wish I would have listened/reviewed to Josiah & Jmie's posts, this store will rip you off, they told me that my wife and kids were up for a renewal, so we upgraded, it cost me $850 which I was ok with until the bills came and I found that they charged me $850 for three heads sets and three screen protectors and Verizon is also charging me a monthly equipment fee. I contacted Verizon directly and they told me I was not due for an upgrade and the store in question misrepresented their program. Verizon also created a formal complaint against this location. At the end of the day they took me for about $850.00, live and learn but don't make the same mistake I did, avoid this store like the plague. Tried to resolve my issue with Matthew (sales punk) and he just smiled and told me that there was nothing he could do. Also, shame on Verizon for allowing such a blatant disregard for ethics. PS. We went into a Wichita, Kansas, Victra store on Maize Road and dealt with a salesperson named Tyris. My huband had decided on an iPhone 12 mini we were buying him for his birthday. It costs $10 more to buy through Victra than Verizon to start off with. On the phone he told me they would give around a $100 trade-in for my husband's iphone 7. Apple offered $100 for that phone trade-in so I thought that was right. After an hour and a half and closing time, we FINALLY got the phone. We had ordered a specialty custom case for the iPhone 12 mini since my husband decided several weeks before that was the size phone he wanted. That case was engraved and cost $45, very customized. Get home that Saturday night and the phone is totally frozen. It won't turn off; won't go to any screen, nothing. Upon reading blogs about the 12 mini this has been a known problem with them. So my husband goes back to Victra Sunday morning at 11:00 when they open. They can't, after more than an hour, get the phone unlocked either. My husband comes home and our daughter gets on the phone with Apple and they are able, after around an hour, to get it unlocked and try to push the update the blogs say will fix it. Update happens but phone locks up still (again.) So daughter and husband go back to Victra and spend 2 1/2 hours there. Tyris who sold us the phone was not working. Marley tried to help and their solution was for my husband to spend ANOTHER $150 to upgrade to the iPhone 12. That was after spending $710, plus taxes, for the 12 mini. NO CONCESSIONS. When I called the store and talked to Marley, she told me she didn't have to help my husband and daughter because she didn't sell the phone, but she did it out of the GOODNESS AND KINDNESS OF HER HEART!!!! I said I didn't know that the people who worked in the Victra store were independent persons and didn't work for Victra as a store. She was the rudest, most insolent person, childish person EVER in a retail store. I asked what I was told by customer service that Rolando, the district manager, would call me. Come to find out, he works in that store as the store manager. I found out his boss is Kendra Johnson. I'm looking for her contact information. Marley in the store said the sale is final. I said, no, it's not. By Kansas law and by Verizon's polices you have three business days to void the transaction. She said, no, the sale was final. She doesn't even know the practices of Verizon. Victra is a disgrace to Verizon. I would never in my life set foot in a Victra store again. If you want to endure rudeness, insolence, dishonesty, ruthless business practices, then that's the place to shop. read more

Went in a couple months back to switch my father and I from AT&T to Verizon. Was helped by a well knowledgable young man by the name of Armando. He showed us how much we'd be paying on the edge program, in store and monthly bill; and needless to say, he's been right on the dot of our bill :) he even transferred all of our stuff from our old phones to our new ones. First off let me start by saying i don't give reviews unless the place i go to has either great service or horrible service, anything in the middle is average and i don't waste time writing average reviews. Well i came in because i was having issues with my phone and i had gone to a Verizon store on the other side of town next to panda express and they didn't seem to care very much about helping me. The only guy that approached me first thing he asked was "did you get the phone here" i said no, (i purchased the phone somewhere else but Verizon is Verizon right ?) after i told the guy no he said OK hang on for a few minutes, well a few minutes turned into 48 minutes because they were so busy the guy said, but i could tell he didn't really want to help so i googled another store and came here to Verizon on 1st st next to Nob Hill. Right when i walked in here to the Verizon on 1st st i was greeted by a employee witch asked me how he could help me today. i told him what my issues were and he directed me to his manager named "Nick" i told Nick my issues with the phone and i noticed right away Nick was very understanding in how my phone was malfunctioning and express to me what he recommends and what my options were. I appreciated the fact that Nick was honest and not just trying to up sale me or offer me anything i didn't need, after discussing my options i decided it was time to get another phone any way (was long over due) and Nick laid out a great amount of choices for me to pick from, every phone i picked i asked him about the features, camera quality, storage space, processing capabilities, battery life etc. The guy knew every phone i asked about and had great feed back (i found my self trying to test the guy a bit just to see if i could stump him but he knew his phones great stuff) after he helped me with the phone he showed me some new options for phone plans and data they had because my plan was a bit out of date i guess but he never pushed or forced anything on me witch i really liked and it seemed to genuinely wanna set me up with the best plan and phone for me (not the phone verizon people try to push on every one and not the plan Verizon people try to push on every one) i feel like he gave me the plan i needed and the phone i really wanted. After everything was said and done i feel like i left with a great phone, a great plan and a great customer employee relationship because i will absolutely be coming back to get my wife's phone upgraded and i will be telling my family and friends to come here for any Verizon needs (as i show off my new phone to them) i will make sure they ask for Nick!!! overall... best service i've ever gotten from a Verizon location. Nice pleasant and help full employees (Guessing great managing reflects great employees) Very Knowledgeable.. Most help full employee/ manager ive met so far. This is one of the BEST experiences that I have had at a Verizon store in a LONG TIME! Jordan, Senia, and Josh deserve to be promoted/ recognized as the best reps at this location! My phone broke, so I NEEDED to get one ASAP. I called in earlier that day and Jordan answered the phone with a welcoming, friendly tone. He helped schedule an apt for me to come in that same afternoon at around 7pm. He mentioned that he would be off at 6pm that day, but he would stay later to help me out, since he was aware of my situation and wanted to make sure that I would get the best serivce. He definitely went the extra mile to make me feel comforted and at ease that my situation would be handled. I was running a bit late and I wouldn't have made it to the store until 7:45pm (15 minutes before they closed), BUT Josh answered the phone and said that it would not be a problem to come in. Even though he knew it would take at least an hour to help solve my problem, he welcomed me to stop by to get my new phone. I walked in super anxious and flustered, BUT Jordan and Josh greeted me with kindness and they both reassured me that I woul be taken care of. Senia, who has one of the most exubereant, quirky personalities, helped me get set up with my new phone; while also helping me feel welcomed and at ease. I was definitely in the best hands with her because she went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and worry free. I am FOREVER grateful and thankful for the three of them for going the extra mile and enhacing my experience with their personalites and professional care. Recently found this store, cool, no more waiting at the corporate store like one hour.Their service is nice, this is my second time going to this store. Hmm... So I went here to switch over from AT&T and wanted a black iphone 5, the girl told me they were out so I asked if she could get one from another store. She called and said yes, they have 3 in morgan hill and I will get one tomorrow before this store opens at 10am. I said okay... TOMORROW? 10AM? Because I really did not want to come back... I left my number and she said she would call me. I showed up at the store at 10:40am, the doors were locked and no one was there. No call, business closed during business hours. The employees in this store are extremely rude and vulgar. Customer service is pretty much nonexistent. I was in the store to upgrade my phone. The employees seemed bothered to help me because it was interrupting their social hour. "Matt" and "Soto" were using nonstop swear words and I had my small child in with me. Sal & Guillermo were super helpful went the extra mile for us! They were able to get us our family plan for a hell of deal! They had amazing customer service and overall my experience was great! I purchased a new phone from this business on Dec 31. The salesperson, Matthew Lijon, was not at all helpful. I had to return the next day because some of the charges didn't make sense. This person was deceptive and not at all interested in helping me understand, he was more interested in denying things he had said. Extra charges, additional monthly fees, and in store charges that we never discussed. I wish I had read these reviews before I went in. Very deceptive dishonest people. read more

I don't want to deter you completely from visiting this retailer because there are honest, hardworking employees here however their manager Edgar is a thief and a scam artist and should not be in management. Long story short, Edgar took my cash for a phone case and did not ring the case into the computer, did not give a receipt either. Then the next day I decided the case was not for me and went to return the case with his employees however they could not find the invoice in the computer.... Interesting. They told me they could not help me until Edgar the manager was working since he tendered the transaction and they could not find any evidence of the sale. I am frustrated at this point because this seems like a scam, almost as if he pocketed the money. So, I waited for him to return and as soon as he saw me he had my cash waiting (his employees told him I was coming back I assume) I tried asking why he didn't ring the transaction into the computer and his reply was "it was after hours"... Ridiculous. I honestly believe he pocketed the cash. If you visit this place and are taken advantage of, consider yourself warned by this review.
