Absolute scammers. Just paid off a device, went in for a I went in to purchase a I phone 14 pro max which is the phone I wanted. Verizon employee insisted I got the 14 pro because there was a promotion for that phone at the cost of 300 dollars. I agreed to get the phone because I could pay the phone off fast and potentially upgrade when a new model came out. They have a 30 day return policy and after those 30 days pass, I seen may bill and it states they charged me 899.99 for the phone I really never wanted. Completely unhappy with this poor excuse for a phone. I will be leaving verizon asap, so many hidden fees that aren't discussed with you, poor customer service and very expensive. Verizon is a Joke. I came here with my mom. She was looking to finally upgrade her iPhone 4s. The service she received was phenomenal! Ted, the manager, and Lyzet an associate went above and beyond to help her with all her needs. Lyzet opened up her account and looked at her current plan and figured out a way to save her $48 a month with a different plan. Ted waived the cost of the jet pack she was interested in since she also buying a phone, in addition to the activation fee. Ted also discounted the price of her phone by $100! Lyzet took the time to setup both her devices for her. This was especially great because my mom is not so great with that part. This was a time consuming adventure, but Lizet was very patient and kind. I highly recommend coming in and asking for her if you're looking for new service or a new device, she's great! This was definitely a great experience for my mom. Both Lyzet and Ted were awesome, thanks for all your help. We'll be back! This store is located in the back of the mall where the Ritz Camera store used to be. It's close to Walmart and there is plenty of parking close to the store if you need to run in to pay a bill or whatever. It's actually a pretty large sized phone store. It's well organized and clean. We went over everything until I finally was able to confidently make a decision. When I got home I noted a mistake in my order. I saw him a few days later and what I thought would be some sorta messy ordeal, was handled with the utmost integrity. I was really surprised! I came into the store to get my iPhone 11 Pro updated to the iPhone 14 Pro. The salesman were all very rude and rushed me throughout the whole process while I was transferring all my information from my old phone to my new phone. The guy said he would have to help someone else and return when my phone was uploaded when my phone was finished uploading the guy said I would have to wait 30 minutes for him to put a screen protector on not only that, he didn't finish the deal he never gave me the return label to mail the old phone back so I went to UPS and I found out there was no label I had to return to Verizon and because of the guy guy rushing me along with not finishing the deal and making me wait 30 minutes to put a screen protector on I wasn't sure of many things one being if I had insurance on my new phone, forgetting to give me the sticker to mail my old phone back along with every other salesman being rude, besides one man named Keon. I had the worst experience at this Verizon location. I wanted to upgrade my phone to the iPhone 12 so I came on a Saturday around 4pm. My husband and I were greeted by a salesman outside taking our info to be put on a waitlist. He seemed really annoyed to even speak with us and tried his hardest just to get rid of us. He said if I wanted to upgrade just to go online and do it. I said I would rather speak to someone so my question get answered about upgrading to 5g. He sighed and said "fine, if you want to wait 3 hours to talk to someone be my guest". I left my name anyway because I figured he must be having a bad day. I went over to the food court and waited. I got a text 45 minutes later saying I was 2nd in line. I thought, they would send me another text when it was my actual turn like they do at Apple, well I was wrong. I went over 30 minutes later to see if it was my turn yet and was greeted by the actual store manager this time. I explained I left my name on the list and was checking the time... well he couldn't find my name. I told him I got a text and have been waiting for another text once it was my turn and so he goes inside to see what happened. He comes out to tell me that text I got was actually a text to tell me it was my turn. I explained that it said I was 2nd in line and he said "I don't know what to tell you. Try another location or go online" No wonder the employees have an ugly attitude, I got a taste of it from their own manager. I know that most people have negative things to say about wireless service providers, regardless of the company, but I had the most amazing experience today at the Verizon store in Grossmont center in La Mesa. There is an employee there that really stands out for her knowledge and her demeanor. My mom's phone was stolen today and I went to Verizon to help her out. We were both very frazzled. Marilee S. was the most amazing customer service agent I've dealt with and such a long time. She spent time helping both myself and my mother with issues associated with restoring my account and getting the new phone, and she set me up with a new iPhone X and help transfer my old phone to my mother, a very time-intensive process. Everyone always praises Disney for having an amazing cast members, but if Verizon continues to support and encourage their outstanding employees like Marilee S., They'll earn a reputation for the best in the business. The Customer Service my wife and I received yesterday was below average;quite honestly, it was poor. I think the guy's name was Matt. My wife needed help with her account and I was going to port a Sprint line over. Verizon had messed up BYOD promo with my mother-in-law, by taking my Wife's device payment and putting it on the BYOD (which already had a paid off S7 EDGE). He wasn't much of a help , he just told my wife to call customer service or something. He asked where we got the phone, we said Bestbuy, and later he was bad mouthing BestBuy. BestBuy wasn't the one who cause the issue, it was VERIZON, Matt....and he didn't seem too interested in the issue;BUT HEY, that's what happens when you ask help from people who only care about their commission, they most likely suck in customer service. Then when it came time to port my number over, it was pretty quick, but he just put the sim in and didn't even wait to see if the line was active, he just said is there anything else while the phone booted up and left. I used to work in Customer Service, and I was pretty good at it. Lot's of people now a days lack the Customer Service skill. I went to the tmobile store that was 3 doors down so they can help retrieve a code that I needed. Tmobile did not help me they told me to call customer service. I will begin by letting you know that I am not a Verizon customer but was floored by the help I still received from Kynan Pearce. I had an unlocked Verizon phone that I was trying to connect to a different provider but the phone was asking for a Verizon activation before it could be used. It was 20 minutes to closing and Kynan had two other customers he was working with when I had walked in. Without denying those customers any attention he helped me register my phone in between the moments he had free. Kynan took better care of me than my own service provider. I bought my daughter a new phone and started a new 2 year contract on Oct 8, 2017. I told the female rep that I wanted to build my good credit. I was told that they do report good credit to the credit bureaus. I paid the bill on time for 2 years every month. In October of this year I called up to see if they had reported my excellent credit yet. I was told by another representative that they only report negative credit to the credit bureaus. So the first representative totally misinformed me. Maybe just to get me to buy an iPhone and start a new 2 year contract. Hmmm. I pulled my line from them on Nov 14 of 2019. When I called in to see what my last bill would be, first I was told they would owe me $ 1.33. Then I was told I owed $78.39. So they are billing me for the full month even though it was only used for 6 days. Please be aware of the scamming and misrepresentation by this company and it's sales representatives. Their goal is only to sell phones and contracts they will make promises they do not keep, and the company does not back up what their representatives say. Which is illegal to do in the real world. I came in to simply port over a phone number from my previous provider, as we recently joined a new Verizon family plan. From walking through the door, the staff never seemed too interested in my needs, and in the brief dialog we had, the most helpful thing she did was put me on the phone with another rep (who's customer service was much better). She did not even hang around the area while I gave the phone rep my information, so I had to find her again once that call had ended and (hope) that was all that was needed to be done. It was not. I had to come back the next day because no one mentioned that I'd be needing a new SIM card. I came back after work, spoke to a new staff member, who was at least a bit more cordial, but while swapping out the SIM card she BENT the SIM tray in my iPhone X, to the point where it was a jagged hook protruding from the side of my phone. When I told her about it, she just looked at it and said, and I quote, "...we don't sell that piece by itself." So, not only did she bend the tray, but had the audacity to think it was on me to buy a replacement. Great service. I would absolutely stay away from this branch if at all possible. read more

I went back to the store " explaining we are having issues returning the phones online". I explained my situation and I encountered an employee who was being extremely condescending and rude. She would not look up our account or help. Finally since I would not leave and kept on telling her numerous times....you can look our info up from your store computer (definitely going back so I can get her name) but she did not want to be bothered to do this task. She finally printed out my receipt and gave the necessary info , so that i could return our phones to the store. On 10/16/21 I returned with all my phones expecting poor service and having do all the work myself. But instead "RAFAEL BAHENA" was a ROCK star . He returned all of my phones . Do not purchase a phone from this store, the phone I purchased was pre owned and resold to me as new.. which I found out a year later when I broke it and it was registered to someone else. The phone I had before this one they said they could not connect, which I gave to someone else who promptly connected it through Verizon. I brought the phone back after having the screen fixed and apple telling me it was registered to someone else, to see if they can at least give me some insight to why the failures are happening in their store. "Seek legal advice." Before going into the store I called corporate to give me insight. They said the phone was refurbished and to take it back to the store to get compensation. Of course I'm going back to corporate and calling Apple to see it through to the end. Manager was as nice as he could be, but ultimately failed in resolving anything.
