Showed up to upgrade my 15 pro to the 17 pro. I informed the person who checked me in of this, and they asked me to wait. No problem. An hour later (only two customers besides myself in the store, and workers were on their phones and would disappear for 20 minute periods) I finally got to speak to a customer service representative who told me they didn't have any iPhone 17 pros in stock, and I'd have to call customer service and order one. I asked why they did not tell me that an hour ago when I first arrived, and they said "We can't tell customers about our stock", yet also said "Maybe if you had called earlier we could have told you". I am beyond pissed, and will be leaving Verizon once I move. These clowns need to be replaced. read more

I wouldn't give Verizon a single star. I came to two stores today and the service in both were awful. I called down to the store 5 minutes before my arrival and the associate said to come down. I was greeted by the store manager telling me he wouldn't be able to see us today. I'm done with this trash company. and this location is awful read more

Brandon helped me. His customer service skills were extremely poor. He was not helpful with getting any of my questions answered or helping me reach my only goal for coming in today. I had to ask for his manager in order to get any assistance. I asked him several times what my options were around getting new service and new devices and he assured me that what I wanted could be done. During the process that he could not explain correctly, it was revealed that what I wanted could not be done. After he realized he could not fulfill my request he walked away, leaving me at the desk in which he was working with me and help another customer. He never spoke to me again and I left the store. This was an acceptable interaction and a complete waste of my time. I have been a Verizon customer for well over 10 years and I have never had such a poor experience. I was ready to start new service and purchase a device today and Brandon's lack of professionalism has left me to reconsider my choice in service provider. read more

Horrible experience. Checked in with young guy. He said one ahead of me. About 4 people came behind me. I waited patiently but they took 2 people behind me and ignored me. I left without being helped. I was wanting to switch from spectrum to Verizon. I also listened to big problems people behind were having with Verizon and decided I like spectrum. They sure treated me a lot better. So rude and Verizon customers angry. One lady said so bad here she thought they were planning on closing this location. read more

The people here were very friendly, I'll give them that. My mom, who has zero tech skills, came here to buy a smartphone. I told her what to buy, but when she got here things changed. The sales guy convinced her to buy something different. The phone also came with a tablet. They set up the devices for her which was nice. She wouldn't have been able to do it herself. The bad news is a came back with her to help her exchange her stuff and get new stuff. They charged her restocking fees for the tablet and phone. Technically they were the ones that opened the devices. They also convinced her to buy something other than the initial request. $70 in restocking fees because they sold the wrong stuff is simply ridiculous! I just feel like they ripped my mom off. read more

Each visit here surpasses the last visit with each getting worse and worse. Horrible. Most recent visit, they wanted to charge me an additional $30 for putting on the screen protector that I purchased from them. I had never heard of that and they said it was a new Verizon policy. I asked them to show it to me and they pointed to a sign and I told them that was for complete transfer of old phone data to a new phone and it did not mention screen protector. I expressed my displeasure. The store is no longer a "go getter" store. All young men sitting on their butts not a single one getting off of their chair in any of my recent visits. I called customer service and they said they never charge additional for putting screen protectors on. I ended up at the Verizon on Glenn School Road and it could not have been a better experience. No mention of an additional charge installing a screen protector. (I know, why didn't I do it myself as I have done in the past but never manage to get that last micro-bubble out and it bugs me). Jameson took care of me at the new store and could not have been better. He had more energy and polish than all 4 "brothers" at the North Pointe store. read more

I went in to buy an iPhone. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes, I asked the manager if one of the 4 Verizon employees standing around not helping anyone would be able to help me. I was told that they wouldn't. When I walked out, the manager shouted at me: "come back when it is less busy". I don't understand the following: a) Why they employ people to stand around and do nothing b) Why they didn't have many extra staff working due to it being the day after the iPhone 5s was released. The friendliest, most helpful, person in the store was the Time Warner Cable rep who was trying to get people to sign up for TWC. read more

I recently bought a high end smart phone at full cost, a case and a temper glass screen protector at this store. 5 weeks after I bought the phone a chrome button from the case fell off. When I came they said that I wouldn't replace the case because I dropped it. I asked to see the manger. I asked them how they knew I had dropped it (which I hadn't). He immediately said that wasn't he was saying. Then he said that there was "use" on the case so he couldn't give me a warranty exchange. Of course there is wear, I have had the case for 5 weeks! I have the case to take the wear and tear so the phone won't. He just didn't want to do it and he show have said so. This store doesn't realize that their competition is the Apple Store. I support over 300 hundred Apple devices at my school. Apple NEVER would have treated me like that. I'll be shopping someplace else next time. read more

With more than 35 years in the Customer Service business, to say I expected more is an understatement. Not only did they not help me with clearly pointed out network issue, they refused to acknowledge the T2000 phone was the problem at all. After 8 phone calls to the Support Center, the system works fine, and with a few specific questions, and relating of my story from experience at the Retail Location, Verizon offered and I accepted a few hundred dollars in credits. Rule of thumb, dont waste your time going into the North Pointe location, as the Team Clueless group is clearly in charge. read more

Verizon is a great company and has great support people in their calls centers but the folks in the stores are useless and rude. The folks at this store are so dumb they couldn't punch their way out of a wet paper bag. They seem to think they are selling a national treasure and seem to drown in their pathetic self importance. They waist your time while they try and convince you how smart they are. But you must take a breath and realize they are bottom of the rung employees who probably can't find any other employment. Just got out of the store. What a horrible experience. Was arrest for six months to a year pay Verizon for me to upgrade my phone I currently have a iPhone 5s. Did not want to get a new phone because they were too big. They kept telling me I was qualified for their upgrade plan. But when I finally gave in and tried to get a new phone at the store. I was told that I could not. They wanted me to pay FULL RETAIL price for a new phone. I told them the reason I was in here is because Verizon kept trying to sell me on the new upgrade plan. They said well we don't have anything to do with Verizon's Financial department. A CYA line. Seems to be common nowadays. Finally after some arguing they told me that they can call financial services from there. The reason I could not do it on my own phone, it's because my calls are being dropped, and my service is bad. LTE shows up when I am not making phone calls, but goes away when I am making phone calls. Show this to the representative, and he pretended that he did not see it. I showed him again in front of a witness, and then he admitted that he saw that I lost LTE service. I asked why he wasn't honest before, he had no response. I asked him if he could fix it. He said no I can't. I need to talk to tech-support. After more arguing, he finally said oh, OK, there is something I can do, let me try a new SIM card. It's funny what happens when you stand up for yourself and one of these places, and don't just take their crap as gospel. So he dialed the number in the store, which she said was a direct number. So of course after waiting for about 5 to 10 minutes for a human to get on the phone, that human told me that I was speaking to the wrong department. Manager finally came over and asked what number he dialed, she said that was the wrong number, and I have the correct number. This kid obviously did not know what he was doing, so I asked if I could deal with her, the manager instead and she flat out said no. Whatever happened to customer service? So here I am writing a review which it looks like a lot of bad reviews have been written about this place. My advice. Stay away from this Verizon store actually, stay away from most Verizon stores. But this one is the worst out of all of them. read more
