Do not use their dishwasher repair service. The installers are totally inept and unable to install the dishwasher correctly. Best Buy charged me for the installation even though I had to call the installers out three times. They were still unable to do it. I had the dishwasher reinstalled twice Three times that they did it. Save yourself some money and have them deliver it but find out who the installer recommended by brand of dishwasher and use them instead. I recommend Kimball appliance. read more

Manager Robert swears everyone loves Best Buy and he doesn't get complaints. Guess he hasn't seen the two star rating on Yelp! My mom and I came here for curbside. Got there, after driving quite a ways, to find the products were not available. Went inside and asked the guy at the door if he could check. He didn't know how. Got Robert, the manager. Robert was rude, had no personality and was NOT helpful in anyway. Didn't know how to check when the products may be back in (since can't go by inventory online). Didn't offer to check other stores. They must have been pretty desperate for employees to make him a manager; lazy and not the smartest! You try to shop local stores so they stay in business, rather than doing Amazon, but these the big stores don't care about their customers anymore and customer service seems to be horrible or nonexistent most places. So why not stay at home in the comfort of your house ordering from Amazon and not have to deal with rude people!?! One of the reasons why I don't purchase anything from B B is they are so hard ass with their return policies. They gave me a lot of grief returning a external hard drive two days after their "return policy' allowed it a few years ago and I vowed never to return to one of their stores again. Unfortunately my daughter bought a TV from them, and found that she needed a new full motion TV wall bracket, which she purchased and waited for me to arrive in Denver to install it. When I arrived we found that the bracket was not the right type, that it was a ridged one and they sold her the wrong one. When we when to return it, and get the correct one it they said it had to be ordered. We went to customer service and were told by two (2) managers that their "two week" return policy had expired and they would not take the unopened TV bracket back, but made the "magnanimous gesture" of giving my daughter a $90.00 dollars store credit which she will never use. Thinking about coming here? Order it from Amazon. Came in on Jan 28 (6:30PM) to return a microwave I ordered on Instacart (I know, who does that - I do!). So I had the person at the door tell me to go to the customer service counter. I get there and the person is like, why are you here, go get the item. And I explain we were told to come here first but sure. Someone else walks up, offers to go get the microwave. I'm like great, things are getting better. We're waiting and the guy comes back with it. He starts the return then gets stuck on the return since it's through Instacart. Eventually I had 3 guys up there trying to help. Explain the situation, something about taxes and how Instacart is gonna pay me my taxes but they will give us the microwave refund. They didn't do a great job, even though they were talking down to me and looking at me like I was stupid. They seemed pretty proud to do such a horrible job. Eventually a man with a beard, who was huddled with 2 other people, doing nothing, explained it to me - he looked very annoyed but he was able to do it. He did it in 1 sentence. While his customer service was not the best, I commend him for being so concise and clear. So now I'll have to deal with the Instacart refund, but that was... not fun. LIARS !!! Problems. I ordered an HD antenna to be picked up. I got a message the same night it was ready the next day. I drove over to pick it up arriving just before 10am. Was surprised to see the store didn't open until 11. Caught someone going in the exit - asked if I could just pick up my ready and waiting antenna. NO!!! I left empty handed. I went to buy a keyboard for $140. The guy selling it to me said - get a membership and we will give you a $20 discount. I said "no." He said you can cancel anytime in the next 60 days. I said ok. 10 days later I came in with my computer to get it cleaned out. The geek squad offered me $180 of in-store credit but said I could probably get $300 from ebay or FB marketplace. I said - I do not need it for anything else. They said we will scrub it for free (usually costs $100). I said ok. The following week, i called to cancel. They said "once you cancel, you can't change your mind." I said "why would I do that?" They said "ok, we have now cancelled it and you get $25 back. I said "what!!? I paid $179. They said that is all you get back. I said - ok then i won't cancel and will try to figure out how to use it. They said. No good. you would have to pay $179. I then said "this is too much hassle. give me the $180 store credit and I will try to figure out how to use BEst buy for one thing or another. They said "No. your computer is worth zero. I said - if it is worth zero, why would I have you scrub it. They said - maybe you thought you could get something for it. I said - only because you told me I could. My local Best Buy. 2 months ago I bought a stove here, about $500. Ordered delivery. Was offered a promotion if I applied for their credit card. $50 off, or no interest/payment for x number of months. I took the latter. A week later the stove arrived damaged, both sides were bent in and the top section with the controls had been bent resulting in chipped enamel. I was told I could take the stove and request a replacement. I did accept the stove. After actually seeing what I had bought (BB had zero whit stoves in stock) I realized that it was unacceptable, basically the cheapest stove imaginable, non-locking burnet knobs, no storage etc. I contacted BB customer service (extremely difficult) and arranged, after maybe 5 phone calls, to have a replacement stove delivered, a different more expensive model. It arrived, it's much better than the original POS. We're good, except I just received a BB bill which I opened to discover I'm behind in a payment! How can that be? I signed up for the no/no, pretty standard deal, what gives? Called BB customer service, again, only to be told it is no INTEREST for a year, but I must make payments!! I paid the entire amount and am closing my BB credit card and if possible, I'd rather get a root canal than ever set foot in a BB again! read more

I enjoyed my run here at this Best Buy, located by an old friends apartment complex. This is one of the bigger locations and we came here upon looking for phone cases and other electronic devices. I ended up buying a Kate Spade phone case, but for a whopping $30.00!! It wasn't a steep deal, however, I enjoyed the color and design of the phone case. Best Buy has gone downhill in over the years and unfortunately, whenever my AppleCare is in play, I always go to a nearby Apple Store to look at my phone issues! I don't trust Best Buy for that. It ended up being a call center HQ where someone who is not physically in store will tell you what's available. But we all know what a computer inventory says and what is physically in store is not always accurate. No surprise, after being told they did have the product in store and driving all the way there, they did NOT have the product. Came to the store for a pair of headphones, printer, and a Bluetooth speaker. Looked around for a few minutes for someone to help as all of the headphones are locked up. Nobody was around so I went to the customer pickup counter to ask for assistance, the guy at the counter called for help and then continued to stand there doing nothing. I waited for 15 minutes within 30 feet of the guy I asked for help for someone to come. Nobody came by, so I finally went back to ask if there was anyone coming. I was told there was no one available with keys. I was planning to spend nearly $1,000 at this store, on items I had already picked out online and checked their availability. This company completely botched the release of the limited edition Halo Xbox. We were all told "online only" then around 2am they changed it to "in store only." They opened hours before their regular time and gave tickets to people lucky enough to get in line. All information that was never made public until a few hours before the doors opened. This process would have been pretty efficient at getting Xbox's to people that actually want one if the information was actually released properly. So disappointed in how this was handled. This was the first stop on an afternoon of errands. I wanted to look at the TV I was about to buy and possibly walk out with it if they had it in stock. Fast forward walking around the video department for 15+ minutes. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb walked past us THREE times chatting about Battlestar Galactica. Ok, that is an awesome TV show but do you know if you don't sell anything, you will probably be out of a job soon? We walked from one end of the department to another. At one point, the entire department gathered to lounge around and chat with each other. (check out the picture) That's when my fiancee walked off cause she got frustrated. I finally received help when someone saw me fiddling around with a 55" LG that was on sale/closeout. I finally got some answers just to find out the store didn't have the size of the TV I wanted nor could they sell me the 55" for the same price as the 50". No biggy, that's why I can hop on a website and buy it. My experience with this store went from bad to why do I even bother to come here? There are definitely other locations close by that will treat you much better and acknowledge you. You're not losing money because people are trying it then buying online. You're not making sales cause your staff doesn't give a shit about their jobs since they're not on commission so they can collect a paycheck no matter what. Time to rethink your retail plan.
