dont trust this location!!! bunch of clowns lying to people to get them sign an agreement. it only took one month to get the first bill by more than double and the clowns that work in the store keep lying just to get you to deal with customer service and nothing gets done. i wouldnt recommend this store to my worse enemy read more

Well I hardly watch any cable TV in the last 6 months, and I don't need a land line for my phone since I ditch the garage ADT security system for a modern Ring WiFi system, so when my contract expired it was the perfect time to tell Verizon to remove it all except my Internet which they gave me a deal. I had 100megabits and now I go to 1 Gigabit for $10 more and not only get a central wifi router with better range but they added an additional extender wifi router were I hooked up a Ethernet connection from my main computer that I use for working from home for the job. So what does this store have to do with this you may say ? Well I returned all my Verizon equipment here, it was 6 PM and they had a staff of 6 in the store and I was in and out in 5 minutes after a painless processing by just scanning the QR Code on the cable boxes. The service was incredibly fast - literally I was in and out in 60 secs picking up few equipment for my Fios. They KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING... wow. and for small store, they have a lot of employees - and every one of them know their thing.. say like an Apple Store... probably the best Verizon store in the area.... In fact, other Verizon Stores have recommended here for finding equipment on limited stock as well. read more

I am technologically challenged, and I was very nervous to go into Verizon for a new phone and have to admit my ignorance, not even knowing my password. The young man, Antonio, who waited on me was as kind as could be, and he did not make me feel Incompetent.. I live near the Utica Park store but I think their personnel is arrogant and acts like you're bothering them if they have to wait on you. I found my store of choice. Thank you, Verizon. read more

I was there today, January 6th, at 3pm to return Verizon equipment. I walked in to see a customer being helped with a phone and another customer returning equipment. 3 other workers (I presume they were workers) were standing in the back talking to each other. I approached them to ask if any of them were working. They laughed, told me to take a seat and then continued talking, making jokes about what I asked. Then they all went in the back except the person selling the phone. After a 5-10 minutes Ryan came out and sat down. He helped a person with a bill and told me he was waiting for a customer to return but would help me return the equipment. The rest of the workers finally came to the front to ask Ryan for his lunch order. What is happening in your store?? Are the workers there to help customers or hang out? At the least, rude and unprofessional. You should be very thankful you have Ryan! Management needs to change the work ethic in that store quick. I, for one, will never shop there again. read more

This location is definitely the worst Verizon location I have ever been too. No organization and the customer service was some of the worst I experienced. That's for every staff member there was not a single helpful employee. They scoffed and ignored elderly people, women and children holding heavy boxes. If Verizon wants to remain a reputable company they'd better trim the fat in Garfield because that location isn't getting the brand anywhere. read more

BUYER BEWARE: Before you agree to anything in the store ask a few times about ALL FEES that you will have to pay. Upgrading your phone in the store will hit your Verizon Wireless account with a $40 "upgrade fee" instead of the normal $20 if you just ordered the phone online. That info about doubling the fee won't be proactively offered to you. I asked and still wasn't told, hence my recommendation to ask clearly multiple times....maybe write it all down and have them agree so that you'll get full transparency. When you want to leave with your phone there will be another $19.99 fee for "Set Up and Go Plus" which will be explained as a mandatory fee from Verizon (rep at Verizon Wireless said that they mandate no such thing and the fee is coming solely from the store). That fee won't be discussed with you upfront either. I'll give 2 stars because the staff was friendly and helpful so there's still a positive aspect. The additional stars are withheld because I asked very specific questions about the differences in doing an upgrade online versus in the store and they described the positive aspects about going through them and said nothing about the negatives. The fees are fine if presented in an open and honest way but that obviously wasn't the case. Hopefully their business practices will change in the future. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service from the assIstant store manager . So rude. This store is a rip off. I bought a lifetime warrantied screen protector for around $50. The screen protector started raising up after 10 days. I went into the store and was told I i would have to pay $15 for a new one. When I asked show it to me in writing he couldn't. No way was I paying if it is a lifetime warranty and it has only been 10 days. The assistant manager told me it's wear and tear. After 10 days? That's bullshit. He was rude and was extremely unhelpful. Go to the real Verizon wireless store. Buyer beware of this store. read more

Garbage service. Huge line to return items and as soon as you are seated to complete a return they begin selling you on upgrading your phone plan. So scammy and disgusting and makes the wait times even longer. Can't believe this Verizon location operates this way. read more
