I had a horrible customer experience with a manager named JC. He never gave me his full undivided attention & was quick to pass me off to customer service. After explaining my situation to him, his only response was call customer service & if they need me for anything let me know. My customer service calls kept dropping & his only response was theres nothing we can do to help. I then asked to deal with someone else at the store which at that point his response was that he's the manager & his reps will not be dealing with me. JC was incredibly dismissive & borderline disrespectful. If this is what Verizon passes off as a manager then their service & ratings will continue to suffer. read more

This was my very first experience with Verizon - and it will definitely be my last. Two Verizon reps came to my home and offered me internet service. I told them I currently pay $65/month with AT&T for 50 Mbps. They laughed and said, "Oh man, that's way too much for such slow speed. We can give you 300 Mbps for $85 - but right now we have a promotion, and you'll only pay $45. Not just temporarily, but locked in for 4 years!" That sounded like a great deal, so I signed up. Today I received the equipment, installed it, and when I logged into my account - surprise - the plan was $85, not $45. I called Verizon immediately thinking it was just a mistake. Instead, the rep told me there was no error, the plan is indeed $85, but they can "generously" give me a $10 discount. What a joke. When I asked if it was normal for their salespeople to blatantly lie and trick customers, the rep hung up on me. This was nothing but fraud and deception. Verizon's door-to-door salespeople lied to my face, and customer service didn't care at all. I'm writing this review to warn others: stay away from Verizon unless you enjoy being scammed and disrespected. read more

This store is right on sterling road just east of Dania point shopping center on the north side . We were surprised they were not busy and were taken care of right away . I was reluctant to get a new phone but my XS battery was constantly out of juice, and charging became annoying . It seems the phones are made to be good for two years and then the battery starts to act up. Pity because I was actually very comfortable with handling my phone.I would have kept it ten years . Verizon always has incentives to lure one in , this was bring your iPhone in and pay monthly 23.00 . The transaction went smoothly . I purchased about 300.O0 in accessories but did not finance this . I'm happy with this new phone that has a better camera . Now all I need to learn are ,all the new features . Grateful to have gotten the apple plan in case I damage the phone too. I went in to purchase a new phone. I'm from out of state and was having issues with my older phone. They didn't have the phone I wanted in stock so they said they could send one to the address I was staying at overnight. I said I would pay for overnight. I later received the email confirming the delivery 3 days later. I won't be in town 3 days later. I go back into the store to get this straightened out. Two men were helping me and said their system defaults to the free shipping and that they couldn't change it. Meanwhile another customer walks and sits down right next to me. He wants the same phone. And he gets one. They got some in phones in since I was there earlier that morning. Instead of offering to cancel my order and get me the phone they now have they give the other customer the phone I was ordering. Guess what? It was the last one. There was absolutely no problem solving on the part of the employees. They knew my situation and could have solved it before the other customer walked in. They treated me like "how dare you ask us to give you a phone". No apologies. They acted appalled that I even suggested that they could have fixed my issue. I had a great experience here and it's because we had a patient and compassionate sales representative helping us. My mother needed a new flip phone, yes I said flip phone! Kayla helped my mom set up her voicemail and she wouldn't let us leave until she was confident my mom was comfortable using the phone. I am holding back the 5th star because I was turned down when I asked to have the $40 activation fee waived. I wasn't worried about it because I knew I would call Verizon customer service later in the day when I had time. When I called customer service they waived my activation fee immediately. No fuss, no negotiations, I just asked nicely and now I have a $40 credit on my next statement. This is a corporate store, not an authorized retailer. This store is also located in the Dania Pointe shopping center, not Oakwood. I confirmed the store information and everything else is correct. I told the gentlemen that was in a cage what was the problem with me sending message out with my IPad, he asked me to put my password in, so I did. These guys lie worse than used car salesmen. For their free 30 day trial $35/ month 5G hotspot, Verizon is trying to bill me $242.00 and it hasn't even been a month. Product does not work in my area in Hollywood. Tried to return before the 30 days was up but they are giving me a bunch of bs and will not accept it. Filing complaints with FCC and FTC. Came into the store thinking I would have to argue with a manager regarding a trade in issue on carrying over from another service provider, the experience couldn't have been further from the truth. From the minute we came in, Christina the manager, helped us get our problem sorted and called and stayed on hold with the customer service line which is a nightmare all while making sure we were happy with all options presented. We arrived 4:30 on Friday with the intention of switching from AT&T to Verizon. We were immediately greeted by Josh who started to set us up for a new account. We paid and, right after pressing the buttons to activate our new lines, there was an error message. Josh immediately called Verizon customer service to try to fix the problem. He was placed on hold multiple times with multiple departments within Verizon, who seemed to not be able to figure out a plan to rectify the situation because an account was not created. He even tried to get us a reimbursement and start the process over, but the representative was only able to tell us that we would be given temporary numbers while they tried to transfer our numbers over, with no set time frame. Josh approached the manager to ask for assistance, and Tuan proceeded to tell him what to tell us - even though we were standing right in front of them! At this point, the manager Tuan told him to just cancel everything because we were "angry" - after being there for an hour and a half! The most disappointing aspect of our experience was how the manager left the representative who was trying to help us without any leadership, any sense of problem-solving, and instead seemed to have the expectation that he was going to take care of all of the other customers waiting because it was almost 6! Take home - Tuan needs improvement. Maybe he should go work at the tolls. Oh, I forgot - that job got eliminated! read more

Had a nice surprise here recently. My husband, mother-in-law, and I came in with some very complicated needs. Took extra time to help me clarify. Later a little more confusion arose and I found him at the Dania office and once again he cleared up a confusing circumstance between a personal and business account. What we thought we signed up for $120 or maybe $135 turned out to be $170. We had to deal with two months of headaches from getting our problems solved about the extra fees we have not been informed on. I went to the Verizon store on July 21, 2021 for help with transferring my apple watch to my wife's iPhone & purchased accessories for both of our watches. I also asked for an IPad 12.9 as well as a case for it. Upon returning home I opened the iPad box & found an IPad 11, not the 12.9 I had requested. I didn't activate it as it is significantly smaller than the 12.9 version. Went back to the store the following morning to return the iPad 11 & case & found out that there were no 12.9 IPads available in the store. Evidently the 11 had been substituted for the 12.9 without my being advised. During the return process I was charged a $50.00 restocking fee. I find this to be totally unfair as I was given the wrong item to start with and this charge should be removed. read more

I've been going here for years and it's always been a good experience. I went just recently when my phone died, and they helped me SO much!! I was able to set up a temporary phone while waiting for another one to arrive in the mail. Everything was complimentary and they even did their best to fix my phone but it was truly fried...but now I have my new Galaxy 9+, which a staff member even helped me connect to my car's bluetooth when I was having trouble. Went into Verizon store on Sterling Road, Dania to find resolution to a known issue with the screen on a Motorola Edge+. This is a phone I just got less than a week ago. Unfortunately, I did drop the phone and the back of it was cracked...no insurance...bad decision there on my part but that was besides the known issue with the screen. I asked if I could I get a replacement...no because there was physical damage...ok...is there a way to get it repaired through Verizon?...NO..."we don't fix phones here"...well, I am willing to work with someone...Verizon or Motorola to get it repaired...from there the utter lack of training and level of rudeness was clear...instead of knowing what the resolution process would be for a situation like mine in order to get the phone fixed, the Verizon representative just recommended I pay the entire $1k and buy another phone from her!!! They had no clue what the repair options were or how Motorola deals with this type of issue...nothing...here is the phone number to Motorola and you deal with it...very uncaring and rude attitude...the two young ladies that took care of me (including the store manager) had ZERO interest in assisting me with another option and their clearly sub-standard training was on display since they had NO detailed knowledge of repair options...all I wanted was detailed information, a workable solution other than buying another phone...all I got was an uncaring attitude and ZERO solution oriented information...this is the first time I have ever had such an experience at a Verizon store...definitely will make corporate aware of this training gap and the less than cordial behavior from the sales person and her manager at this store just standing there offering nothing but a phone number or buying another phone...these folks need some intensive training in processes beyond just selling phones and how to treat customers with respect , not to just angling for a sale...very insulting! read more

I was lied to 3x in order to talk me into changing from att. 1st Eric told me I would receive a 20% discount and free setup because of where I work. After signing up eric told me I would not receive 20% off because I was on the unlimited plan. Then eric told me that I could get $5 off per month if I sign up for auto pay and he signed me up only to find out 3 months later it must be a debit card. But I asked eric at the store if credit card was good. He said yes. The setup fee was finally paid after I called Verizon 3x first call they told me there was nothing setup for free and told me to call the store. The store told me it was all good and I would not be charged. After I was charged I called again andre after complaining they finally gave me 1 of 3 things I was promised of at the store. SO TO RECAP THEY WILL LIE, LIE, LIE TO GET YOU TO CHANGE. Also watch your data usage. I have 15gig hotspot and they cheat you on this too. Look it up online you'll see. I called them and they gave me $15 back for adding a gig of data when I had not used the hotspot. read more

My 2-year contract with Verizon just expired, and I was trying to keep my old cell and data plan while looking ways to possibly save a little money every month. After a little research it has came down to between T-Mobile and Verizon. Why? Well, Sprint really does not have "true" 4LTE. We do not get very good reception from AT&T where we live. After gotten a flyer from T-Mobile on the plan we would like to have, we decided to go to this store and see what Verizon can do. The Verizon rep. Adrian was great. He was very friendly and helpful explaining all different kinds of options to us. After we picked the plans we wish to have, it was a lot better than our old one and its only about $5.00 more per month than our old plan. And as for trade-ins, we both got $200.00 for our old iPHone 4S so the new phones are almost free. My wife stayed with Apple and picked the iPhone 5S. And I couldn't be more happier about my new HTC One. All in all Adrian spent a lot of time helping us and got us all hooked up with our new phones. He is extremely professional and I'd recommend anyone who decided 'to go with Verizon to go see him. read more
