Me and my mom went to go see if there was a problem with my phone while there was a nationwide outage today January 14, 2026. The person working there had nothing but attitude. My mother is a very nice dainty af woman and she was very calm and she had some questions because she was confused, there was another Asian lady there as well and she was being very sweet and she had questions because she was confused. They were both met with customer service that felt like we didn't matter and their questions were too stupid to be asked. In today's society with the fkd up administration that we have the last thing that we need is someone in customer service who can't suck it up and do their job and just be kind and answer these old freaking women's questions without making them feel like they shouldn't be asking them in the first place because they should just know these things. I get it, old people are annoying with technology but you don't have to be an ahole about it especially when that's your job. Everyone is going through shit. There was a man who looked like he came from work and skipped his lunch for this problem. It was just awful customer service. Train your workers better, everyone is going through shit yet we still find ways to be kind. Not to mention the worker tried to talk down to me saying that if I go home I'll have Wi-Fi. I just came from my house that did not have Wi-Fi. Also Verizon you do suck in general, don't think people can't put two and two together on why the service is down for some people.

Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully.
