I hate Cox! And my area has no other providers! Step it up vegas! This is bs! Every month towards the end of my bill cycle on my UNLIMITED PANORAMIC WIFI PLAN. The service starts disconnecting. I'm in ft Apache and blue Diamond, I have no reception at home with our wifi and I'm self employed so it really effects me when I Can't work from home!

This is for Cox Homelife: I ordered a new consul for my homelife once I learned I needed it to have my cox cameras record sound. Well...see the 2 photos and guess what the issue is!! NO DIMMER SWITCH to turn off the brightly lit consul at night.... Looks like that old Amazon box came in handy! Why do you suppose the techs at Cox forgot to include something so necessary for those of us who need darkness to sleep at night? COX.... Get with it!!! redesign this to add an off / on display switch

It's easy to understand why internet and cable providers like Cox normally don't get great reviews. It's not so much their in-person staff and more likely their actually products and over-the-phone technical support that people often are frustrated about. My router kicked the bucket, and after trying to hard boot it a few times, I called Cox for technical support. I went through the routine of giving them all the personal info they asked for and what the issue was, including my attempts of hard booting the router a few times, and the first thing that Tech Support asks me was "So have you tried unplugging and plugging in your router?" I can literally hear them flip the pages of their script over the phone as we went through the whole exercise of diagnosing the problem before she finally transfers me to another Tech Support person that tells me "it sounds like your router needs to be replaced. We can send over a tech to do it for you, but the next one won't be available until next week." And when I asked if I can simply just stop by the store and make the exchange myself, she replies with "Oh yeah, you can also do that too. That would be faster." Well no kidding... Luckily, my experience with Cox was a whole lot better in person. Dylan was amazing with his customer service, and helped me check a few things in my account as well too to maximize my savings. He also helped me with a promotion as well too that was activated by purchasing an accessory, and all their accessories had crazy discounts for this promotion! I picked a new headset for my little cousin at a great deal as a result. I highly recommend seeking out Dylan at this store for your service needs. One of the few good reasons to stick with Cox.

Avoid at all costs…read more I'm a full-time working professional and single mom with very little time. I've had ATT, T-Mobile, etc. and Verizon is by far the worst. I transferred my family over from AT&T including my parents. My mom's line was initially transferred THEN kicked back to AT&T so I've been charged a separate bill for her single line. Meanwhile lovely Verizon decided to charge me for an e-sim for her phone with a number we've never seen before (not hers). So I apparently paid a setup and activation fee for this ghost number. Also meanwhile, another number mysteriously appeared on my bill so I was paying an additional 2 lines, in addition to the ATT bill of my mom's I was paying separately. All the while, reception is supposedly 'best' but really sucks in the new summerlin areas (west of lake mead/ 215). I walked into the store seeking their help and the manager Taryn told me to call 611. I asked what's the difference calling in-store vs the 611 I call from home - same thing, "you might as well call from home." how's that for customer service? I've been on the line going on 3 hours for the 5th time trying to get this issue sorted out and resolved. Best of all, if I want to move back to ATT where my mom's line is, I'll have to pay $1900 to pay off devices. Oh- my trade in credits of $28 per month also mysteriously disappeared. So many stories of untold grief and inconvenience and fees caused by this place. Oh and my monthly cell phone bill went up from $145 to $400 now, and mind you, 2 lines I've never even seen or used before. But when you walk into the store they aggressively try to get you to upgrade your phone or sign up for home internet. The staff is very obviously incentivized to upsell and make a certain target of financial production each day. That's a no brainer. I really regret moving to Verizon from my previous carrier where I was having zero issues except reception (which is usually bad in new build areas).

Terrible customer service. My sister visited the store last weekend, and the associate who assisted…read moreher was unhelpful. Instead of helping her get a new phone, he told her to download the app and order online. She came in to trade her phone and leave with a new one. Today, I called the store to ask if we could trade in and get a new phone in person. The employee said yes, and I asked if he would be there. He gave me attitude when I mentioned the previous incident and he was defensive, turns out it was the same employee, Cody, who told my sister to download the app. He has a poor attitude and refuses to assist customers. This is how you lose customers, T-Mobile.

I work in customer service, when I have a guest come in that will take 3 minutes to process, I don't make them wait until I take care of 3 families ahead of them that takes over 40 min per family. These employees are all rude (ignoring guests, not signing guests in etc) and not getting the store cleared out efficiently. Efficiency is getting out the guest who is a 3 min transaction to clear out the store quicker. Complete & utter gross incompetence. at this store. It's not just once, it's EVERY EFFING TIME It's now 8:40 and this nasty rep is in the back laughing and joking now for 15 minutes while the store was closed 40 minutes ago and they have a room Full of people to help! Then I had so much time on my hands I read the reviews and see this IS the NORMAL For HOW THEY TREAT ALL GUESTS! A$$$$ Holes It's now 9pm, I unlocked the door myself and let myself out. Meanwhile the blonde in the photo laughed at me and had others laugh at me as I was quietly walking out. I drove by an hour later, on my way out of the parking lot (I went shopping at 3 others stores in that 1 hour) and the CSR's were still working with the same people from over an hour prior when I left.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Verizon store…read more I returned a WiFi box within the allowed return period. The store manager initially told me I could return it within a month and accepted $27 in cash. When I came back within two weeks to return the equipment, I was told to come back the next day because they were busy. When I returned, instead of refunding my $27, I was told I needed to pay an additional $50, which was never mentioned before. After I questioned this, they asked me to come back again when the manager was available. When I returned again, the manager said they couldn't refund me because they "didn't have cash" and told me to bring my card. Instead of issuing a refund, they charged my card another $22 without properly explaining why. I spent over an hour at the store across multiple visits, received inconsistent information, and was ignored while waiting. In the end, I left without a refund because it was not worth continuing to waste my time. This experience shows a serious lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service -- especially from management. Very disappointed.
