He immediately put me at ease and assured me that he would do his best to fix all my issues...Between his demeanor and willingness to assist me quickly he put me at ease As a result of his service and expertise, I decided then to stay with Verizon I highly recommend seeking Michael out if you become overwhelmed with new devices updated software etc. Michael will do whatever it takes to get you in a Happy place. again. Amazing store! I had a pick-up order there, but when I read all reviews, I expected a bad service. However, service was perfect! A lot of available representatives, no line at all. A very nice girl Iveta approached me with a smile and intention to help me. It took me just a few minutes to receive my order. Do not go into this store. Their workers lie straight to your face and quote you things that they have no right to do. I was told when opening my account that each line would receive a $300 gift card. After 2 months now of going back and forth with the chat they tell me to keep waiting 4-5 weeks for the email. Come to find out that now they're telling me this store was wrong and not suppose to be quoting that to the customers. I don't care if the worker made a mistake it's not on the customers to make up for it. Verizon should be keeping their word and rectifying this. do not beware dont go into this verizon dealer shop not nice people beware bought samsung 25 plus in hazlet store traded in s21 25 plus wouldn't allow me to get sound notification for email and text after a bit of discussion they swapped phone which i bought on may 25 2025 new phone wouldn't allow sounds as well i was thrown out of the store and had merchandise thrown at me. i asked 5 times please help me i was yelled at and lied to they stated phone does not have that feature i've been a verizon customer 4 more than 30 year when it was known as bell atlantic verizon should be ashamed to have people working 4 them who are nasty rude and downright disrespectfull to a 70 year old man. everybody wants my money but for now on i"m only going to give it to nice people and companies. read more

Verizon couldnt activate my phone, so they changed my plan without my permission I was told I couldnt get any deals on a phone unless I upgraded my plan, so I said no. I tried to purchase the phone retail, and they told me the system wont let them! I have an old plan I was grandfathered into so I decided to keep it and pay full price for the phone, but I couldnt even do that! Told me I have to buy it from apple then activate it Almost 3 hour in the store, and simultaneously the store and I on a call with customer service, finally it activates. Customer service calls back a few minutes later on the new activated phone (same number) and tells me they HAD to change my plan without my consent to activate it Now I'm left with a new plan at double the price of my old one, lost the mobile hotspot feature my old plan had, AND received no deals because I was told I had to buy the phone retail from apple. I'm told they cant change it back in the system and I should receive a call back in a few days (which never happens, probably so they can say its been x days we cant change it now) As a 19 year verizon customer from a family plan and now 4-5 years on my own plan it's extremely upsetting. Full price phone, lost features, higher bill, no permission to change my plan given (entire reason I paid retail for the phone was NOT to change the plan). And they dont care whatsoever. They told me my best option was to upgrade proceeded to charge me $1100 for her cell phone without telling me I would've had my phone replaced with insurance. I went into this store at 6:15 to buy a Pixel 6 Pro. The woman with login tablet walked right past me. I walked up to her and she said, rather annoyed "What do you want?'. I said "I want to buy a phone". She said "We close at 7 and we dont have time to do the transfer", then walked off without even taking my name. She went to talk to another customer. Complete waste of time. Came here for a new SIM card, was told the wait time is 20-30 minutes. Waited for 1hr 20 minutes instead, after flagging down someone working the front to please help. A guy that followed in right behind us was told a wait time of 1hr 15 minutes. I would've appreciate an honest wait time. I understand it can be stressful when it's busy, I notice some staff could be trained better on their tone with customers and not raise their voices or speak rudely. The whole SIM card exchange was about 5 minutes. I recommend going online ahead of time and taking care of it there. Employees walking out an hour before the store closes with the store full of unseen customers? Seems inappropriate. We weren't even given a single update for the whole time we were there, felt completely invisible. If you want any sort of update or communication while waiting, you'd have to be pretty aggressive and interrupt the staff for one. The sign up front says frequent sanitization. I didn't see a single act of cleaning between customers. Bottom line: poor communication, poor sense of urgency, no apparent oversight by a leader, unpractical business system I would never come back here, I don't recommend this place. read more

This place sucks so badly. Made a 10am appt to trade in my phone for a new one. Guy asks me for my Fios login (why? I thought I was getting a new phone). Then he disappears for 15 minutes and comes pack with a "deal" that will just raise my bill $20/mo forever. Actually there were two deals and I had no idea why he was presenting me with two pieces of paper. I went into this store Hazlet Verizon on Rt 35 this morning. there was no one waiting and 2 young men behind desk. the one asked me if he could help me when I told him what I needed which was a new plan and a phone he asked the young man next to him if he wanted to help me his answer was "not really". after taking my phone number he never said another word until he printed out a quote. I truly have never been treated so rudely by person that is supposed to help NEVER again will I go in that store. read more

I went to this store today to try to resolve a couple of problems I was having with my iPhone and account. The man who was assigned to help me told me that he couldn't help (he didn't even try to), and handed me a photo copy of various instructions to try myself. I was at a lost for words when I brought my mother's phone in that was broken and the guy said there was absolutely nothing that could be done to fix it which I was okay with. Then he starts to say random things about Apple ID and telling my mom to do stuff on her Apple Watch which she shouldn't have done because it locked her out of her account. Worst and only bad experience I've ever had with Verizon ! Avoid the sale associate named ROSA !!! She's pushy, unprofessional, and uneducated! I took my uncle here to upgrade his phone from an iphone 4 to an iphone 7plus, so she was already getting a big sale. She was talking him into buying ton of accessories he doesn't need by saying "but it's part of a bundle " - who cares? I don't get fooled by tactics like that. She would not let me have a second to talk to him about it, she was in a hurry to grab his credit card from hand and ring it before I could talk him out of it. the workers are rude and super disrespectful. I walked in for assistance and the one older gentleman was short with me. I was then immediately dismissed. I called 611 as they told me to do and go back into the store. The initial guy left so I approached another man. I explained to him I contacted 611 as the store told me too and they want to speak with someone here. As he's talking to me, he got up and walked away to greet customers who just set foot in the store. If I could i would give this particular store -100 star review. When trying to explain the issue with my phone, the associate I was dealing with (by the way looked as if she was ready to try out for the next season of the Jersey Shore) was so rude... she shoved a post - it in my face with a 888 # on it, stating she had no other options to help me get a new phone without being beat up w/ fees? Her tone was so degrading, I was just about to find a landline to cancel my service all together. If I could do negative stars I would. The customer service was awful! I waited on line and then was paired with "Raad" I told him that I wanted to buy the 12 Pro Max. He walked me over to the display and left me when the next customer walked in. He proceeded to put a screen saver on her phone without even acknowledging me that it would be just a minute. He fixed her issue and then when I thought he was going to come back to help me 2 more people walked in who he proceeded to help. The only service I received was that a rep put me on a phone with a tech. Do your homework before you agree to anything, these sales associates are SHADY! I was ready for an iPhone 6 but walked out empty handed because the plan they were pushing sounded too good to be true. Upon further research I found out the catch, and that this plan would have been a huge and costly mistake for the type of user I am. From the rude "greeter" at the door, to the long wait, to smartphone displays being blocked by children playing games on them... the only good experience for me was walking out empty handed! Very positive experience at this location. My wife and I were both ready for upgrades and our previous upgrade experience (through Verizon customer service 800 number) was less than pleasant so we did not go in with high expectations. To our delight we dealt with Jennifer Rosales who took the time to get us the best deal and plan for our money, got us into brand new phones (Note 5 and iPhone 6s) and actually saved us a few bucks in the process. She also took the time to make our transition to the new phones seamless and wouldn't let us leave until all questions were answered. Very happy longtime Verizon customers! read more

The staff members were rude and not helpful at all. Plus they told me that I had to pay full price for the phone using an installment plan, however, once I spoke to the manager she told me ACTUALLY with the type of plan I have I can use my update and still use the two year plan price, which would still be about $500... ***NO STARS HERE***My daughter came in because her iPhone was losing service. Was told she could get a free phone if she changes her phone number for $15.00. When she came home I went onto the Verizon website and found that he set up a new line, kept the old one active with the iPhone that was not working, charged an activation fee of $30.00, and the iPhone was due for a FREE update. He also took her debit card and charged $13.11 for I do not know what. I will NEVER go into this store again and I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

I upgraded to an IPhone 7. I backed up my old IPhone to the ICloud and restored from the ICloud to the IPhone7. Everything worked well except that I couldn't receive any email. The error message. He finally deleted my email account and started all over again stated either my userID or password was incorrect. After inputting the correct userID and password numerous times without success, I decided to visit Hazlet Verizon store. I had the pleasure of working with Jon. He was extremely patient but couldn't resolve the problem. He finally deleted my email account and started all over again and requested a temporary password. He walked me thru the process of inputting a password and eventually it worked. The strange part was I used the same exact password. !! However, thanks to Jon's patience and perserverance, the email issue was resolved. read more
