Wanted to upgrade phone to get free Apple Watch. After THREE hours being held captive and AFTER shutting off our old phones we were given the bill to pay taxes (545.00) which was $100 dollars too high! Had we not questioned the calc, they would have charged our card. In addition they charged us $185.00 in "their" service changes AFTER telling us it would only be ONE charge of $30 dollars. Horrible experience. Employees are incompetent and manger is crabby and unhelpful! We ended up calling Verizon later and they made it right for us by removing all charges from their store and then some. read more

Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't don't don't don't don't dont dont don't. We've been a customer for 39 days. We've already had fraud on our account of up to $240. And I've spent a total of 15 1/2 hours over three day. in their store between trying to get my accounts correct and the fraud reversed. By the way, they allowed somebody to make changes on my account without contacting me. Security sucks. And when I was there dealing with their fraud the clerk working said she remembered us trying to get our phones over the 3 days we were there and she said, "I could have had that done in minutes if you were dealing with me." Oh, so she just allows us to get frustrated instead of helping her coworker, who was in tears when we walked. Got it. Stay clear of this place. Update-8/28/25. Due to their fraud we can't get into our app, pay our bill, redeem the promised promotions when we signed up and I've been on the phone with them for 35 minutes now only to find out we don't get the item that was sold to us as part of their promotion. We'll be cancelling and taking our money and business to Xfinity. What a nightmare. 1st world problem nightmare, but I refuse to give these crooks one more dime of our cash. Oh..guess what? Huge mistake to ever deal with them! They made me all kinds of promises when I signed up, then as soon as I ported my lines in to Verizon, all efforts to help me in any way ceased. I couldn't reach my sales agent for over a month, as he was suddenly "out on sick leave". When I did reach him, he gave me one song and dance after another, as to why I wasn't receiving the benefits and rebates he promised. Months went by, and my bill never came down, so it cost me much more than the provider I was switching from. Trying to contact anyone for support is nearly impossible. If you do get lucky and manage to connect, you invariably get abruptly disconnected. If you go into the local office, they say they can't help you, that you have to contact a phone agent. When I paid off my lines with Verizon in order to get the payoff refunded by another provider, they would only provide me with a statement showing the amounts paid, but not what it was for. At this time, I have still not been able to get this sorted out. RUN the other way, fast!! read more

We were set up at the verizon near the bestbuy in folsom, we worked with a Rep named James and he COMPLETELY screwed up our account. No promotions were added properly or anything. My wife told me to go work with a different Verizon and thats why we came in today at about 3:30 to this Verizon. We were welcomed by Teressa, and she was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. She went above and beyond and fixed our account and gave us a loyalty discount for being patient with the issues that had occurred. I received the email to pick up my phone upgrade today (10/30/25) from Victra at 900 east bidwell in Folsom. I arrived at 1:30, the store was locked up tight. No staff. I banged on the from and back doors and the windows for 15 minutes. Nobody there. Called Verizon and after 45 minutes trying to cancel the order I was assured it would be. Not confirmed yet. But back to this store. Total BS. They send an email to pick up the phone today. Verizon agent says no, it's scheduled for Nov 2 pick up. No, the email says it's ready go pick it up TODAY. Warning to anyone out in the hills.DO NOT GET WIFI FROM VERIZON. We went and got business internet from them a few months ago. We knew we where moving soon so we also asked if it would work at our new address and obviously they said it would work great there as well as the current address we where at so we got it. When we paid they said since we got business internet they would give us 1 month credit for the following month and our activation bill would be paid in store that day. They didn't have change so the said THEY WOULD CREDIT THE EXTRA $80 change to our account. We were under the impression that the next two months would be handled because thats what they told us but then after the second month our internet shut off so we paid the minimum to turn It back on. Went in and they said "oh it may take a while for it to actually go on your account" so here we were playing catch up payments with internet that barley worked(the internet works horribly at our new address, multiple days with little to no connection mind you we run a business and take college classes so internet is very important). We decided to bite the bullet and get starlink 2 WEEKS AGO. Today we go to return the Verizon box and just pay off what was left. Few days late on the last months "catchup" payment and they said they already sent it to collections because we "technically never finished paying the first months bill" or some BS like that. So not only did they lie straight to our face and never credit us our change or the month they said they would basically stealing almost $100 out of our pockets but we were also paying over what our monthly bill was supposed to be every month they also immediately sent it into collections putting a dent in my partners credit because we were a few days later than we usually pay it. I WILL NEVER GO TO VERIZON AGAIN this was the most horrible experience we have ever had with any company. They wouldn't even talk to us about what was going on or explain where our money disappeared to when we asked they told us they couldn't look at our account untill we pay off to collections. A truly disgusting business. I've never had such a terrible experience. I bought their 5G home internet. It sucked so I took everything back to the store. The will refuse to take it back. They can sell you this directly from the store, but they refuse to take it back. They insist that corporate will send you a box that you will then have to ship to their corporate location in Texas. They never sent me the box no matter how many requests I made. I literally confirmed my address 3 separate times. They even said a "tracking label was being created". That was a lie. After the fourth time of going into their store, they directed me to take my box to the "corporate" location off Iron Point. You see... they aren't Verizon. They are Victra. Honestly it just depends on who you get. I have been here a couple of times and each experience has been different. I really didn't appreciate the last experience I had at the store. I made an appointment online thinking it would be faster and easier well let me tell you it's not which the representative told me through a chuckle. I had explained that I had made an appointment online in which she responded well we can't just stop helping other ppl because you made an appointment. I was not trying to indicate that I deserved special treatment because I made an appointment I was just telling her that I had made one in case it made looking my number up easier. A few missed promises to call when they should have, but that I probably a corporate Verizon red tape problem more than it is this store. Dylan was awesome. Got us on a cheaper plan, upgraded phone and a new line for our son. I give them props as I imagine it must be a Sysiphean task to play man in the middle with verizon customer service. I had a difficult issue with my phone so Austin was there to give assistance and he diligently worked on the problem for at least 30 minutes. I came to have my screen protector put on my iPhone. The person helping me was Chris. He seemed nice in the beginning and put on the clear glass screen protector on my phone however when he handed my phone back to me I noticed a few dust particles and even small pieces of hair trapped under the screen protector. I showed it to Chris and he was outwardly offended(shaking his head) as we went back to get a new protector. He put on a new one and it looked fine. He did not say thank you but just handed the bag to me. This message is to the manager(s) at this Verizon store: Please talk to Chris about customer service. The reason he is there is because of the CUSTOMERS. Also, please talk to him about how to properly put on a glass protector. Just had the worst customer service ever experienced at this Verizon store. We arrive 15 minutes before they close, to find one customer service rep named Austin working. There was only one other customer in the store and upon arriving he greeted us with a cold "how can I help you" like we were inconveniencing him. We then proceeded to wait another 10 mins before him telling us he closes at 8 and we would have to come back tomorrow to upgrade our devices... I have never experienced such disrespect to a paying customer who is getting 3 new devices... The store also had a very slim selection of devices as well. I experienced terrible service from this place. I went to Victra to purchase an iphone and the salesperson convinced me to get the iwatch because they were running a special deal that would fully reimburse me for the iwatch through my Verizon phone bill. This was an outright lie by the salesperson. I never was reimbursed on the phone bill and Verizon told me that there was no such plan being offered by them. I spoke to the manager at the Vitra store several times and he told me that he would look into it. He finally called back and said I would see the reimbursement on my next Verizon bill, but again this was a lie because the reimbursement never came. I also spoke to Vitra's customer service and they did nothing to resolve the problem. I will never use these guys again. read more
