Pre-existing health conditions have made it difficult to work since Covid, so I've had to depend on my parents. My father was paying my phone bill. To make it easier, he switched to my Verizon account which came with a rebate. 5 months later my father passed. I contacted Verizon to figure out my options and was told that due to the circumstance I could simply return the phone and owe nothing. I returned the phone and there's now a charge of $533 on my account for the rebate. I assumed I'd still owe the money, so I'm not upset about that. I'm upset about the lie and false comfort. Thanks for making a painful situation worse. For the first 2 weeks or so that he had the phone it wasn't activated. I called LITERALLY EVERYDAY and was always told "It's on now"; it wasn't. Had there been an emergency with his children, grandchildren, or my mother, no one could have reached him. He would've missed calls for work, business, and anything else. I had to find time between doctors' visits to take the phone to a physical location. All the guy did was have me dial a number on the phone and follow the steps. That was it. My father didn't have a phone for weeks because no one told me to simply dial the activation number. Verizon did nothing to compensate for any of this. read more

Absolutely terrible service. First time I went I waited a half hour before someone asked me what I needed and I just needed a pickup that was handled in less than 5mins. This recent visit I waited OVER AN HOUR just to drop off my trade in. Kept being told I couldn't even though the website said I could. Then had 2 people serviced before me althought they arrived after me, just so I can be given a box and told to go to UPS to drop it off. Never again with this store. I was in the store on 7/28 purchasing a new phone. The associate that helped me was Stevie and I had a wonderful experience with him. He was knowledgeable, answered every question I had, and I was out the door within an hour with a brand new iPhone. I also want to add that there was a very disgruntled man (who has absolutely no sense of what it takes to run a business in an orderly fashion) who caused a major scene, even yelling curse words with small children in the store, and every associate on the floor handled it with grace and professionalism. I know that not everyone has a positive experience in places like this but mine was so good, I had to share it. I totally have to disagree with Colt C.'s review. Maybe the staff has changed since that review was written, but I was here today. Now let me preface by saying that I am not a Verizon Wireless customer and after the experience my friend had today, I will never be one. So yesterday, she upgrades her phone to the new Blackberry Curve 8530. Today, at work, she realizes that there's a piece of dust under the screen (which according to Google searches is a very common problem). We go to this location after work today, arriving at 4:20pm. We walk in and the guy at the door asks what type of service we need there today. She tells him about the dust and he stands there literally for 5 minutes trying to wipe the dust off of the screen, even after she repeatedly told him that it was UNDER the screen. So, she puts her name on the list for service and we realize that she's 10th in line. Ugh. So, she spots the guy who helped her yesterday and goes to him to ask him if it's a quick fix. He says that she'd have to let service look at it. So as we're loitering around the store, he comes up to her and says he's going to have his manager look at it. So we still are waiting for either the manager or for her to be called into service. After about 45 minutes, she's next in line for service. The guy at the counter, who was a complete moron, again, tries to wipe the dust off the phone. HELLO?! What part of "IT IS UNDER THE SCREEN" did you not understand? So, he takes it over for another technician to survey. Yep, he tries to wipe it off too, until they finally come to the conclusion, GENIUSES, that it's UNDER the screen. So they try to spray air the dust out. FAIL. End result. She gets a new phone. It takes them almost 30 minutes to set this phone up. We leave the store at 6pm. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER have service with Verizon Wireless because of this. I heart Sprint. And yes, I know not ever location has this problem, but it only takes one bad experience for someone to make up their mind and for me this did it. I honestly don't even think they smiled ONCE or said thank you, have a good day, kiss my ass or anything. I wish I could give them a 1/2 star as a review, because they don't even deserve one full star. Customer service at this location SUCKS! read more

Worst service I have ever had in 3 years with Verizon. Let's start off saying that the store was empty and still I had to wait over 25 minutes to be seen (no I am not exaggerating) but okay I waited patiently. So finally this lady comes to speak to me, her name was Stacy or Tracy, I can't quite remember and she asked what I needed so I told her that I wanted to upgrade from my iPhone 6 to the 6S, and she goes "what is wrong with your phone?" I already thought the question was a little inappropriate but okay, so I went ahead and told her that it was time for my upgrade and asked what kind of plans they are offering since all other companies came up with "iPhone Forever" plans or whatever, and she simply says "that's just basically upgrading your phone every year" and didn't even mention the edge program or anything else since Verizon does offer financing plans. So she finally tells me that they don't even have the phone availabe at the store and that I'd just have to wait till next month and says how Apple does this every year and it's just their marketing strategy... Once again, very inappropriate since I'm an Apple client, and I explained how I just needed a bigger phone and she goes "maybe you need a tablet" and I answered I already have one, then she says how "you Apple people are funny" After that I was just done and walked out the store very frustrated. I've never been treated like that, She was extremely unprofessional and made no effort to answer my questions or help me at all. read more

A representative met me outside and told me they are changing there hours just for today to 6:00 pm instead of 8:00 pm. And that they couldn't see me due to that. The Verizon employee at this location that helped me this past Sunday was Avion, and she successfully added my wife to my family plan and setup service on my wife's basic phone. Avion was friendly, understanding, and impressively knowledgeable during the whole process. Her empathy and patience were unmatched by any other customer service experiences I've had in probably the past 10 years. She has inspired me to continue going above and beyond for customers at my job as I have been reminded of how pleasant it is to be assisted by a thoughtful, well-mannered individual. I had a very very very bad experience about 3-weeks ago at another Verizon (Smyrna, GA) store. It appeared that Verizon's district manage (Gina) just didn't care. The bottom line now is that the issue has been partially resolved. However, the rep at this different store (Marietta, GA), Hollis Power was very empathetic and demonstrated very good customer service. She was awesome and I appreciated her diligence. While my faith in Verizon's customer service is not fully restored...it was refreshing to interact with a rep of Ms. Power's character. Was originally really happy with the service the first time I visited this store. Terrance (sp?) was a good guy, and while he might have talked me into a more expensive phone, the service and expertise was exceptional. I spend a lot of money with Verizon as mobile is part of my business. So, when I got attitude and poor service a couple weeks ago when returning ONE of six phones, because I didn't like it, I decided it'd be wise to update my review. I had to open a new line for my elderly mother since we were adding a line and could only have five on our plan. We specifically asked if Verizon-to-Verizon minutes would be unlimited and we were assured it would be. After my mother and I talked that night (teaching her how to use her iPad), I received notice of 300 minutes of overage! When returning aforementioned phone the next day, she refused to drop the charges, even after admitting she could have switched that feature on for free. $85! Seriously. She also then proceeded to give us a lecture for returning a phone...nevermind the fact that I the right to for 14 days under THEIR contract rules. If I can't get someone to drop these frivolous charges by the next billing cycle, you're looking at a former Verizon customer - all because of this store. Beware. I will never set foot in that store again, myself. read more

I had the worst experience last night at this store. The representative I had was unpleasant and had an unpleasant odor. EJ was my rep but the guy helping a lady beside me was more helpful than EJ. Things went left after my rep disappeared into the stock room for 22 minutes. Then reappeared with the iPhone X, iPad and an Apple watch. I only wanted the X iphone. Finally he transferred my contacts over, then told me to download the apps when I get home because it would take several hours for my apps to download due to the internet service at the Verizon store being shared with customers at Olive Garden (he was and idiot). I knew he was full of it so I asked if I could wait for everything to download. This took about 30 minutes. This coward ran in the back to tell his supervisor that my daughter had her four pound Yorkie in the store, so the asked her to leave.Thanks to a young lady who was trying to sell me a Canary camera came out and finished the process. They left my old iPhone 7 on the counter, I had to find someone to make sure the my old phone was wiped clean and my trade in would be processed. This was a nightmare. Unless you want to be pressured into devices and accessories you don't need, stay away from the Barrett Parkway Corporate store, these people sucked!!!! Customer service was ZERO!! read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I absolutely would. I went into this location to purchase and iphone6 and was helped by an associate. The associate was nice and helpful and he proceeded to help me purchase the phone. He had successfully completed the transaction of trading in my iphone 5s and then he was ringing up my iphone 6. He then made a phone call to his "boss" for a code needed to enter into the computer to complete the transaction when the "boss" told him to not sell me the phone. So the associate got off the phone and told me that he could not sell me the iphone6 because I had to purchase the phone directly from Apple if I wanted to buy the phone outright, which is a complete LIE!!! My guess is that they are holding phones and selling them at a steeper price for people willing to do that. Whatever happened to the days of good customer service? I have never experienced anything so stupid and corrupt at a cell phone store. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! read more
