By far some of the worst and laziest customer service I've ever met. Their management and staff are laughable on how low their efforts are for "their" customers. You ask them questions about timelines and their answers are "I don't know" and "we get them when we get them" There's zero initiative, and it's not as if they're filled packed and helping customers and flustered. This was during a point where they had 4 employees on the floor and 1 other customer besides myself. we had Spectrum Business phones. We wanted to install internet as well. In the process our phone numbers that we have had for 40 years and that are on all of our advertising were canceled, and were given two other phone numbers. Now we're being told that it may take up to 72 hours to get the old phone numbers back (if possible). in the meantime we are getting no calls, loosing thousands of dollars in revenue. We can't even get an answer as to how it happened. This is the worst thing that could of happened to a business and all I get from Spectrum is ( we have a ticket on it ). read more

The reviews speak for itself it's not the best when it comes to most things. I will say for the area I'm in I have spectrum internet and it's the best. Yes it's pricey but for the internet specific service they own me. As for the other services I would stay away from as I travel about 30 weeks a year and had some colleagues use them and regret it for mobile. It doesn't matter how well priced something is as if it doesn't work who cares if it's free! Coming into the store it's a constant upsell for sure but I get the hustle. The only part that is cringe is they are trying to sell me mobile service that is weak so it's hard to take them seriously. Overall spectrum internet in my area is great but again pricey. read more

WORST MOBILE SERVICE!! I'm still reeling from the absurd customer service I received from SPECTRUM. Trying to add a second line for my visiting mother should have been simple. Instead, the Pine Avenue store (248 Pine Ave Suite A, Long Beach, CA 90802) botched it 4 times and then refused to issue a refund on the spot, forcing me to call customer service. What followed was an unbelievable 35-minute saga involving 5 different representatives just to get my money back. It makes you question what kind of company operates with such a disconnect between their in-store and customer service processes, and with so little regard for their customers' time and frustration. This isn't just inconvenient; it's a fundamental failure of customer service. In this day and age, how can such incompetence and lack of empowerment exist? if I could do 0 stars I would. i drove almost an hour to get to this spectrum because that was the closest one. i got there 30 minutes before it closes and I understand if you're having a long day at work that sometimes sucks. but as soon as I walk in, I start signing in and one of the workers says "I swear why do they always come 30 minutes before close." unprofessional, bad service, and rude. there is no need to make a comment and that loud. I would like to share my experience with Spectrum business and their technicians. It seems that they are unclear about what they are supposed to do. They are installing another smart switch but are using a bracket designed to hold multiple devices, which is not necessary in this case. As a result, the bracket is protruding into a very busy area, creating a safety hazard. We repeatedly expressed our concerns about the danger this poses, but the technicians insisted that there isn't a smaller bracket available to hold the smart switch securely and safely. I have a picture of the installation with the protruding bars are causing the hazard. We have a board that we have to access several times a day that is above this bar that sticks out. Emails - disaster. Internet - disaster. I am far from being prone to being overly dramatic, so take this to heart. I have spent hours and hours with support trying to resolve the various issues and many still persist - internet going down at random times, not receiving all emails being sent, others not receiving my emails, and on and on. Tech has helped over the phone. They've been out. The rep. who was going to be sure everything went smoothly - she disappeared within a day of us signing up. Her manager who finally responded after weeks of reaching out - ditched us for a lunch he set up to get to the bottom of all the issues. I cannot say enough about you NOT moving to Spectrum. You will regret it every day as I do - that's how often our Internet is down. read more

Called in to sign up my business with internet and phone. They verified the address as serviceable. Sent me a docusign to sign up and set up a date to install our service. That date was 2/12/25. Called today 2/13/25 to ask why nobody ever showed up for our install. We received no call, no email...NOTHING. They just plain no-showed. When I finally got someone on the phone to ask what happened to my install, they read me a note on the account that said "Address is unserviceable", and then they hung up on me. How is that for professionalism! I will NEVER have spectrum in ANY of my businesses....EVER! read more

They start charging you for both and do nothing for you and then want to charge you for the mobile that you sent right back without using it saying damaged and it never came the box that they sent it in. We ported our number over and we were reassured that everything would work the way we needed to, needless to save every promise for the phone number to function the way we asked failed! After we ported the number there was now no way to fix or address our concerns. I have not enjoyed Spectrum at all as a residentail or Business customer, it's often out for internet as well. I definitely do not recommend anyone get their business phone as they don't seem to know what they are doing or talking about. Really hoping they bring in Fidium to the area as it's superior. This review concerns the mobile side of business. If you moved mobile lines from a previous carrier to Spectrum Mobile for Business and then residential runs a promotion that's much better, they will not port the numbers from business to residential. Their solution, are you ready? Pretend you are going to another carrier like T-Mobile, Verizon,etc. and then port them back over to residential. Is that not shadiest crap you've ever heard!!??? Dealt with this for like over a month and I finally had no choice but to do just that. Dealt with one set of people that said you could do it while the majority said no you can't. And why... because it's policy. That's it!!??? That was the only excuse they would give. Unfortunately in the end, they are going to win bc the pricing on the residential side right now is more than half compared to plans on T-Mobile and we had no issue with coverage but their business practice is shit when it comes to porting from one entity to another within this organization. read more

Spectrum Business - frustrating Customer Service. Five year customer, billing set to auto-pay. Business sold, called to suspend service two weeks in advance. Informed I had to notify on the last day needed. Did so. Returned equipment the same day. Was billed the following day for the following month. Not a huge deal. Logged into portal to print a final, zero balance statement as required by Finance. Unable to access the portal, though assured account remains accessible for sixty days. Seventy minutes, a CS rep and one Supervisor later - they are unable to provide an electronic copy of my zero balance statement. They must mail to an address we no longer occupy or to which we can access to mail service. Frustratingly ridiculous! read more

Spectrum has recently completed a smooth install of cable internet to one of our local businesses. The business had been suffering with DSL for 6 years, only 2Mb speed, was as fast as allowed in this area (City of Gilroy). Bilked at extortionist rate of $180/month for DSL and a land line. Switching to Spectrum was fast and painless. The sales rep, Michael, stayed on thru the install and helped the Spectrum tech with running coax and everything. Within hours, the install completed and testing download speeds at 200+ Mb/sec. Uploads 11+Mbps. Phones were migrated seamlessly. And saving over $100/month. What a relief! Thanks Spectrum! Spectrum business mobile is a scam, they tell potential clients that they will promise you all these prices and deals and specials to get you to switch and sign up. Once you switching like none of them prices and what was promised do they follow through with. Was told we will give you $100 visa gift card for each line you bring over. We brought three lines over and was told after 12 weeks we will receive $300 worth visa gift cards to use towards whatever we want. After 3 months no gift cards received and when called and asked about was told they should be there any day. 3 weeks after called to check on the where abouts are the gift cards. Was transfered to 5 different people that said they will fix it and get them sent out. Then transfered to the next business mobile supervisor and was told because of my zipcode of where I get my mail we are not eligible for the buy out promotion. When before signing up and all the different ma agers and supervisors I spoke to I was eligible until the last person. So not only did they not follow through as promised we are now out the money we were supposed to receive for switching. Please make sure yiu dont get scammed like us. read more

My job uses this and it's constantly having issues. Having issues like not tracking outgoing calls correctly and getting me in trouble at work double my workload because I have to prove I am making the calls that I'm making. Not to mention half the time it wont load through the google browser and I have to open a safari page to even get to it this was the solution given by customer service. read more

Worst internet service ever! Paid for high speed internet. Speed would drop by 75% or more and they would send out a technician who would fiddle with the technology and maybe switch out a piece of equipment and the speeds would go back up ... for a few days and then they would drop like a rock again. Their technicians seemed competent and professional but the company and its technology was very flaky. Finally, when I moved and decided to switch to another carrier, they charged me for a full month of service when I only received 3 days of service. And their automated phone service that answers calls is really really bad. If you want professional service, Run, don't walk, to another provider. read more

Overall, in the past 6 years that we've had Spectrum business, we've encountered minimal disruptions with the Internet so this rating is placed heavily on their inability to serve businesses with multiple locations. As a business owner, I am not familiar with the difference between a S&B and Enterprise account - all I want is to access all my accounts and make the same changes if I wanted to. The way my accounts have been set up have complicated what seems like a simple request. Spectrum doesn't seem to have a mechanism to tie accounts together nor train customer service reps to ask. Each account is treated as it's own. Additionally, I was just told that they no longer offer hotspot for guests; only if you are grandfathered in on an old account because it requires a certain router they no longer carry. Despite the fact that I have 4 accounts with Spectrum, the customer service rep did not or could not provide alternate solutions. I asked if the only option was to find a different Internet provider, and he made no effort to try to keep me as a customer. I wasn't looking for a discount - I was looking for expert advice. read more

Customer service is a joke with Spectrum. The business account reps disappear once your installation is complete and good luck getting in touch with them once they've got you good and signed up. Apparently there are multiple departments within Spectrum and it's up to the customer to make sure any service appointments are set with the correct one. Please do your research first before placing an order or switching. We started the switching process September of last and still don't we don't have the phones nor the internet. They have so many different department and so many hands into this. One small change will take over a month. They brought us the wrong phones and after a month of going back and forth with them they still haven't been able to bring the right phones to switch them. our fiber box is been sitting in the server room for over 2 months and they still haven't been able to figure out why its not working or what is missing. Cecilia Johnson is been the project manager and she does is to call and tell you "I submitted this to this department. That guys needs to place and order. my engineer will check it out. and much more" at the end of the nothing is done. I even reached out to her supervisor Branda Nevarez and she was unable to help with this process. It is just a big mess that has effected our business massively. And if you try to cancel they are charging a fee. Basically we have to pay because they can't do their job. I wish we could of given them no star. Spectrum has installed a fiber plan in our office, the are so compartmentalized in the service that they provide that random strange people came about 19 times to do small jobs, each person only did a small part of the whole job, in doing this they have disconnected our security systems, they left wires from other service providers unhooked and those various service providers had to come and repair. I was contacted by Sharita as a Spectrum Business representative who offered me a 600mg internet plan for $49.99. When the installer came, he also put in a wireless modem and a phone line. I told him that I did not okay or want them, but he said it was all part of the package. When i got my invoice it was for $144.90 not $49.99. When I spoke to Spectrum Customer service and then Customer Retention I was told the sales person basically lied and upsold me and to get any discount I had to do a package deal and my bill moving forward would be $77.97 NOT the $49.99 I was quoted. Bottom line, the sales rep lied tome to make a sale and Spectrum would not honor her lies. Fraud all the way. read more

Spectrum tried to sell me 'free' mobile service which I declined due to previous experience. Spectrum Enterprise internet is way overpriced and the terms of service are dumb. After you tell them to cancel your service they require you to pay for a full 30 days after the cancelation. Basically this is a cancellation fee on top of any other cancelation fee. I tried to get this additional monthly service fee waved by the manager said he couldn't even wave the fee... even though I was able to get a discounted early termination fee by someone else. I have full residential services and mobile phones services but after this experience of them changing me an added $301 for services I did not use I will be moving on. read more
