This week, I went in to this location planning to purchase a new phone. I didn't want to adjust my plan or do anything else; I just wanted to buy a phone and I knew I was going to pay full retail and was okay with that. The rep helping me, needed manager assistance. Enter Alyx. Alyx came out and insisted on chatting with me about my plan before helping me buy a phone. This was very frustrating to me; although, I do feel she was genuinely trying to improve my plan, service, and experience. She made some good points so ultimately, I left, without a phone, to do more research on the plan change recommendations. I figured out what plan change I wanted to make and went back in the next day. I started working with someone else, who was able to make the plan changes I requested (although she was not engaged or friendly). Then, when I finally got to the one thing I came in for - buying a new phone! - the new rep recommended I go to Apple to buy the phone. I almost exploded inside. I just wanted to buy a phone at full price, and I couldn't understand why they keep 'strongly' encouraging me away from this. After a few minutes with this rep, who seemed to be uninterested in our conversation, I was about to leave in shock that for a second day I was leaving without a new phone. Seconds before I got up, Alyx, the manager from the day before came over and asked how things were going (she had been helping someone else when I walked in). I explained the situation and she immediately started doing what she did the night before - looking up options to make it work. Long story short, I did leave that second day with a new phone and a new plan that I feel good about. This was the most frustrating experience I've had buying a new phone; however, in the end, I am grateful for Alyx. Her persistence, knowledge, and genuine concern for getting me to a better plan/service was what lead to me getting the phone I came in for and ending this transaction in a better situation than when I entered, even though I tried to push back the first day. In the past, reps would just sell me the phone, which was great for the moment. But Alyx wasn't just considering the moment; she was looking out for me in the longer term. She took the time to sit down with me, explain what I needed to know (even though I didn't want to hear it). She pushed back when I tried to be firm and just buy the phone, and she kept listening and searching to find the best solution for me. Although, I was initially annoyed by this experience, in the end, I am better off and it is because of Alyx not just doing what I asked, but doing what was better for me as a long-term Verizon customer. She cared and was professional and friendly and I appreciate her help. If I only dealt with Alyx, I'd give 5 stars. I am giving 4 because not everyone at This store is like Alyx. Even the rep on day 2 was not going to attempt looking for a solution for me and instead was going to let me walk out, frustrated and upset, to go buy a phone elsewhere. I love Verizon overall, and I hope they fill all their stores with people like Alyx. read more

Walked in about 10 minutes after it opened on a Saturday morning. I was met by Jim. Super friendly guy to deal with! I turned in a phone that I had for trade-in and informed him that I had also bricked my brand new phone. He just gave me a laugh and said it wouldn't be a problem. In and out within 20 minutes, parted with a handshake. Heard bad things about this location, but if Jim is working, someone's going to get some real assistance! read more

Horrible customer service. Wait time was excessive and they had no sense of urgency to assist the customers. Would have been helpful if they would recommend doing all of the work online and just pick up the phone the next day. read more

I went to the Verizon store to purchase a new phone for my son & add him to my existing phone plan. I waited my turn at the door to check in on Sat 3/25 & was informed it will be 1-1.5 hour wait unless we have an appointment. I have not purchased a new phone in several years and did not know I needed an appt. I was asked if I wanted to make an appt, but it sounded like booking for next week. The individual at the door was not rude about it, but recommended we go home & call Verizon or "order online". I decided to leave and try the telephone option. I drove back home & ordered a phone over the telephone to "add a line" with a Verizon representative. I felt that went fine & the sales person on phone was pleasant. Verizon Rep on phone once ordered said the Verizon store could assist us in activating new phone, transferring data & cancellation of old service. My son was excited to get his new phone & we went to the Verizon store-Hudson WI location today when we received a text from Verizon that our phone is ready for pick-up. We waited our turn at the door & were met by "Specialist-Jason". Jason was not friendly or helpful and this turned into a bad experience for us. Jason seemed to be the "Gatekeeper" there and we struggled to get past the door. He asked to see my photo ID/Driver's License & informed us before we even got the phone we will need to call a 1-800 number to activate phone. Everything was "no, we don't do that anymore", followed by "you will need to call this number" from your phone. My son mentioned we were told by Verizon Rep on phone they could help us IN store. Jason then said "Well, we can do that, but it will be a fee of $29.99 to activate the new phone in store". We were also told they technically could transfer data, but that will also be a separate $29.99 fee". The request to cancel old service was just declined outright. I think what really struck me was "Jason" seemed more interested in telling us "what they don't do" than actually giving us the new phone we came to pick-up. When "Jason" went to get the new phone he put it in a bag without showing us the phone and set it on a table in the store where I could see the bag, but never handed it to us. We definitely could have driven home only to realize Jason never actually gave us the phone as it was still sitting on the table where he set it. He did, however, hand us a post-it note with the "1-800 number to call" to do all the things the Verizon store no longer does anymore. I realized when we turned to leave we were never given the phone. I pointed to the bag in the store telling my son to run to get it as we never made it past the front door. In summary, Jason was not helpful and his main goal seemed to be to turn customers away at the door. It was a Sunday & no customers were waiting behind us. In short, "Jason" liked the word "no" and his demeanor reminded me of the guy who stands outside a bar as a bouncer. He's the guy who determines if he's going to let you into the nightclub or not. Well, he did not let us in and we almost left without our new phone. I'm not really sure what Jason does do there, but he definitely did not help us. read more

We waited over 30 minutes to be helped. After taking our names we were completely ignored. When I came in I was told there were two people in front of us. After 30 minutes of waiting with zero acknowlegdments or updates we left. I asked how much longer and the rude old woman wouldnt even make eye contact with me while speaking! We will not be switching and I highly recommend checking out Sprint. They were much more attentive and respectful. read more

Verizon between in the Hudson, Wi store and reps on line can not get their crap together and do what's being told to a customer! I was told by a customer service rep to bring my phones back to the store so that they would definitely get returned before my 30 days are up. I actually brought them to the store I picked up at and the service was absolutely terrible! The male rep was sorry but a complete ass! I returned as I was told and told him that as well. Since was with in our 30 day I was also told we would get a full refund!! The jerk customer service rep said nope can't take until u pay a $100 restocking fee! I was told would have nothing like that and told him. He kept arguing as if was making an example to other customers in there by speaking extremely rude and loud. I told him this is what I was told to do so I was leaving them there with our receipt so they get applied. I did tell them never had a company been so nasty and disrespectful. And that the service didn't work in pretty much every place we were not even our house. Then I left. Still no credit on my bill, but not giving up! Verizon as far as I'm concerned went down hill and are crooks If would let me give negative stars I would! read more

I feel completely scammed. I work in an environment where the chances of breaking my phone are high, and I was told if I purchased the insurance provided by Verizon that my phone would be replaced if it ever broke. I even went on to ask specifically if it would be replaced if it was run over with a fork lift or dropped on concrete. I was told an absolutely confident YES. Due to this I purchased a V10(an extremely nice phone) with insurance only to have Verizon tell me they won't replace my phone when it eventually broke. I was however asked to pay off the remainder of my phone cost and to start payments on a new phone. I am so disappointed and feel that I was just the victim of a bait and switch. read more

This place really took a nosedive during the pandemic. Checked the open hours (that had just been updated four days prior on Google), great they're still open. Loaded the family up only to find out they are actually closed, which was interesting considering the sign in the window, and the internet, both claimed they were open. W/e we'll come back. Returned the next time and they were open so we walk in, after being ignored for the first few minutes we're in there, a sales rep begrudgingly came over to ask if we have an appointment. An appointment?? For Verizon?! No we don't have an appointment, can we make one? No we're booked an she has an appointment coming in in a few minutes. Just rude altogether. I hope these people don't work on commission because they're are just turning away people left and right. Being life long Verizon clients we walked out of the store and switched to AT&T, good riddance. read more

Management does not stand by what the salespeople tell you! Lied to me about actual BOGO cost, told me my 2nd iphone was free when it was not. Now stuck in a 2 yr contract paying for a phone I hate! Would not recommend Verizon to anyone! It is fraud to give someone inaccurate information in an effort to get them to make a financial decision, but that is just what happened here. read more
