I lost my phone three days ago, accepting that it was gone and wanting to be done with it anyway because it was cracked and the battery was feeble and it was Time. I drove right to Verizon off Hover and, after a little wait, told the guy who helped me that "I'd like to solve this problem in the next 15 minutes." The man heard me, and the man kept it short. He was beautiful. In 15 minutes I had a new phone and was out the door. But! I went back the next day with a problem and they looked at it then and there, took it in the back and brought it back out working perfectly. Again, I was in and out of the store in less than probably 5 minutes. The employees here probably have to put up with a lot, but this kind of customer service should be emulated world wide. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! My daughter's new watch wasn't connecting to her number on our account with our current plan. The person who was picked to help me quickly determined he couldn't do anything in the store and said I had to call customer service. He asked if I wanted him to push me through or to be given a number that I could call at home. I said I would stay in case I needed more help in store. I continued to sit on the phone with customer service for over an hour in the store while the employee sat on his phone completely ignoring me and offering no further assistance. I've been a long time Verizon customer (decades) and I remember when representatives in the store would call customer service for us. I sat there until after closing on the phone while customer service was trying to figure out how to help me as the four employees that were there just sat around on their phones. No desire to help me, just waiting until they could go home. I finally left while still on the phone with customer service who ultimately told me they couldn't help me and then proceeded to hang up on me. I am so incredibly disappointed in this store and in Verizon. This is was the complete opposite of customer service. I wish I could share a picture. read more

I went into this location because my SIM card quit working. I can say they provided friendly service, seemed extremely organized but with a nice laid back environment. The music they played overhead was great 70's and 80's music. So I got to sing along to music I grew up loving while waiting for my turn. I will return for my Verizon/iPhone needs and I highly recommend this location for anyone new to the area. read more

I called twice to get info so I could switch to Verizon. First time I sat on hold for 11 minutes before hanging up and trying again. The second time I was on hold for almost 30 minutes for someone to answer just for the store to close. I had an appointment with a "representative". When I arrived no one knew who made the appointment. Gave me B/S "couldn't read the name". Arrogant "Manager". Useless "help". Left alone for hours while phone would not activate. They charged $29.99 for being ignored for 2+ hours. The next day I called Verizon (800-922-0204) they activated the phone and credited my account the $29.99 for so-called "service" at the Verizon Longmont store - NOT an authorized dealer, the Verizon store on Hover. They don't care about their computer issues that results in them not answer their phone. I did a phone upgrade with a VZ rep over the phone and had to pick it up at this location. Prior to leaving my home I had a question about the order and called the store. Dutifully pressing 0 to speak to a customer service representative, I was placed on hold. I was on hold the entire 26 minute drive to the store. Upon entering the store I held up my phone, still on hold, and asked why the obese bearded guy why weren't answering their phone. Not only did he not apologize or care in the least, he actually laughed about it. The second guy that came out to hand me my phone also laughed about it. Then he had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to by any accessories for my new phone. No, I'm not giving pit of poor customer service any of my money. I went in for a SIM card issue on the iPhone XS Max. Andrew quickly solved the issue with great customer service and a friendly attitude. While a few days before I had placed an order over the phone for a trade in and since I was there I asked about it, but it wasn't in the system. Andrew was determined to find the order and after a few minutes talking with Verizon support was able to discover the problem. Somehow the order was canceled, not from my end. Andrew worked through the issue and I was able to leave the store that day with my new phone! Great experience, definitely recommend working with Andrew! read more

Awesome!!! My 80 something Mom was sold all kinds of techy stuff and charged for 2 extra lines to use them from one of those "non Verizon" outlet stores! The techy stuff has been sitting in her drawer for months and she started get bills for hundreds of dollars. I didn't expect to get any help on this but I thought I'd try going in with her here in Longmont. Lorenzo, the manager or something took care of the whole thing for her! He went to bat for my mom with this other company and got them to waive those ridiculous charges and "early cancellation" fees on those 2 lines she never used! Who does that? We have been Verizon customers since they were Air Touch...We moved to CO 2 years ago and have been to this store several times... they screw up everything and dont give a rats ass what you need and dont want to take the time to help you if you are having problems. This store needs help. With rare exceptions, they are invariably rude to the customers. I waited there for an hour yesterday and overheard many conversations that made me cringe. It seems from management on down they feel that they are doing the customers a favor and should be treated as such. I went in today to have my new screen protector replaced (the rep yesterday told me to come back if the protector was still not adhering properly to the screen) and the manager was not having it. She told me the only thing she would do was give me a new one, sit me in the corner and let me try to put it on right. Wow. Crazy bad customer service. read more

This review is in regards to their customer service, not the products or services they offer for cell phones. I think they're the best carrier and will happily stay with them, I just feel of their customer service needs a reboot. I dislike their model of taking info down and queueing people up to ask a question. 20 minutes to ask a question in another store would be unreasonable, not expected. When it's my turn to ask my question I'm utterly let down. This month I came close to running out of my data which is unusual based on my typical use. I wasn't sure why so I went in to ask. Instead of offering me suggestions on how to lower my data use, looking into specifics on why my data was unusually high, or investigating my curiosity about a recent update being the source, he simply suggested a larger data plan. It was a complete waste of time. One suggestion, or one explanation would have made all the difference. read more

When repeated calls to customer service were unproductive, we visited the store in person for various charges on our bill, the largest which ended up being Verizon's mistake. We were met with defensiveness and a complete lack of empathy for the 3+ hours we had to spend with initial phone calls, and then going to their store on a Saturday. Justin Ginsberg, the general manager of the store, displayed some of the worst customer service skills we have ever encountered, with dismissive verbals and non-verbals, and even a threat, for essentially being unhappy customers. We left feeling absolutely dissatisfied and treated very poorly. In addition, he would not provide us with his supervisor's name. The general manager of this store needs to be educated about the basics of conflict resolution, customer service, and how to solve issues while treating people with dignity and respect. We give Verizon a lot of money and have been 20 year customers. We expect more in the "we value you back" department. Ultimately, we were provided with what we were owed, but it took time, pain and additional phone calls to arrive there. read more

This concerns the Verizon store customer service on S. Hover in Longmont. I purchased an iPhone 8 Plus from Verizon online. I asked the sales person if I could get help at a local store to set up. I was assured that I would get help. The phone arrived by FedEx in 2 days. The next day I took the phone in. The young man assigned to help me said that I would have to set it up myself and would only help me if I had trouble. I was able to set it up mostly myself at the store while he helped the next customers. However, I did have questions and needed help with the email setup but could not get answers or a word in edgewise because he was talking with the other customers about their mutual hobbies for over 30 minutes. I waited wanting to purchase a phone case as well as a new keyboard for my iPad. He was still intently talking to the hobby couple about his vacation. I left the store without email setup help. I then went to Target bought a new keyboard and phone case and was out of the store in 15 minutes - likely spending a third of what I would have spent at Verizon. If I need help or to purchase another phone or supply, I will use another Verizon store. read more

I had the worst customer service ever today at this Verizon store. On May 23, 2019 I went in to switch from AT&T cell service to Verizon service and also bought a new $800 iPhone. I was told my old iPhone had a trade-in value of $185 and was told to bring the old phone back in to their store on June 5, 2019 to receive my "credit." I brought the old phone to them today (June 5) and was told my credit was only $125. I SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR THEIR PROMISE OF $185 IN WRITING! My mistake. The problem is that the clerk and the store manager vehemently denied that the clerk could have ever told me the trade-in value was $185 and they basically accused me of lying to them. It was not even deemed a possibility that the clerk could have made a mistake. It seems the Verizon corporate policy is that if there is ever a disagreement between Verizon and their customer, Verizon is absolutely correct without question. To hell with the customer!!! BE CAREFUL WITH VERIZON - GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING FIRST!! read more

I would not recommend this Verizon location to anyone. The sales people are not fully trained on their offers, have no respect for the customers' time and will clearly be dishonest to try and make a sale. I spoke with Jim Pavlick yesterday (6/4) about upgrading my phone and he gave me all the wonderful information for one of their current specials, but gee, he didn't bother to make sure I knew that my current phone would need to be PAID FOR IN FULL before it could be traded in. Never ONCE did he explain this to me. I even repeated everything he told me back to him to be sure I had the information correct and he said I did...he lied. So, I spent about 45 minutes waiting for him today, even with an appointment, only to find out that in addition to him not fully explaining a sales offer to me, he helped other customers before me because he didn't see me waiting(?), even though I was signed in and was supposed to be his "next" customer. The manager basically reiterated what this shady salesman said and was pretty much useless, not offering to help in any way. Employees at this location lack honesty and integrity and I will not use this store again. This location SUCKS. read more

Worst Verizon, or just plain worst store ever! Every employee today was crabby, rude, and unhelpful. Snarky comments, yelling, and every possible unprofessional mannerism in between. First, they don't even know or understand their own products. They don't know what a SIM card is, they don't know how to take phone cases off, they break things and make you pay for new ones when they break it in front of you (broke the screen protector in front of me and made me buy a new one!), they said I needed to do my own research on my product rather than simply looking up the account to see which one I bought. How about sloppily tossing a phone back and saying "see how long that one lasts"...honestly, who conducts business acting like such children? If you hate your job, find a new one! Worst customer service!! We walked in, had to find someone to let them know we were there! The guy that left his customer, to put our name on their list was the only helpful one, we were told there was 2 guests before us! 2 woman came in while we waited and immediately a girl came and asked what they needed and then preceded to help them for 15 mins or more with phone cases! Did I say, they walked in AFTER us! There was a couple and a lady before us, the couple were being helped, and then after the gal was done helping the ladies, that had just walked in, she went over to the 2nd one that was in front of us, and helped her get her phone working again, about 5 min. Then immediately walked in the back and hung out there for a bit!! SERIOUSLY??? She then came out and greeted someone that had just walked in; and preceded to also talk with them, while we continued to wait!! That's when we decided to leave!! I don't usually spend time reviewing chain mega-stores but I feel I need to give props to the guys at this store only. I have been a customer of Verizon for over a decade. I've always felt like they were horrible company but I tolerated them because their service area met my needs. I have had a lot of dealings with purchasing items online and in the Boulder store, which has always been frustrating and annoying. Enter the Longmont store. I work in Boulder, so they are not always my first choice but now they will be. I have entered this store three times now in emergency phone situations, and all three times (with three different people) they have been great. Seriously. Very helpful and when I told them I didn't have much time, very respectful. I was able to get in and out very quickly with all my questions answered. Their management is either got lucky and or is fostering a good environment for naturally helpful, honest people. I wish other stores had the same luck/management. Please continue, life is too short to deal with a**holes and, in a sense, you guys give back my faith in humanity. Sounds dramatic, but it really is the little ways we are kind to each other that make the world a better place....now get rid of the bogus $20 upgrade fee ;) read more
