Went it for a new phone. Didn't read the Yelp reviews first, wish I had. Sure enough, ended up with a "free" Ipad and other phone, which I now have to pay monthly fees for. But the worst part was that it took HOURS for our salesperson Tarek to help not only my husband and I, but another family of 4 that were switching to a family plan. Meanwhile, another lazy employee did not offer to help him once. The other family got take out and ate it in the store, that's how backed up Tarek was, but this lazy co-worker made himself scarce. I spent 24 hrs working with 4 different technical support agents. My phone wouldn't send messages to a group. Each time I got support the phone got worse - to the point I couldn't even make calls. I went down and spoke with Brian Gonzalez who straightened me out in 10 min. This place is dishonest. They signed me up for things I did not ask for. Upon returning I was told that the person that did that no longer worked there but they refused to address the situation. If I could I would be giving less than one star, It pained me to even give it that!! Best way to describe this business is SCAM ARTISTS!. Best advice is not to even walk through the door. Do not fall for any of their promotions and remember nothing is FREE! I should have known within one minute of my arrival as the manager was on the phone with an irate customer and was offering no solutions to his complaints just continued fighting and yelling at the customer. I don't know how the manager of this business became manager as his personality does not warrant it . He must be related to the owner. When I walked out i never dreamed i would be an irate customer the following morning. I had to confront that very unprofessional manager and got the same treatment that the customer on the phone got! the day before! I felt like I was visiting a mental Hospital instead of a phone store as he was totally off the wall with his unprofessional remarks to me and his unwillingness to address my concerns. Don't fall for "trade in your old phone and a tablet is part of the promotion. No trade in for me (naturally my old phone did not qualify for the promotion but he did give me the tablet. I told him I did not need that but he told me it was free so I took it thinking I would give it away to someone who could use it. Well that " Free tablet is 10 dollars extra every month and if you return it it is a $57.00 restocking fee and because it is part of the "promotion" if you don't take it your bill goes up $10.00 anyway.so needless to say I will be paying $10.00 plus taxes and fees for my free Tablet. This so called store is not Verizon Owned. Make sure you do not go here instead go to the real Verizon Store. I think there is one in Ledgewood but check first . Not 100% sure. This store is dishonest, misleading, and unhelpful. My phone was broken, so I wanted to replace my one phone. I was told they had a "great promotion" where I could get a free iPad and Apple Watch with my purchase of a new phone. I was very clear about not wanting to pay extra for anything besides a phone, which I was then assured that no extra payments would be made, which was a lie. Branden, my salesman, did not fully fill out forms until after I signed them and left. He neglected to share the actual cost of my monthly bill (more then double what he originally quoted me), and then avoided my emails and calls until 30 days was up so I couldn't return my products. I even showed up after 30 days past, and they wouldn't give me a copy of my whole contract. I then called the store two more times, was told they were "really busy" and would call back, which of course they failed to do. Do not go here. Do not trust them. I will be leaving Verizon for good. read more

Our sales person, Sam, couldn't have been more helpful. He was very attentive to our needs and spent a great deal of time getting my old smart phone reconnected to the Verizon system when my current phone failed. About 10 days later, when my repaired phone got back from LG in Texas, Sam gladly helped restore it to full operation. He was glad to answer any questions we had. The day my phone failed, my wife bought the new Samsung Note 7 and Sam spent all the time necessary to transfer information and apps from her old phone to the new one. He answered any questions we had on the new phone. He is very knowledgeable. Almost 2 weeks later, we awoke to hear on the morning news that the new Note 7 had experienced exploding batteries. We didn't want to have that "time bomb" in the house as nice as the phone is. As soon as the store opened, we met with the manager, Sean, who also owned that new phone but hadn't yet heard of the problem himself. We were within the 14 day return period, so with no trouble at all we were able to return the phone for a full refund. Sean was very helpful and restored my wife's old phone back to full operation. We would certainly recommend using the Verizon Wireless Zone store located next to the Starbucks in Mansfield. Super service and very knowledgeable and helpful personnel. read more

Karl at the Hackettstown store was so helpful and patient. When I first arrived he was with a customer so he gave me a loaner phone so that I could make contact with my family as my phone had totally crashed. Returning a few hours later he spent hours with me while we went through the arduous task of setting up a new phone. He made sure I knew how to navigate the phone and worked to afford me the best possible deal available to me. I am a long time user of Verizon and continue to stay with Verizon for my mobile needs. Customer Service within an organization is always about the person that you are given to assist you. One person can give a company a bad reputation if that customer feels they were not greeted attentively or treated fairly. Karl went above and beyond for me in every aspect. If you are lucky enough to have him in your corner you are sure to get the service that you deserve as a loyal Verizon customer. Verizon is lucky to have him! I went in this past week because my phone was outdated and glitching. Dayna helped me so insanely much and explained everything so I could understand. I rarely give 5 stars, but the staff of the wireless zone has been so outstanding that I am giving them 5 stars. I have used this store for my phone purchases for many years and recently purchased the new note 7 from Samsung. The staff spent time with me transferring my old phone data to the new one. Then the phone was recalled,within a week the store had my replacement phone, once again transferring data from one phone to another. Then the Note 7 was discontinued,they told me to come in and they swapped out the old phone with a brand new galaxy edge. One more transfer and I have a phone that hopefully won't burn up on me. They even let me swap out the phone cover I had purchased for the note 7 without charge. They didn't have to do that, but they went the extra mile to keep their customers happy. Thank you! read more
