Ignore Verizon's responses, it's a bot, as is Ron's supervisor, Reid. No matter what I said, Reid-Bot kept saying variations of, " Did you sign a contract?" Not even a creative bot. Ron Mills, business account manager in the metro area, is an unscrupulous, slick talking man but his supervisor, Reid, when I finally was able to get in contact with Ron's supervisor after three attempts on filling out their complaint forms, said, "you signed a contract." I simply could not get the transfer code from Xfinity for my paid-off iPhone 13ProMax THAT DAY so Ron said, "let's just swap out a phone for you." And it was a standard iPhone 14, (much poorer camera features.) THEN THEY TOOK MY FULLY PAID OFF iPhone 13 PRO MAX AND SHIPPED IT AWAY BEFORE CONTRACTS WERE EVEN SIGNED. I WAS STUCK. I put it on auto pay (who checks those payments? Oops), and come to find out, I'm stuck with a three-year contract. Two years into it I still owe $1000. He had me swap out my paid off phone for a three year contract? As I asked Reid, his boss, "what normal healthy person would do a contract like that? If he can't see well enough to literally read the fine print?" He wouldn't answer. I asked the same questing in three variations, including a yes/no response. Crickets. I am visually impaired, as I told them at the time - it was obvious. Ron said, "it's the best deal you can get," and his rude boss, Reid, finally getting back to me, belligerently kept saying "you signed a contract." He had no compassion for a mentally and physically impaired senior. If Ron Mills is working at this store that day you want to set up a business account, DON'T, find another location if you want to get a business account. Or better yet, another carrier, ) Ron services several stores.) Ron even had me make up a business so he could work with me. All I wanted was a second phone line. Getting a new phone had been a big annoying do-to, as the first was stolen from the mail and I was suffering from an injury, but we left relieved. One of the worst ! They have NO BUSINESS being in " business".... Could I be made to feel any Less welcome as a 20+ year customer? Try a greeting- check in system to start. Maybe you should visit an Apple Store where they encourage an appointment on line and if you don't and arrive without one, they greet you and give you a time estimate that's reasonable, this place is slacker paradise. NO ONE is in a hurry; no one is trying to resolve an issue and expedite to help the next customer. It feels a bit like they are conducting education classes like at Apple but they aren't. They can't wait to shut the doors and shutter the store. I might as well go to Amazon like we do for everything else. Stop wasting my time and yours - make sure they go out of business and make room for people with basic customer support. They are so rude and arrogant! Met at the door and told there would be an hour wait. Glared at me as if to say, "So please leave." I could wait, so told him what I wanted (set up the new phone I bought from them) and he said that now costs $29.95. I stared at him. "I know it used to be free, but now it costs $29.95," he said. I said that the person I bought the phone from on their website didn't tell me that. He said that the customer service people usually aren't up-to-date on such things. I bought my last phone from this guy, so I know he's been there a long time. He seems to be unaware that his has become a very competitive business. There are lots of other options available, and after many years with them , I will no longer choose Verizon. BTW, given the responses to other feedback here, they really don't care. Bye read more

Unbelievably rude!!! I had a great customer service experience at Verizon two weeks ago buying my partner a new phone. It was an early Saturday morning just after opening. However I just popped in at 5 pm on a weekday. Empty store. Worker (wht guy dark hair with tats) greeted me. I said 'Hey, I'm meeting someone here to give them my phone. Can I wait over here for a few minutes?' He said No, that's a 3rd party transaction and you need to go outside. I said ok. And started toward the door. I just have a question. No, you need to exit now. Yes i understand. I just want to know if they want to ask you if the phone is unlocked with verizon can they do that? You need to go outside. Yes i will. I went to this store to get some help with a malfunctioning SIM card. I could not get a reservation or check in with an inoperable phone. They put me right in the queue without a problem. Quickly it was my turn and the rep cheerfully fixed the phone on the spot. Excellent service. read more

When a company such as Verizon says "Get a new iPhone 13 On Us!"; red flags should go up. 'On us' typically means they are buying it for you. That is just not true. You might get lucky and get $800 on a trade and pay the difference between trade-in and cost of iPhone 13; over the course of a 3-year contract. I therefore call this BS. VZW, you should know better. There was a court case in San Diego where a man in the 70s took a Ford dealer to court and won a vehicle because the dealer claimed one could get a vehicle for a song and a dance. read more

I went in to pick up a phone for my son. I had the print out (which did not mention the need to bring your credit card), my drivers license Multiple credit cards the PIN number to the account, the passwords to the account (on which I am a registered member) and emails on my Phone from Verizon in regards to the phone being purchased plus my phone I was holding in my hand was my phone from the account. Henry claimed he couldn't release the phone to me because I did not have in my Possession my husbands credit card which was used to purchase the phone and therefore could Not verify my identity despite all the above mentioned methods. I called Verizon customer service, they told Me that was ridiculous and to request to speak to a supervisor who would be able to release the phone to me and Henry refused to get a supervisor, even after asking three times and telling him that is what the Verizon customer service told me to ask for. At this point it was clear this was not about making sure I was who I said I was and rather about Henry being a jerk. I had to drive all the way home and get the credit card from my husband and go back. Verizon customer service told me to lodge a complaint on their website but I am also doing so here. read more

Came in on a Monday evening and were greeted right away by a manager even though she was helping another customer. She had a rep come help us and lucky us it was Mario. He was personable, fun and professional. He outlined a few options for us to purchase our new phones and mini-pad, one of which we agreed to. The manager checked on us a couple times to be sure everything was good. Not sure we would of received the same level of service on the weekend so it paid to come in when we did. My mother and I upgraded our phones to the iPhone 13 Pro and had trouble activating since we had to buy them from the apple store due to them being on back order through Verizon. When trying to activate them they did so as both physical SIM and eSIM so both were activated but not working properly. Zac was very professional and knowledgeable of what our issue was and was able to provide very helpful assistance. We showed up about an hour before closing and while they were by appointment only they do take walk-ins if they have time to assist. Zac knew exactly what our issue was and was able to get our phones activated and working properly in just a few minutes. While he was running diagnostics on our new phones he was also assisting new customers that entered the store to see if he would be able to help them before closing for the evening. Overall, I would recommend the Eden Prairie Verizon store and specifically Zac to assist as he is very knowledgeable and helpful. read more

They never answer their phone. I called over 30 times to get help answering a simple question over the course of and evening and the next morning and they don't answer at ALL. I finally decided to go in as I was needing to get a new phone. They told me it'd be 20 minutes and it was over 45. Finally got someone to help and got my new phone, they said it'd activate as soon as I got home and turned it on and it didn't work. Went to call them again to get help and surprise.. no answer after multiple calls. Finally after 4 hours I have a working new phone only thanks to the main 1800 Verizon customer service line. read more
