Came in on a Saturday afternoon and there wasn't any customers so I was taken care of immediately. Lucky me. I won't bore you with all of the details, but I was having issues with my phone which is why I came in. Jose helped me out and explained what happened and how I can fix the problem should it arise again in the future. It took him about 5 minutes to fix the problem and he didn't even charge me for his time. I insisted on giving him a gratuity, but he declined. Jose really knows his stuff and was very helpful and friendly. Best experience I've ever had at any Verizon store, and I've been a customer for 20+ years. Thanks, Jose! This store is located at the outdoor mall in West Hollywood where Target and Best Buy are located. Their entrance is on the La Brea Avenue side of the building. I had truly an awful experience here. I go in to buy a new phone, and first the person there puts something wrong into the computer and doesn't know how to undo it, so he has to call and get help. Then the people there are unable to successfully move my data over, and I had to go to another Verizon store to get them to help me. I go back later to turn in my old phone, but then they tell me I have to remove Find My, but there's an hour security delay and the place is closing. So I go back a third time and they say the phone is already registered in the system as returned, so they ask me to come back a fourth time. I say no, and we agree that they will call me later that week. Of course they don't call. It also turns out the phone is locked so I can't use it for a dual SIM with my international SIM. They never disclosed this when I purchased the phone. When I called them, they explained to me that this was my fault for not asking them if it was locked or explaining how I planned to use my phone. I told them that they should disclose this to people who are purchasing the phone, and they say they don't need to and they won't in the future. I talked to a manager, and he filibustered without letting me speak and then hung up, again reiterating that it was my fault for not asking them whether the phone was locked. I have another job, and it is not my job to understand all of Verizon policy. It's their job to explain Verizon policy to me. They failed, and refused to take responsibility for doing so. Their service on to of this is slow, incompetent, and riddled with mistakes. And they are exceedingly rude, especially the manager. read more

This review is about Jose, who really brings customer service to a new level. My friend has been having ongoing chronic issues with his Pixel phone. To the point we went to the store to see about replacing it. Jose was courteous and patient and went through the options on the phone, none of which were financially feasible. Then he asked to see the phone to see what he could do. And in less than 5 minutes, he had the phone restored to its normal function, and he showed my friend what to do to keep it that way. No money, just good technical and customer support and an impressed visitor who will make a point of stopping by when it IS time for a new phone, because Jose took care of us when it mattered. read more

I moved to AT&T to connect with them, but I needed to unlock my phone, which I paid for with a loan from Verizon. They did not want to do this on the phone. The operator spoke to me very harshly and rudely. I came to their office in person. They told me I had to pay a certain amount, and I paid it. If I did not pay, they would not let me switch to another operator. The amount was paid, but after some time I started to get letters from a collection company saying I owe money to Verizon. This is real fraud. Never, in any case, deal with Verizon. People in this company are real bastards and scammers, and their service almost never has signal. read more

They sold me a whole home internet box. Said it was an upgrade from my white box. Representative said "it's a no brainer ".it would also save me 10$ a month going from 45$ to 35$ with faster speeds. After about 20 days I received my bill and it basically doubled. Which granted the phone I added had a connection fee. Going forward not My internet now costs 20$ more a month and he also unbeknownst to me added insurance 17$ a month to the phone I added a line with . Quite honestly I think the white box worked better. When I went back to discuss they made me wait 1 hour just to be spoken to. After speaking to the manager and be insulted by the representative whom clearly doesn't know the product he is selling with no resolve. I will never go back to this store . This place is notoriously slow. I came in 40 minutes ago. Thete was only one person to serve customers. He told me he was finishing up and woube right with me. Then he left and someone came from the back. They are still going and there is no sign they are going to be finished any time soon. All I need to do is buy a new USB cable. They could have asked what I needed and let me purchase the cable. But they are just chatting away and there is now someone else waiting. Such bad service! read more

If I could give it zero stars, I would. This was my worst customer service experience in a solid decade. DO NOT GO THERE. Go to the one on Vine and LaBrea instead. I came here to upgrade my phone and for some assistance with my total bill (I have Verizon internet, phone, and apple watch and wanted to know what can be done in terms of applying specials/promos to lower my total bill). I walked into this store at 6:05pm. A man with a long beard, whose name I do not know because he wasn't wearing a badge and never introduced himself, was assigned to help me. He immediately informed me that they close at 7pm. I said okay...it's 6:05pm now, what seems to be an issue? He said they close at 7pm and even if we're not done getting me a new phone by then, they leave at 7pm. I got even more confused and said it never took me longer than 15-20 minutes to upgrade my phone, I wasn't even planning to be here for a full hour so why would it be a problem that they close in an hour?...He repeated once again that he is "just letting me know" they need to be out by 7pm. At that point I flat-out asked him if he wanted me to leave, he said "it's up to you". I did tell him his attitude doesn't exactly make me want to be a customer here and he just shrugged his shoulders. Honestly, I should have left then but no, I stayed. Never in my life was a "just let know", 3 times that the store is closing at a certain time when I walk in an HOUR before the closing. I was told in order to upgrade my phone, I need to buy $100 worth of "qualifying accessories". I said what? Since when? I asked if they would be the case if I just order a new phone directly from Verizon, he said no but it's they are not a Verizon store but an independent retailer and these are their rules. I triple confirmed and he told me that no, I could not get a new iphone without buying a $100 worth of accessories from them. In addition, he provided absolutely zero assistance with my current plans, was borderline rude when I asked why the total on the screen doesn't match with what he is telling me and overall gave me an impression of the person who didn't want to be there, hated his job, hated me as a customer and made me feel very unwelcome. At this point, I just stood up and left that store. Never will I ever be back. I went straight to the one on Vine and LaBrea instead. I walked in about 15-20 before closing, apologized profusely but said I just wanted to know if have to buy a $100 worth of accessories in order to upgrade my phone. They looked at me like I was insane lol and said no and told me to take a seat and that they will take care of me, regardless of how long it would take. And boy did they deliver! I got my Iphone, apple watch, and internet upgraded, taken care of my total bill etc. They even stayed way past their closing time to help me. THAT is customer service. read more

HORRIBLE!!! Jose was helping me and Antonio or Arturo was the manager. I went in on a Tuesday with a problem on my S23 Samsung I hoped they could fix. Jose told me it was a problem with the upgrade and that since I'm still paying it off and with insurance they can pay off my phone and upgrade me to a S25 at no cost, except a one time fee and taxes. They also threw in the liquid screen. Very nice. UNTIL I went home and realized my texts didn't transfer. I went BACK and he couldn't figure out why so I decided to take the loss. I went home and my apps werent' working. I worked on the phone and the next day discovered why. My phone was a 256 gb and they gave me a 125. It was filled!!!!! I went in AGAIN and he even said he should have checked that better. A new phone was ordered and I went in to get it today. They ended up charging me for the liquid screen. I said, "But this wasn't my fault" and this is what got me angry. Jose said, "It wasn't MY fault! I'm not going to take responsibility for this!" The manager tried telling me how NICE they were that they didn't charge me a restocking fee!!! CHARGE ME? TO RESTOCK SOMETHING YOU GAVE ME WRONGLY??????? Be careful at this store!!!!!!! read more

Couldn't have gotten better service from Jose and Andy. I bought a new phone a week ago, and Jose made the entire experience easy and the transition from one to another seamless. He went through my bill and usage and even found me some additional discounts that I didn't know about. Recently switched over to Verizon last month. This day specifically happen to be my twin daughters high school graduation day. My daughters phone stopped working completely, so we went over to our neighborhood, Verizon, wireless location, and met Arturo! He most definitely understood the assignment! It was super important that all our phones are working for such a special day. Not only did we get brand new phones, we were also able to get credit for our old ones as well as setting us up with an amazing deal on our new plan! He made sure everything was set up smoothly, making sure all our information was transferred over successfully into the new phones and delicately putting each screen protector and covers on our phones. My husband and I both had issues we needed resolved with Verizon so we went to the nearest location to our house (sunset & vine). They were super busy so we called this location hoping they'd be less busy. Jose answered and let us know at the moment they're not too busy so we came by. Hello everyone! And happy holidays!! I just want to knowledge my experience here at Verizon store. Actually, this is out of my way, but I didn't have a great experience at the other store near by me which is in Beverly connection so I decided to try a different location and what a difference!! This experience was really outstanding customer service. There were only two people in there. I was help I gentleman name, Andy which is I found out later on he was a store manager. he really helped me in every way and I walked out from that store with a huge smile not like the other store now I am not gonna say my experience there because I'm not that kind of person, but it was not a good experience but this location with Andy he walk me through everything literally and then someone else came in and she just cut me off and try to be really rude, and he was so calm it was unbelievable. Andy handle it like Champion! I was very impressed. I am definitely only going to this location from now on and I'm going to refer so many people I work in sales as well.
