me said if I gave them my "old" iPhone they would upgrade me to a new one. So I turned in my iPhone 10 and received what I thought would be a free iPhone 13. He explained to me that the phone bill would show me getting billed for the new phone for the first 2 billing cycles until the trade in kicks in but they would credit my account back. So for a couple of months I didn't think anything of it when I was paying for the new phone. After I got billed for the third month I called Verizon to confirm my trade in and they said nothing on my account was showing they received a trade in phone. So I went to the store to explain this to the same guy who helped me and he acted as if he did not remember me and said " are you sure you traded a phone in?" Uhhh YEAH I TRADED MY PHONE IN THATS WHY I HAVE THIS ONE! Long story short they never found my old phone and I ended up paying for a new phone that I shouldn't have even paid for... Verizon or the guy himself stole my old phone so I couldn't even get any money out of it!!! This year I decide to change carriers because of the terrible experience I had as well as paying $130 a month for a single line. I go to this Verizon store and I pay everything off. (It's the closest store to me) I should have known better considering the terrible experience I had previously... They tell me my phone and everything is paid for and I am all good to switch my carriers. So I switch over to Xfinity no problems and a month later I start getting billed with Verizon again. Apparently they didn't do whatever they needed to do correctly and I "owe Verizon more money" At this point I feel like these people have taken complete advantage of me and my money. I actually considered a class action law suit against them because I noticed other people had phones stolen as well. This store is an absolute NIGHTMARE. They steal your phones (probably resale them and pocket the money) and they don't know how to do their jobs. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE IF YOU ARE WORKING WITH VERIZON OR CONSIDERING IT. Honestly Verizon is extremely over priced. I get the same service if not better with Xfinity and I pay $70 a month with a brand new iPhone 15 pro plus. read more

This store deserves ZERO stars. After a year & a half, I had to finally upgrade for the first time & the bills following have been a f***ing nightmare! Remaining balance to PAY OFF on old phone in order to upgrade: $208.30 - paid! Down payment on new device: $0 + upgrade fee, taxes and fees- paid! First bill increased by $35...... Second bill increased by $778.75! Goodbye paycheck, hello overdraft fees Wasted my entire evening on the phone with a CSR who didn't know **** ......I did their job for them as far as investigating historical records and figuring out where they had me ****** up. They finally understood and suggested I go in to the store for a resolution. If you do decide to do business here....be cautious. I would most definitely agree with the 2 star review of this place. One is that they have a very poor organization for customer service. Instead of having a kiosk where you can check yourself in and a digital display showing wait times, they have an employee dedicated exclusively to standing around signing people in. Then, they have no way to tell you an estimated wait time in spite of having an entire position dedicated to signing people up to wait. This is the company that is supposed to keep you connected but their system of customer service is so disconnected that it truly makes you wonder how they manage to advertise being at the top of the connectivity game for cell phone networks. We were waiting around for around 30 minutes when we asked how much longer would it be to the person in charge of signing people into wait and that person had no clue. He offered us a next day appointment instead. Shame on Verizon for not investing in systems of efficiency for customer service. The wait in here is very similar to the wait at the ER or urgent care. If you are looking for a business where you can get to wait for 30 minutes to an hour-however long the business decides, this is definitely the place for you to come shop for your next cell phone. read more

I ordered a phone over the phone with a Verizon representative four days ago. I selected this store for pickup since I would be in the area. When I arrived, I waited for help and was asked for my phone number. They entered it into an iPad and informed me that my order was pending. I mentioned that I had called Verizon customer service the day before to confirm that my phone was ready for pickup. The representative told me they couldn't assist and that I needed to call customer service. I thought to myself, I'm standing in a Verizon store; why should I have to make a call? After my phone conversation with the rep, he explained that the store manager hadn't processed my order, which is why it was pending. I learned that the store doesn't receive the same credit for phone orders as walk-ins, so they seemed to be hoping I'd cancel my order and return to the store to start over. Consequently, I canceled my order and went to the Verizon store near Dick's Sporting Goods in Clovis; I will not return to this store; their professionalism was lacking, and they didn't try to assist me adequately. Went there because I rcvd a email from Verizon for a new, free phone. Walked in and a man signed us in via his tablet. He had no idea on wait time. We waited 40 min. The first thing they asked, after the number and name was "what do u do for a living? What's your SSN#?" I'm not at a car dealership. I've been a Verizon customer for 14 years. Why ask these questions when they have this info already in the system? My husband and I were so annoyed that we left without a new/free phone. Questions were answered vaguely. So disappointing. Store hours were posted online, posted on the front of the door and yet still I waited 2 hours and they hadn't opened so that I could pick up my already purchased and ready phones. No signs stating that they would be closed or any indication of when/if they would re-open. It's sad that they weren't worried about the customers who might arrive and be waiting who traveled across town and took time off work to pick up scheduled purchase items. read more

If I could give zero stars that would be more accurate. I'll start off by saying PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE!!!! I've been dealing with an issue for over three months with these people. I have came countless of times to the store have always been patient and understanding but ITS BEEN OVER THREE MONTHS AND MY MONEY KEEPS BEING TAKEN. I keep getting promised credits and bill improvements and NOTHING! what's worse is I have not seen lance ever again since he first gave me this problem. You'd think you would have some audacity to at least fix your mistake! And what's even more worse is they ignore me my messages, calls, Everytime I come in I just get told to wait.. A bunch of LIARS. The manager is so passive aggressive. I recently switched lines and Lance was the person helping me. I DECLINED the phone protection they offer and was still charged for it along with other bs activation charges. I went in to address the issue and the manager was so rude and tried to belittle me which i think is pretty easy to do since i am younger and a woman. He made me feel dumb and told me "well i wasn't there so therefore i can't remove these charges" I got my stuff and came back with my contract. He didn't say A WORD to me and removed the charges. Now my issue still continues as i am still being overcharged with netflix twice and other charges that once again didn't authorize. The other employees are helpful and professional, however, the manager needs training on how to treat his customers and a reality check. He's not intimidating, he just looks dumb and unprofessional. read more

Verizon Connect refuses to address the fact that one of our GPS Units needs to be replaced because it hasn't been working properly. When I call the employees are snide and condescending. With promises of sending me a case number that never comes - that was 6 months ago!! We are being robbed as we have to pay for service that doesn't work - and we can't cancel without having to pay an "early cancellation fee" - it's pretty steep for there only being a few months left on my contract. Verizon's customer support is truly a huge disappointment. They lack basic concern for their customer's needs. They act like the customer should be eternally grateful when they respond (IF they respond) to customers, as if helping the customers isn't what keeps them in business but helping the customers is optional. Getting a reply can take a week or more, if you even get one. Overall, dealing with Verizon Connect has been a frustrating experience. Our advice is clear: avoid Verizon Connect at all costs. Sold us a "HUM" telling us that it's Compatible with any Vehicle/s "Which is a Lie" .. and we aren't able to return it now. So we are getting charged for something that DOESNT work ..is Ridiculous. I called the HUM Service and they just tell us to Unplug and plug it back in.. Warning pops up "Remove Immediately from Vehicle, not Compatible "..We were also told The Towing on the Hum was Free doesnt matter any miles.. "Which again was a LIE." He either #1 told us yes cause he wasnt paying attention to us or #2 he gets Commission & will tell us anything for us to buy it.. Terrible Customer service !.. I've always liked this location. It's a corporate store, so that means you get the best deals and your account is accurately accessed for your upgrades. On my visit, I met with Patty. She did a stellar job upgrading my two phones by providing excellent service and advice based on my needs. Now I am so glad with my phones and the accessories I chose. We purchased our phones from a Verizon in another city about 1/2 way between our daughter's home and our home. They only had one IPhone 13 Pro in stock so my husband and I got our a couple days later in the mail. I was able to do almost all the setup, but was unable to complete it so we went to this store with our phones, information and issues. Patty was quick to help us and spent all the time needed to get everything switched from Sprint/TMobile (which does not work in the foothills) to our new Verizon account and phones. I have never been treated or talked to the way your employee talked to me on Monday. The male employee snapped his fingers and told me to sit. He did this to me a total of 3 times. I'm not a dog he is training. I had not even shut the door and this is how I was treated. I was looking to purchase a new phone. Due to the ignorance of the employee I went to AT&T. I have been here before and it has been okay service. Today was the worst service I have ever had and the manager did not even apologize for the service. I knew they were busy and decided to wait, so someone can help me. I was signed in by one of the workers and was forgotten. They blamed it on a "glitch" which was all BS because me signing in was still in their records. They had me wait for close to an hour. After the whole explanation of how my name got lost somehow.... the manager tried to help me as much as he can. Then I found out that I didn't even need to solve my problem at the store. He told me to call Asurion (the insurance company) for a replacement because it was covered. That took only 5 minutes... they wasted my time and I know he didn't care. Then when I called, the insurance company told me that my phone was not covered. So they rerouted me to Verizon customer service over the phone. They were a lot more helpful and solved my problem within 15 minutes. My recommendation: Only go to the this store if customer service over the phone doesn't solve your problem. They actually know what they are doing. This store just gives you wrong information. Going there will only waste your time. I will not be going to that store anymore. It's not worth waiting. Poor customer service. I have been to this store twice and neither good experiences. The first time it was a sales person doing whatever they could to get me into a new phone and the second time was regarding a customer service issue. The manager was "in a meeting" and could not address a concern I had. All I got was a generic blanket response from sales associate. Their suggestion to fix the problem was for me to go out of my way and spent more money. this is probably the worst verizon staff in town, or was, i haven't gone here in about a year now. why i decided to do a review today? i'm thinking about doing an upgrade and this place finally pop back in my mind. the last time i did an upgrade here, i did an order online and to be pick up at this store. when i came they made me waited half an hour (after signing in etc..) there was like 2 other customer inside. then this big dude came out with a box. it was filled with other crap that i didn't give much shit about, like cases and etc.. i told him i don't care about any of that stuff and that im on a tight schedule. dude was trying to sell me all sorts of things for my phone. i had to keep telling him no and to hurry up. next thing i know dude opens up my brand new phone and turns it on and shit. at this point i was confused as heck. he told me he had to make sure its working properly before it leaves the store. i said ok. i was doing an upgrade for my little sister's phone, at this time my little sister is at school (fresno state). basically i wanted to do an upgrade on the phone and surprised her with the new phone. i didn't want to activate the new phone yet. so this dude turns it on and he turns the new phone on and so my little sister's phone got deactivated. i told him, if he deactivated her old phone and now it won't be working, how the heck is she gonna call me. i gotta go pick her up real soon. he just said sorry there's nothing he can do and that its how its done. i was thinking to myself, if i had ship the damn phone to my house by paying that 10 dollars, i wouldn't have to deal with this piece of shit services. overall, this place was and im not sure if it still is horrible. this review is base on my last visit there. there were multiple visits before that too and services was just as horrible. many years ago i went in to look for a smart phone, this manager there was telling me to stop touching the phones because i might break it. was it because of my race? i don't know. my review would be way too long, im going to stop here. dating back to the last time i visit here, which was around september of 2013. of all the times i came here, probably out of the 8-9 times, never got a decent services. probably the worst was when they wouldn't print out a copy of my statement for me. read more

Out of the 3/4 major providers that I have been with in the last 18 years, Verizon is the best. They have always given me a personal phone call to advise that I might be going over my call minutes and suggesting that I opt into the next higher plan to cover my overage and then suggesting that after the billing cycle closes, call back and drop back down to my original minute plan thus saving me a lot of money. read more

I needed a new iPhone and went to Verizon as they are my service provider and that is where we have purchased our phones before. There was one other customer when I walked in so I received immediate service. The person I dealt with had a very smug and condescending attitude and refused to answer basic questions. When he started to explain the difference of advice and advise to me, I took that as advice to go buy a phone elsewhere. I drove to Fashion Fair and went into the Apple Store with seemingly hundreds of people in there and walked out 45 minutes later with a new phone loaded with my data for $100 less than Verizon was offering. When I got home and told my family what happened, my daughter said she had recently walked out of the same store. Very poor customer service! read more

Never ever go here unless you want to wait forever and get no help. They will not help you with even the simplest of technical question. Two of the girls that work there are extremely rude to all customers it seems and we have a huge business account with them and they treat us like crap.
