Ordered a phone today. I called after I never received an email about my pickup. They informed me it was cancelled. They didn't have the stock. Told me it takes 24 hours to cancel. But they charged me already. Account still shows pending. They informed me they were not going to call about the cancellation. I was just going to get an email.... I asked about shipping it instead and he informed me I would have to reorder it online. Pointless. That's what I did the first time. That email never came. The guy on the phone just sounded like he hated life. I wish they had better customer service. read more

Shawna and Diana have consistently provided great customer service. I went in to switch from another provider and get new phones for my family and while our situation became a bit tricky, Shawna and Diana went above and beyond to get it all worked out for us. They ensured I understood everything before I left the store and they worked hard to make sure I had the best promotional plan. While I was there, another customer was there and didn't like their privacy policy. He began getting louder and louder and more and more rude while I and a few other customers patiently waited. Shawna and Diana handled the situation with respect and grace, but the other customers finally drove that rude guy out of the store. Be careful when getting a new phone from this store. Just recently went into pre-order an upgrade of iPhones and the shady salesperson apparently added AT&T phone insurance to my preorder without my consent or even knowing. She never mentioned insurance at all during my upgrade procedure while I was in the store. (Even if she did, I would have declined since I have insurance through my credit card that I use to pay my monthly bill with). Reading the other past reviews here, looks like someone else reported this happening at this same store as well. What a bunch of crooks. Stay away from this shady place. Edit: The saga gets even more ridiculous. I went back to the store to get the insurance dropped. Apparently, a girl that works here told me the person who processed my upgrade was the regional manager. So, yes, this is a standard practice it seems for this chain of authorized AT&T stores. Furthermore, the female employee with eyelash extensions working when I went back kept trying to tell me that the add-on, which is called AT&T Protect Advantage, is not insurance. She says they sell a separate insurance called Assurance. LOL. I literally showed her the webpage from AT&T describing the insurance details of AT&T Protect Advantage and she's trying to argue with me that it's not what I think I'm reading. The salesperson told me I would have to wait a half hour for her to resolve the issue as she was helping someone else. I went to this location to pick up my online purchase. Two gentleman who were working there were quite nice and professional. It was seemless and quick. Safety wise it was ok,too. This is an AT&T store where we received the best customer support ever. The credit should go to Mario. Hope there is only one Mario. We needed a new phone and my husband's iPhone was so old that there were several complications. It took forever to transfer data from his old phone to a new phone. We were there for more than three hours (painful long) but Mario was patient and kind to help us. While he was helping us, he continued to answers the questions from his colleague about other customers. There were several times a rush of customers coming in to the store, yet he stayed calm and attentive to ever in the store. Thank you, Mario!!! read more

I stopped by this local Danville store a few weeks ago and sadly, they underwent a personnel change. Andrew and Nicole no longer work there so I do wish them the best. Avoid this Danville authorized dealer!!' Purchased a phone at the San Ramon store for my daughter's birthday on Saturday. I was told that as long as we did not remove the clear wrapping, we could return the phone for a different color - without the $55 restocking fee charged if the packaging is removed. When I went to the Danville store to exchange on Sunday, the manager was eager to help but also assured me that I would need to pay the $55 and that "he is a manager, knows the rules and not sure why I was misled". He continued to ask for my information while slipping in comments to my daughter about how "she is lucky because he only has one left". Someone else mentioned SLEAZY SALES TACTICS. Not cool!! These guys are lie to sell you anything. We had a bad experience where they sold us an e-sim saying its $40 when it was over $129. When you go back to the store, they say you can cancel it. Well, thats after 2-3 weeks of using the phone and giving out your phone number and having that number printed on your business carda. read more

The staff was hilarious. They put the film screen protectors on our new phones for us, too. Came in for a new phone. I had a iPhone 6 and was going to buy an 11. Clerk said they could not backup and program the new phone in the store. I had to go home and do it there or buy iCloud service then they would do It in the store. I'm not very computer savvy, it felt like they were forcing me to buy a service I didn't want just to get my 6 transfer to the 11. Then I couldnt pay for the phone in total. I have NEVER written a bad review on Yelp but I could not let this one pass by. I have gone to this store twice in the past and had the most wonderful customer service until today. Vishall should lose his job immediately. I have never dealt with anyone so rude in my life. I have been an AT&T customer for at least 25 years and have always had outstanding customer service. My daughter works for corporate in San Ramon and I always praise her company's service, however, this guy has to go. I got a new Iphone 7 and couldn't figure out why my battery was still draining so quickly. Terrible customer service, do not shop here. Went in to buy iPhone XS Max, they didn't have any in stock but the salesperson ordered me one and sold me an xs max case. They assured me the phone would arrive the next day, it actually took 5 days and the wrong phone was ordered. I went in to the store to return it and was told I had to go to the San Ramon corporate store to return it. San Ramon corporate store couldn't take the return and told me the Danville clerk was either lying or grossly incompetent. I bought a new iphone to replace my old one which crashed. Yelped the AT and T places in my area and discovered the Danville location had pretty good reviews. Well, I'm thoroughly impressed with the customer service offered by Austin. He was patient, knew his "stuff" and went out of his way to help me set up my phone and transfer the info from my old phone. Truly a pleasant gentleman. I normally like to go to AT&T to get my iPhone upgrades. But I've also used Apple, Best Buy and Target. After getting totally frustrated with the online order process at AT&T, I went in search of a better solution. I gave this location a shot and I am so happy I did. It was simple. I did have to wait, but I always have to wait at other locations as well. And, given that this is Christmas time, totally expected. They had credits for accessories that made it totally worth it. We had contacted Customer support to suspend our cell phone service for 1 line. They informed us that by suspending our phone line we would not incur any charges. However they continued to charge us 30$/month and we paid nearly $120 . Every time I call customer service they put us on long hold and make us go in circles. I request your help to resolve this matter and get our amount refunded. We have now had to switch to Verizon so that we dont have to deal with ATT customer service. read more

Very pleased with manager who took the time to help me while dealing with a cranky and somewhat unstable woman who was being unreasonable, and who was keeping him from assisting other customers as well as he might. Other people were waiting and the customer was rude to him for reasons completely out of his control and unrelated to his business. Did he snap? No. Did she leave? No. He was very patient with her and tried to help me while also calming her and assuring other customers that he would be assisting them. This man was good! Don't go here. First off the two gentleman where supper unprofessional. I guess one of them lost the password for a phone on a sticky note and began swearing flipping paper everywhere and blaming his other coworkers for loosing his sticky note. I walked in to get the new 8. Wanted black and they where out so the guy offered a white one instead. He said a customer returned it but it wasn't opened. That was a lie the iPhone box was opened and the phone was already used. The reason why this customer returned this phone was the faulty keyboard. The keyboard doesn't work at all l. I'm now stuck with this phone because I'm past the 15day mark. Do not go here it's very unprofessional and a joke. These people lie and don't care for the customer.
