PROMO FRAUD! They tell you have to get a BUNDLE, which are accessories in order to get the new iPhone 16. That's not true at all. GO ONLINE AND LOOK AT THE REAL PROMOS & CHECK FOR YOURSELF. Brando C. lied, multiple times to us and over charged almost $200 for unnecessary accessories. He said you had to do this in order to receive the iPhone promo. If you're reading this and it happened to you just call VICTRA customer service and talk to them. Calling Verizon directly, they won't be able to do anything because this is an Authorized Retailer. When you call, they will give you an email, and possibly to return your money. Verizon is a good company these people here just aren't! Or do what I did and get walk in and make them give it back to you. His coworker, Pablo M assisted as well on the return, but not after trying to back up what his coworker had done. Oh and they can give back your money on the screen protectors. They didn't apologize either, they know they are wrong tho. read more

I was totally ripped off buying a phone here. I was charged for accessories I never received, was told I was eligible for discounts that were never applied, and was never given a receipt. When I tried to get my issues fixed, they made me come back two other times because the manager was not working. They don't have a direct phone number so you can't call and they have no way to escalate issues. I am still trying to get a credit and it has now been over a month. DON'T GO HERE! read more

Update* We went back to the location near the grove and they fixed everything for us. They went above and beyond to help us. Took them hours to do it, and they patiently did. They were eventually able to force the return and send the phone back to the other store. She now has the iPhone that she originally wanted and is very happy with it. If you need to upgrade your device or get a new one they will be very patient and helpful. If your in my shoes where you need customer service help because your a Verizon wireless customer be prepared to wait. People getting new phones get priority/devices will get priority. I waited an hour and a half for something that took 10 minutes. In the end yes they did help me but the amount they made me wait was beyond a reasonable amount of time considering the amount of customers. Also i had called Verizon prior to walking in and i was supposed to have an appointment which of course was not there. read more

We've had Verizon for more than 5 years and we have never been so disappointed with a sales associate like the one we met here. We went in looking to trade in an old phone for an upgrade and from the start we were already hesitant. To start, the man that helped us stated we were eligible for the $800 trade in and said they had the phone we wanted on hand. Upon checking out, he began to give us a new scenario that we were not going to be able to take the phone if we didn't purchase a screen protector, phone case and charger to go with the phone. When we first stated we didn't want to get any of that, he proceeded to tell us that we wouldn't be able to take the phone, rather have to wait another 5 days to order the phone when he had already mentioned they had it in store. Since we had shown up with the intention of leaving with the phone, we complied and took it thinking everything was fine. We were charged a pretty big fee for having to take everything. Today we returned to a Verizon store to trade in the old phone, only to find out the sales associate from before NEVER added any trade in promo credit into the account. Not only were we manipulated into overspending, but now we are looking at not qualifying for this trade in when this was what the sales associate had stated we were doing. It's safe to say, this is a Verizon retailer that seeks to do more self serving than customer care. Don't be fooled and find yourself a different location! read more

This not a store that you want to get involved in. I have told my rep. that I do not want to get an insurance specifically for my phones. But that guy got me insurance anyway. I was charged $16/line. They refused to take the internet router that I was trying to return three times. I was forced to pay the internet fees without using since I could not return the devices within 30 days. This store is the worst of the worst. Anyone, do not go to that store. The Verizon rep at the main Verizon billing was not helpful either. They do not know how my bill came about. read more

Please save yourselves and DO NOT go to the Verizon store on Vine. THIS STORE IS THE SEVENTH CIRCLE OF HELL. My brother knew exactly what type of phone he wanted. Because we hadn't been to this location and other Verizon stores have closed, he decided to call to make sure they were indeed open. What ensued was the first sign that something was very very wrong. First, he was put on hold for a freakishly long time. When someone finally answered, they refused to tell him anything before interrogating him and trying to sell him something. The experience in the store itself surpassed every horrible experience I have ever had in a retail environment. The salesperson was extremely aggressive and rude. He tried to make us finance the phone even though we told him MULTIPLE times we wanted to pay for the whole thing at once. He then had the audacity to ask us WHY we wanted to pay for it all at once. What in heaven's name is the right answer to that question? Because we CAN pay for it? After spending an inordinate amount of time literally begging him to let us pay for the phone all at once, we were finally told that WE CANNOT PAY FOR THE WHOLE THING AT ONCE. Once we surrendered to this bizarre fact, we opted to buy MOST of the phone. (The only saving grace of this store was the other salesman in the store who was extremely professional.) The phone itself was approximately $690, which meant the total should have been around $760. We were quite shocked when the bully salesman very casually told us the grand total was nearly $1100. It turns out that the things he told us 'came with the phone' were actually part of an outrageously priced bundle of things we didn't want or need. We told him we didn't need anything but the phone. He actually refused to give let us buy just the phone. He kept coming back multiple times INSISTING we needed x, y or z. It was insane. I calmly but firmly told him that when a customer asks multiple times that they don't want something, that he should back off. He did not even have the decency to acknowledge my comment. Finally, we were able to pay for the phone using a credit card machine that was excruciatingly slow and seemingly malfunctioning. We thought we were home free. Of course, we weren't. The bully then asks us if we wanted a charger for the phone we just purchased. This guy tried to trick us into buying $350 of stuff for a $690 phone but did not tell us that the phone did not come with a charger! Truly incredible. read more

My family and I visited the Verizon store on Labrea in Hollywood California to upgrade phones . We were greeted by a very nice young man . His name was Arturo , he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He gave 5 STAR customer service. While working with my son on his upgrade he took the time to help me with issues I was having with my phone, he was patient, polite and compassionate. Thank you Arturo . THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS YOU ASK THEM NOT TO! I preordered the iPhone 13 the day it became available, and Sharon helped me (all three visits). When I came to pick up the phone, she asked if I wanted to buy monthly insurance--I said no. I haven't had phone insurance for a long time and have never wanted it. Then she asked if I wanted to upgrade my plan to 5G. I also said no. She also tried to sell me a $40 charger which I turned down, and intimated that I didn't understand technology (the old iPhone charger works perfectly with the new phones). Ok and behold I was charged for both the upgrade AND insurance, and have been for 3 months. I returned to the store and talked again to Sharon who said "oh, we'll you can't get the trade in for your old phone UNLESS you upgrade the plan. Sorry for not mentioning that." Then when I asked why I was being charged for insurance, she just said "I'll just take it off for you and next cycle you won't be charged." No way to get a refund for the thing I specifically said I didn't want. Well we went to a PROPER Verizon store today--and found out we were still being charged for the insurance, in ADDITION to a few other charges I've never even heard of. If all Verizon employees conduct business like Sharon, this is a very sad state of affairs. People don't deserve to get ripped off because a greedy employee gets tiny bonuses for signing people up for things they don't want. Shame on her, and this store. read more

I wanted to share my experience so others would know what to expect and dodge. Wendy, the manager there at first seemed very helpful. As she was giving me the information on all the details she lacked precision on when to act/timing. For example, she didn't tell me distinctly that I need to sign up for autopay right away to get the discount to benefit. And the disgusting thing about her, she ended up making herself seem so innocent and was like "you didn't see that" when it came to adding rebates. Honestly guts, avoid this location as much as you can, especially her. Her lack of clarity on when to act and framing this information in a way that clicks in, is definitely not her specialty here. Go somewhere else. Also we almost got robbed here to, when I existed the store. Stay away! read more

Attention Verizon managers ABOVE the store level (and you know who you are) Wendy at the Victra Verizon store (1503 Vine St, Hollywood, CA 90028) is a phenomenal asset to your organization. I am one of those oldilocks forced to part with my (original & showroom new) Motorola Razr due to the demise of 3G come December 31st. I took advantage of your promotion and launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 to upgrade. The Razr has been my backup phone and the actual telephone number for it dates to 1956--years before my birth. (I ported my childhood landline number). Wendy made the transition from the existing outdated account to the Flip4 seamless. She set up and transferred my (considerable) data and apps from my iPhone 13 (work) phone in a courteous, but not overly intrusive manner and did so while also assisting a mother/son combination who were upgrading their phones and adding smartwatches to their accounts. She toggled quietly between our collective five (5) devices all the while maintaining a really gracious, low-key manner. And she clearly knows her products. She also did this all beyond the stated closing hours of the store so that all three (3) of her customers went away with the best possible Verizon service and best possible customer service. I cannot state enough what an asset Wendy is to her particular store (Victra) and to Verizon and the home office should be made aware of same. Thank you -and thanks again, Wendy! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service, if I could give negative stars I would! I went into the store on May 28th looking for some help with my phone that had stopped working due to an issue with the charging port. The guy working did not seem pleased that he had a customer and didn't want to help really. I bought a wireless charger to temporarily fix the issue I asked for him to send the receipt via email (he never did). I called Verizon today to get a copy of the receipt as I need it to be reimbursed. Verizon tried to call the store and they would pick up the phone and hang up. I finally got fed up enough I went by the store while I was still on the phone with Verizon and watched them pick up and hang up on them and proceeded to ignore the call backs from Verizon. When I confronted them about the situation they stated they were helping customers in store there was only one customer in the store with two people working and the woman gave a ton of attitude when I asked for a receipt to be given. Honestly this store seems to be horribly run and the workers need to go to some training. read more

This is the WORST Verizon store I have ever been into! The most rudest man with so much attitude waited on me today. There was no hello..or "we will be right with you"...no greeting when any of us arrived. I had made an appointment/check-in with Verizon on the phone. They offered me times and I took a certain time. In addition, they checked to make sure this particular store had the phone I wanted in stock. They did and they reserved the phone and my appointment time. From the moment this guy opened his mouth in the store, he was so rude and cold. He hates his job..and people. He is in the wrong business. Good customer service brings back people. In then end he told me..."We don't have any phones" and "we never take appointments here". I said "but I made one with Verizon, you can look it up..I reserved a phone and time."
