He tells me he sees the order but they haven't received the phone. Told me to wait until Wednesday or Thursday. Now Tuesday night I get an email saying they canceled my order for non pick up. I had the best service from Nabi at Verizon today!! He handled at least five of my complicated problems with two of my phones and replaced my Apple Watch with a brand new one...I'm so happy! As you all know this is a lengthy and usually boring process wherever you go, but Nabi did all of this for me with a smile, kept me laughing, and entertained the whole time. He's also a great salesperson without being pushy. All of the people that work here are very nice and helpful. This weekend, was an eye opening experience to the financial manipulation, targeted, especially toward military veterans and elderly from the employees of the store. That would describe primarily entire community of Danvile, where our neighbors are Americans and have worked their entire lives, providing for their children and grandchildren. We have several widows as well in this town of Danvile that utilize Verizon as their choice, it's unfortunate as some of the employees that work for this location think they can take advantage of different promotions or incentives and charge set up fees passed the threshold amount to add to their commission or gross margin profit. I have also heard other stores waive these fees. By the way! I would also suggest and speak that I understand commission sales very well, but I think transparency and leading by service is the best way to capture market share as well as retain and bring back the former customer year after year because they have an amazing outstanding exceptional service with you. This is what helps several businesses because they made sure that the Customer experience and integrity were on the forefront. I just wanna make sure this is very clear in the city of Danvile. We will not tolerate unethical actions or financial manipulation taking advantage of others. We have amazing churches and communities that stand for the truth and big enough to tolerate this any further. "Don't use this location if you can avoid it! They'll definitely bait and switch you. I ordered the new iPhone through the Verizon app, and was told that it would be shipped to this store. While waiting for my new phone to arrive, I received an email that said my order's been canceled. When I called Verizon to see what happened, they told me that it was canceled because I didn't pick up the phone from this store. I never received any communication about picking up the phone from anywhere, & the agent said the store was supposed to contact me. After some back and forth they say the phone is here at this location. There was a mix up and my order shouldn't have been canceled. They tell me I can go pick it up. I drive all the way over there (which is not the closest store btw, the one near me wasn't even an option) and Chris was the only person working on Tuesday evening. He cancels my app/online order and says that he'll give me the full trade in price for my current phone. As we're getting ready to finish the transaction he totally pulls a bait and switch adding on activation and other administrative fees. Also, that I had to not only pay the full retail price but buy all the added accessories to avoid paying over $500 in fees. I never had to pay any additional fees to buy a phone from a Verizon store. Maybe it's because this store is smaller and they don't get much sales so they want to make up for it by adding fees and accessories that the customer shouldn't pay for. I talked to the verizon rep online and they said the only additional fees are sales tax and upgrade fee. Don't be fooled into paying all the extra fees. If I were to pay all the fees it would've been $500 to take the phone with fees and the $1,100 for retail price. read more

The representative scammed me into adding two new lines and provided incorrect pricing and did not share accurate information about pausing lines and costs and time limits. The absolute most frustrating experience I've ever had related to phones tldr; repeatedly scammed us and if we didn't ask questions we would have been charged for many things we never approved. Get there. Plan was to trade in an old phone and upgrade to a 14. The team prints off a "quote" which allegedly saves us money. But when unpacked it has taxes listed for all the "freebies" and activation fees. We explicitly state. We only want the phone. Jsut the phone. I ask for a quote and it says 0 due today (which I knew to be inaccurate since we always pay for the new phone tax on the way out but fine) and he shows us what our new monthly would be. He then says "let me get the stuff that goes with it". I'm thinking maybe this is Black Friday special and since we said "just the phone" and the quote said nothing due we proceed. He then says ok we're ready "put your credit card in". I ask how much are you charging and he says $400. So much for just the phone which should have been about $100 in taxes. He then says "we don't do that and you just didn't understand" and "would I feel better if he wrote it out for me". YES since then you'd be honest instead of trying to steal my money. He says he has to get permission and "calls someone" which was 5 seconds in the back and returns saying he'll do it this time since we didn't get it. Finally we get a credit charge of the amount we expect. We ask them to clear the old phone since the whole goal was to turn it in to apply to the monthly payments. He had moved onto another customer so I start doing it myself and he says "no you're taking that phone" (which was literally the whole point of why we went into a store was to apply the old phone to the cost of this one). We left and decided we'd deal with this elsewhere. Insult to injury: woke up, checked the bill, and he snuck in a $17/month insurance we DIDN'T ask for or see on the "quote". The quote is a joke. It should be illegal to keep this store open. read more

Long overdue review! This is my go-to store for iphone needs. On my most recent visit, I elected to upgrade from an iphone 5s to an iphone 6s+ 64GB. I got big hands so a phablet seems perfect! I've had this new phone for a month and so far I'm very happy with it. Customer service was great! I had to wait a few days for the phone but once it arrived the staff helped me setup and transfer my stuff from the old phone. They also offered a promotion for me: a free puregear case, screen protector, and best of all, a cordless Samsung U bluetooth headphone. Very sleek and excellent sound quality! Great for music, workouts, and streaming movies on tablets. Note Verizon no longer uses contracts. You wind up paying for the new phone spread-out through many months, and whatever increment if you decide to up the data plans. read more

Placed an online order to be picked up at this location. Received an email saying my order is ready for pick and the store hours are 10am-7pm. Arrived at the store at 630pm and the door was locked. There was an employee inside and he said the store closed at 6pm. Why is he still inside if the store close at 6pm? He said google was wrong for giving me the wrong hours. They do it in such a sly manner, if you are not paying attention, it is easy to look over. Well let me first start with that phones are totally over priced and I believe are schedule to stop working in the 2 year time frame. I went to this Store to see if they could help me get my phone to charge. I was told by Nawab that he could take my phone on a trade in and upgrade me. I owed $220 on my old phone and the trade in was $190 that he first quoted me, so he said I would only have to pay the difference. I thought ok, not what I wanted to do but did it. When he was inputing everything he said he made a mistake I was getting $310 instead of $190 I said great. So when everything was done he tells me that I have extra money left over so would I like a new case, and a charger and a bunch of other junk I did not need but I said fine. Then I get home get my phone going and I get a text message from my bank tat they charged $220 on my cc. I went back to the store and said, thought you applied my buy back to my old phone cost. He said He never told me that! I said are you kidding me, we had a whole conversation about it. I said you sold me a bunch of junk I did not need, what about my buy back he said that it was only a store credit. WHAT!!! What the F would I do with a store credit!!!!! Buy $300 worth of cases. This store is disreputable, and liars. I will never set foot in this store and I would never recommend them. He was very dishonest and I am disgusted at the level of service. Made a 5pm appointment through the Verizon website which was confirmed in both a text and email. I arrived at the store and was told they don't take appointments and only Verizon Corp stores do, however my confirmation clearly indicated the appointment was for this Victra location, a Verizon authorized dealer. There was a single employee working and several folks in front of me, and then was told by another patron that the previous customer took 1 hour to process. Tariq Khair lied to me and told me there was a 100.00 trade in fee. When I questioned him, he said "you can't get something for nothing, and it's the price of doing business". He said he would "waive" the fee if I purchased merchandise. The 100.00 fee was a scam to get me to purchase extra accessories, which most Verizon stores give you an accessory for free as a courtesy (i.e. Car charger, etc). I then drove to a corporate Verizon store where the manager explained to me that there is NO 100.00 trade-in fee and that I was lied to. When I took everything back to the 4g store in Danville, they talked down to me and tried to push me to purchase more product. Don't waste your time going here!! BEWARE! If you're thinking about buying a phone from Authorized Verizon Retailer Victra, think again. Here's my experience... On 10/2/21, I entered in an Agreement for an iPhone 13PRO, with a trade-in of my iPhone 10XR. I was out of contract with Sprint, and the promotion at the time featured an $800 credit towards a new phone purchase price of $1,010. To this day, the credit has not occurred, and I have been billed $294.64 (seven months of installments at $42.08 rather than $8.75). The amount is being billed automatically each month. Victra manager Chris said the correction would occur and not to worry, but that it would take 2 to 8 weeks. That was what he told me on 2/24/22, after I had first brought this matter to his attention on 2/8/22. Well, I'm a patient person, but I wanted the error to be corrected, so I visited the Victra Danville office on 3/22/22 to discuss the delay in the processing. After I was offered no specifics on when the error would be corrected, I requested the contact information of a senior level Victra manager. I was not given that information, however, and then I was asked to leave the office by Chris, who threatened to call the Danville Police. Wow, I really couldn't believe this was happening. I'm a 71-year-old woman, with a distinguished career in Aviation Finance. Never have I ever been treated in such an unprofessional manner! Chris called the Danville Police and reported that I was an irate customer who would not leave the premises. At some point, Chris apparently came to his senses. He called the regional district manager, spoke with her briefly, and then handed me the phone. After I explained my concerns, she assured me she would visit the Danville office on 3/24/22, look into the problem, and call me that afternoon. I handed the phone back to Chris and went outside. Soon, two Danville officers and one Contra Costa sheriff arrived. I told the investigating officer that I had spoken with the Victra district manager, and that I had been promised a solution. I apologized to all three officers for the manager's behavior. "You guys have a lot more important things to do than to oversee Victra's accounting deficiencies," I told them. By the way, as of today, 4/11/22, I have not received a call from the district manager or from anyone else at Victra, and the correction still has not been processed. Victra is going to have to work really hard to regain my trust and confidence. read more

They said they would not sell me an iPhone 7 without buying additional accessories. In addition, the staff was not knowledgeable on Verizon promotions and current plans. They said I would have to call my old carrier and buyout my contract over the phone, then come back and do a trade in. This is not the case. The old plan is automatically cancelled when the number is ported out. I went to Verizon corporate in Walnut Creek and they were knowledgeable about the products they sold. I signed up 3 lines and got 3 new phones. No additional accessories required. read more

Walk into the local branch and very nice young man greets me "hey dude how is it going" great I say... I had brought my brand new S21 Ultra phone for a cover and glass protector. He showed me a selection cheap smooth plastic covers as said that was the selection they had available. After I informed him that I prefer and was looking for a cover with some grip, he then said he had others in the back. The first one he brought out I liked and continued the purchase. He asked if I needed a charger, since the new phones do not bring one, and I told him that I already had many. He then said if I purchased one, he would work out a deal for the 3 items; I thanked him for letting me know and to go ahead and added to the order. He rang it up, then told me that the total was $285. WHAT? I asked how much the charger was and he said $135. I told him that one can be purchased anywhere between $12 and $29, he said he understood and was willing to discount it 30%. I told him to remove the charger, he said he understood and that pricing came from corporate and out of his hands. I then inquired on the price of the cover and the glass protector, he said the cover was $85 and the glass was $65. I told him I had just purchased the same glass for 2 other phones at a Verizon corporate store for $30 and similar plastic covers for less than $20. He again said he knew that was the case, but corporate dictated the prices. Before I canceled the complete order, he said he could discount the glass to $35 and the cover to $50. As much as I realized that I was still overpaying, I went ahead with the purchase. Obviously there are numerous issues with this establishment with questionable business practices at best. read more

5 stars may seem excessive but not for my situation. I have been a Verizon customer for almost 13 years and last month I upgraded. I received 2 iPhone 6's, one of which was a 64gig, and got a Samsung Galaxy 5s in blue for my family plan. I got lucky because all were in stock! Natalie was my representative and not only was she nice, but she was helpful and knowledgable. She set me up on the phones, downloaded and transferred my data, even though I could do it from home, then I was on my way! This particular store is small and their inventory may not be that of other stores, but it's a good place to start for the service and convenience alone. read more

Sad that I have to post a 2 star review for this retailer. For retailers who aren't actually Verizon corporate locations they shouldn't be able to put the logo up as a store front for Verizon. First off the woman I worked with in the store was great and helped get my trade ins done. I wish I had her name to give her a positive review. The trouble happened when I left the store. I picked up two new phones and they forgot to charge me for one of them. They called me when I was out with my family and away from my email and my receipt to confirm the mistake. I told the store manager who called me to call me the next day and it would give me time to look at the receipt and be in a place to provide payment for the phone they forgot to charge me for. He insisted on taking a payment right at that moment and then tried to scare me by saying that I would have to pay the full amount of the phone if I didn't pay it that night. I told him I wasn't comfortable paying for something in which I have no way of validating that what he was saying was true or not true without looking at my receipt. He kept pushing me and I ended up telling him I will not give him my credit card over the phone without looking at my receipt and that he was interrupting my time with my family. Once I was able to look at my receipt I also found out they had charged me $19.99 per phone for a setup fee and contact transfer etc.. which was never performed. I told them I wanted to have that refunded and they told me they can't remove it and I will have to call Verizon. I spoke to Verizon and they said it's a fee that the indirect retailer stores charge and it is not a fee Verizon charges their customers. So not only do I not appreciate being called and pressured to make a payment while out with my family and away from the receipts to validate the charges. I was also lied to the following day when I went to pay for the second phone. What's frustrating is this is a mistake the store made and they treated me as if I was the party at fault here and charged me for services I never received. If you can avoid this location I would recommend it. It's sad some good employees here have to be tarnished by others who represent this location including the store manager. read more

2017 my company was considering switching from AT&T to Verizon. We went into the local Danville Victa Verizon store thought was "Verizon inc." but actually a third-party Dealer. In 45 years of being in business thought I should know better to fall for "used car sales pitch's " "fast-talking" don't worry will always be here Clichés. Over a years, just looking in there for amusement like watching that old fashion movie "Tin Man" always new faces! Because probably promising their salespeople "dreams of grandeur" doesn't take long for them to realize it's hard to promise anything pressured to follow hard sell management tactics. We finally got most of our credits from corporate. so highly recommend Verizon Inc. which is an only short drive down the freeway and then you're doing business directly with Verizon with all the same bells and whistles but with accountability. Our first amount of time spent of a year trying to handle our issues, we could have taken a short drive down Freeway in either direction that would be less expensive for customer service insurance. They took up so much of my time that finally compelled to write this experience. After 45 years, I think competition is great can teach us what not to do. So the $80 that they still owe us is a valued reminder. FYI We were reimbursed from Verizon directly for the sum of around $500 plus but all the emails and time spent was not worth that dollar amount to recover this, it was a matter of principle. read more
