My initial greeter told him to just give me a phone number and get me out of there. There were clearly a lot of customers. Also alarming. When I finally went to someone else for help. He put me in queue again. And the final young man whom I cannot remember his name. Drove accord town with my 80 year old mother for assistance with transferring her account to mine and transferring her old phone info into new phone. Employee gave me two printouts as apparently it's now customers job to do this themselves. 4 hours later and two calls with Verizon support (who were wonderful) we found out we needed forms filled out that were at store as well as SIM cards that were at store. This store is horrible. I can't believe it took this long to write a bad review of them. A couple months ago went we went to buy new iPhones. We put our names in, and waited... and waited... and waited. Turns out the person we gave our name to just forgot to put us in the queue... and when we brought it up they just offered to put our names in again.... which would have been an hour wait. Second fail... we came back the next weekend and bought iPhones. My wife saw I have visual voicemail on mine, so she went to this horrible horrible store to ask how to activate it on hers as well. They tried to tell us that a soft reset is how you turn the apple phone off and that's how apple has done it for over five years. Then proceeded to mockingly laugh as if they proved we didn't know what they were doing. They were more interested in getting us out of their empty store than earning their paycheck. Even if they were half as smart as they thought they were they would have realized we were there to pick up a new phone that was already payed for, which was stated over three times. Came I today to upgrade our phones. I've never been to this location, I was helped by Sarai at the Rainbow and 215 location so I continue to see her. She was working at this location when I went in and I was very satisfied. The wait wasn't too long and the new location is very big and spacious. They offer more phone accessories, ECT. After completing our upgrade we noticed our car chargers were not working. We turned the car around and talked to Denise who was the general manager. She was extremely pleasant to work with. After trying out 4 individual car chargers she finally suggested we try the Verizon issued chargers. They were a little more expensive, and are offered in 4 different colors. These chargers worked and she told us not to worry about the difference in price. Thank you Sarai and Denise for making my expensive trip to Verizon pleasant and not stressful! read more

I've been a Verizon customer for a long time, and also worked for their tech support department- I've never had a bad experience, until yesterday. I went in to get my wife switched over from AT&T to my plan. An Associate by the name of Rosa helped us but she might've well of not. She was VERY dismissive, and rushing us out the door while incessantly reminding us that she is off in 15 minutes. She seemed like she did not care about the experience at all besides when she was offering to sell us new products that we had no use for. Not to mention, when my phone would not download new software- she wanted me to leave my old one with the store with the passcode and all my data on it. when I told her I was not comfortable with this she said, "well we close soon so you'll have to do that or wipe your old phone completely clean before the new one is finished updating." She then started offering any solution she could think of to remedy the problem, which I knew would not work- being as technologically proficient as I am. To top it all off, when we left we noticed that my wife's phone cannot receive calls. We've been on and off the phone with tech support for two days with no resolve. I'm embarrassed that I told my wife to switch and at this point she wouldve been better staying with her old provider. read more

I don't know why they don't make the extra effort of just smiling or saying, we will be right with you but they don't like to acknowledge you much only to put your name on a waiting list and when it is actually your turn even then customer service interaction is to a minimal and very lifeless. These people are here to strictly collect a check and consume the AC provided. Even when there is a list of people waiting around, you will still see workers standing around and having full on loud conversations and let you wait until they are finished. We finally broke down and bought the Son a cell phone....we resisted for many years, but he's a good kid and deserves it. So, we went to the nearest Verizon Wireless Store for him to pick one. When you walk in, you have to check in with a Verizon employee, otherwise you won't get served. We browsed around for a while and he picked his phone. I noticed there was a self service payment machine, which is convenient (see pics). The person who assisted us was very friendly and we were in/out of there within 20 minutes of walking in.....what a miracle! Will I return? Next time I need a phone, probably. read more

This is a horrible store for customer service. Avoid this store if you can. The manager, his name is Patt, has a bad attitude and very rude. The only representative that is helpful, knowledgeable, with good customer service is Teri - she wants to help and is excellent - they should make her the manager. The salesman who helped me was very helpful and nice to work with but I expressed how I was also considering joining my boyfriends account so we can save money on our bill. He said that was no problem we can call in to do that if we decide on it BUT never mentioned I would lose my credit from my trade in if I did that. I tried to return the unopened screen protector and portable battery because I simply didn't need them like I thought. The Verizon app would not allow us to make an appointment at this location, therefore I called customer service where I was instructed to go to the Flamingo location to return a phone case. Upon arriving at the Flamingo store, I was told I couldn't return the case here, and had to go to the Boca Park location. When my wife and I arrived here, we were told there was a 30-45 minute wait since we didn't have an appointment. Keisha, the manager, told my wife this. My wife responded she couldn't wait that long, to which the manager responded that she couldn't help us and turned her back to us. I then entered the store, and tried to explain our situation to her and how we had been sent on a wild goose chase all day to return this case. She would not allow us to talk, and cussed at us. While we were waiting the 30 minutes, the manager sat at her desk the entire time, staring at us while not helping any other customers. When we finally received help to return the case, our problem was resolved in less than a minute. Very dissatisfied with the customer service I received at this location from Eric today. I received a new iPhone 6 in the mail on Saturday from Verizon via FedEx at 6pm. I then charged the phone and activated it. All seemed normal until I realized I could not send or receive text messages. I used a friends phone to call tech support, who then tried to re-activate it. The reactivation did not work, but left my phone unable to make calls, texts or use data. I could, however, use iMessage only on wifi. It was after 8pm at this point and all stores were closed. I had to call back to tech support the following day (Easter) to try once again to get the issue solved. They figured out I needed a new SIM card because for some reason transferring from my old iPhone 6 to a new iPhone 6 wasn't working properly. I was advised I could wait 3 days for a new one or go into a store. I went into this store today and met with Eric. I explained myself and he said ok let's get you a new SIM card. When he returned with the new SIM card he started asking me if I had an iPad, because I was able to buy a hotspot unit for $30 and get 1g extra on my plan totaling in 5g, for roughly the same price I was paying monthly. I understand he's doing his job and looking to sell, but I didn't really say much because I wasn't exactly in the mood to be up sold after not having phone access for 2 days and missing out on calling my family (who lives in Ohio) on Easter. After I let him know I wasn't interested, he suggested I should have come in sooner for them to take care of the issue. I informed him that I would have, but the stores were all closed for the holiday yesterday. He went on to say how I could have come Saturday, to which I responded have a nice day and walked away. For reference, when you're dealing with a clearly unsatisfied and bothered customer 1. Don't try to upsell them 2. Be apologetic, since the SIM card not working was your fault 3. Don't argue with the customer insisting what you say is correct when you don't have all the details.
