I almost never write yelp reviews, but the service was exceptionally poor in this store. I went in with a phone that turned off and would not turn on to trade in because I had just received this phone two weeks prior from the same store. The manager, Timmothy, decided that it was damaged and when I asked to see the policy he told me that it was up to him to decide if it was damaged or not. His employees were side eyeing him so I assume that his power trips are common. He also refused to give me the address to an apple store to try something there. His employee even said "Tim, stop being this way." I know this "damaged phone" was in good enough condition to trade in because I went to another version store and the manager there took it and traded it in 10 minutes. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would, if your looking for customer service maybe try another location. Chris, Was super rude, walked in and instead of greeting me upon entering he just gave me a stare.. I then told him I just needed to activate a new phone. He got me checked in asked for my ID, I told him I had my digital ID from the my Colorado ID app. He then told me I needed a physical ID. I had to ask 3 times if they accepted anything else, it wasn't until then That he said they accept passport. Left came back with the passport, he worked on the phone. Didn't say a word. He got my new phone activated I just needed to transfer everything myself. He didn't offer to help or anything just said my phone was ready I asked for his manager... she was no better I explained my experience. She also just stared at me awkwardly and apologized. Also didn't have much to say I get home and was having issues getting the new phone going. Returned for the 3rd time! Had to ask for someone else to help me this time, then he stated he needed $30 to help me. That if he helped me out anymore he'd have to charge me! Even after I also told him this was my 3rd time trying to get help. Horrible. Confrontational goon who was helping me told me my jetpack wouldn't work. Called Verizon and they confirmed it works and set it up with no hassle. Just avoid going in person at all costs, they are actually the worst to deal with, and very unhelpful. Wish I had the guys name who lost them a customer, oh well! read more

I also had a terrible experience at the Verizon store on South Colorado Blvd when I went in with an iPad that would not charge and questions about my new iPhone. Rather than even look at it, I was told to go to Geek Squad at the Best Buy across the street. The workers, including the big guy who looked to be in charge, was more concerned with the sports hero who had recently been in the store. The four men all sat behind the table looking at their own phones and talking among themselves, while I sat on a bench trying to work through the problem on my own. Terrible experience - i visited early and there weee no customers - empty store and staff made it clear they didn't want to help out - I would have made a purchase but Terrell (while biting and cleaning his fingernails with his teeth while seated behind the counter and talking across the store to me) was rude, remarkably short and directed me to go online to compare two products instead of helping me, while the other "advisor" was busy on his phone. I could never survive my own retail business with this type of poor customer experience. read more

I lost my phone three years ago, went to this store to buy a new one and the salesperson was very excited to sell me a $50 screen protector because if it ever cracks all I have to do is bring it in and they will exchange it. I did that last week and the children working there have absolutely zero customer service training or experience. One child basically said well I did not tell you that so it wasn't me, and that was it. He said you have to file a warranty claim, which I was not originally told or I would have registered the screen protector. I left and became angry about the lie I was told and went back in and talked to two children who were sitting at a desk laughing at their tablets and doing nothing and they said the same thing. Well it wasn't me so I can't help you. I called customer service to file a complaint against this store and since she was able to find the purchase information, but since so much time has passed I am not able to register the product now. She gave me a credit on my bill for $19 so I can buy a new protector which is what I would have done in the first place if the salesperson had not lied about the exchange of a broken protector. read more

I ordered a new phone ipad and tower and was told I could pick it up on Sunday. Came to store and was treated so rudely by the front person and then a little white boy with attitude of how stupid are you. They haven't been delivered when I have emails confirming they are in the store. They told me to come Back. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I've had Verizon for a very long time and usually I get phenomenal customer service. Except for today when I walked in and was trying to explain my issue and was rushed to give them a short explanation. All they did was put me on the phone with Verizon support and when the call was over, none of the associates followed up to make sure that everything was taken care of before leaving the storefront. A lot of the associates were sitting in groups, talking and laughing instead of paying attention to their customers. read more

Worst experience EVER. I was ripped off by some incompetent rep at Verizon wireless who wore fake blue color contacts. She is like I can help you trade in your phone and get a new one. She transferred a $225 balance to my watch I paid off years ago. My cell bill went from $144 to $188. Shoppers beware of the thieves that work at this location. When you call Verizon they state it is a one time charge but my watch is still showing I owe $225!!! I was told my cell bill would not change. I specifically asked to get the phone that will not change my monthly bill. My bill didn't change until months later. The lying reps don't tell you that you are receiving a promo for several months but the bill will go higher!!! LIARS LIARS THIEVES. IF YOU WANT FUCKED IN THE ASS GO TO VERIZON!!!! read more

I went in to go return my old phone for the new phone deal and was treated rudely by the person helping me. Not only did he ask me multiple times if I did the service at this store he treated me as if I was stupid and wasn't specific in any of the questions he asked. Only to find out that nobody there could help me out and that the deal I had signed up for may not even be available to me and I need to call online. I'm not the only person to have a bad experience at this store my roommates have gone here and every time it's like we're asking too much by asking the employees to do their jobs, or at the very least act like they know what their doing as the people who have helped me appear like they don't want to be there or seemed annoyed to try to help customers. I only use the service because it's reliable, but the people who work here are the worst part of dealing with Verizon. read more

I am writing because I received a negative remark on my credit score due to Verizon's inadequate customer service. I had someone come out to my home and sign me up for an internet service with a free trial in October of 2023. I never unboxed nor set up the modem. It was a nightmare just to contact someone to get my account information to just cancel the service because the gentleman that signed me up had my address wrong and because I never registered, it was hard to verify my account. I called 20 times between December 2023- March 2024 trying to get a return box sent to me with the appropriate labels. I tried to return the device before the trial ended and was told for a month and a half that you all would be sending me return packaging Mind you, I went to the closest Veriozon store and tried to physically turn the device in and was rejected. After the 20th time calling to check the status of this box that I needed to use, I begged the rep to just email me the label. They did. March 27th I went to the UPS store and shipped the device. I call Verizon and provided the tracking number which they documented and confirmed they received in the device in Texas on March 29th. I was told that the device fee of $200 and the bill of $217.62 would be removed from my name and it would be zeroed out. April and May i received a bill and called several times to get this resolved. Fast forward to June. I got another bill and called again and was assured that the $217 was to be removed. A couple days later, I got a notification that my credit score dropped due to a negative remark. It is the Version. My Score dropped a substantial amount. So much so that I can not buy the home that I was planning for. I called again and was not very nice to the person I chatted with and they transferred me. I was told by the person that I was transferred to, that the person that I chatted with last week did not submit the correct ticket to the correct department to close this. I was told that he filled the correct ticket but there was nothing they could do about my negative impacts on my credit score. I tried for months calling and providing everything i needed to and Version has no accountability for their error. read more

Update: this issue has been resolved! I went in to buy a JBL charge 4 from this store and when I got home it ended up being a used charge 3 in a charge 4 box. I went in and talked to the solutions manager and told them I just wanted the right product and they pretty much accused me of putting the wrong product in the box. I literally just asked to receive what I paid for. There's a reason why this store only has 2 stars I would highly recommend not to go to this store. read more

5G service Verizon is advertising 300 MB's speed on their 5g home internet service. Don't believe it! We live directly across the street from a tower, the receiver is perfect line of sight and we average 30-50. We have had 4install and service calls and literally hours on chat and phone, but no resolution. Our xfinity service always ran 100 MB's for half the price. Guess we'll have to go through the hassle of going back to that. read more

The employee himself was knowledgeable and helpful, but that does not change the fact that I needed to wait so long in a very uncomfortable waiting area. This week I spent over 2 hours of my life and saw the "Lincoln" movie. It educated me. It interested me. It was a really enjoyable experience. This week I spent over 2 hours of my life at the So. Colo. Blvd Verizon store. It frustrated me. It wasted my time. It sucked. . . and the pain continues. I therefore conclude that a better usage of my time would be to go see a movie than to buy a phone from Verizon. So is that the end of the story? . . . No. It's not the end of the story, because I already bought a phone from them. That's how I wasted over 2 hours of my time. (My honey had tried out the Droid Razr and decided to trade "up" for an IPhone 5, so I inherited her 2 week old Razr). And now I've learned that they didn't transfer my contacts from my old phone like they said they did; they didn't wipe the Razr SD card clean of my wife's contacts and phone accts so I'm getting her emails but not mine; and I can't get back my old phone with all of my contacts and saved phone accts on it. Satan: "Welcome to telecommunications hell, David. How may we screw you up?" Me: "Uh, make me deal with Verizon?" Satan: "Hot-cha-cha! You gottit, Bozo! Oh, and have a Merry Christmas. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah . . . " P.S. Mr. Verizon: I've shared this with all my dear Yelp friends and I hope they all give you charcoal for Xmas. Yours, truly, David P.P.S. Two star average is generous. Today the service rep was pushy, rude and wouldn't answer simple direct questions. A pathetic display of salesmanship comes to mind after walking out the door.
