I went in to this particular Verizon store today with a broken phone after a long day and could not be happier with my experience! Richard was very welcoming as soon as I walked through the door and continued the professionalism and kindness all the way through the transaction. I ended up replacing my broken phone and upgrading into a new one and it couldn't have been easier. I received absolutely top notch customer service and enjoyed the experience all the way through. I didn't realize upgrading my phone would cause such a huge problem for me but it did because of this store. I ordered an iPhone for in-store pickup and they completed the pickup process but also cancelled the order in their system because of a glitch. According to Verizon, my order is picked up even though this store refused to give me the device that is now currently tied to my account and I can no longer upgrade my current phone. I wish I knew this wasn't a real Verizon store before choosing it as my pickup location. Verizon and Victra are not connected and Verizon cannot cancel the order after trying everything they could so now my bill will be messed up for 30 months. read more

Staff will verbally provide incomplete and inaccurate or misleading information about the purchase that show up differently on the receipt that you only see after you have signed up. On top of that, they are unable to even properly set up an new account. And enter inaccurate information that took hours on customers services calls to correct. Worst Verizon I've ever been to. When I bought my phone the sales rep gave me a case, charger and other junk I didn't want. After asking MULTIPLE times if I was being charged for this I was told no. After talking to customer service I was told the amount I was charged is higher than normal taxes for a phone. I called this store for a MONTH trying to get the receipt from my in store purchase. After they finally sent it to me I saw they did in fact charge me for all the accessories I'm never going to use. Sales rep was extremely unhelpful and said there was nothing she could do with all the junk accessories I'm never going to use. read more

I cannot speak for the reviews below, but will say that under the management of Arturo Lopez, this store delivered a great experience to me. I lost my phone yesterday. Arturo and his associate, Demi, were completely understanding and patient with me as they provided me with options for getting "reconnected to the world." Long story short, after two hours of a ton of legwork on their part - they had to call VZW customer care to get clearance on an array of issues on my account - I got a great deal on what I hope to be a great phone (Samsung Galaxy SIII). These guys are incredibly shady. Hidden charges and subpar service. I was setting up a new account and afterward, they tried to stick me with a $50 mystery charge that had never been mentioned. Only because they screwed up the setup did I call Verizon directly. Not only did I NOT have to pay the $50 charge, they gave me $150 credit. So, if you want to pay more for bad service, this is the store for you. Side note, the women who work there (though one was pushy and up-salesy because it's her job I guess) seem genuinely nice. I came in with a problem that Richard had fixed multiple times in the previous 24 hours. He was very patient with me even though his shift had just ended, he waited with me to help me figure out my problem rather than handing me off to one of his coworkers. We figured out the problem with my phone and Richard gave me very honest, blunt advice on what to do next which I greatly appreciated. This store is horrible! They don't want to help you unless you coming to Buy, because they work on Commission money that is the only time they will be nice to you. While I was asking the lady about my bill, she was texting and even paying attention to what I was saying. Even before trying to help me she was feasted and done with me, mind you this lady help me when I both my phone and she was up and down for me to make the sale. Very disappointing! In general Verizon they have really bad costumer service period. Costumers have to wait up to 40 -50 minutes sometimes more just to speak to costumer service on the phone, and you don't even get a decent Service after that, and also sometimes they will put you on hold and an other agent Will pick up the phone and you have to explain yourself again, again and again! Don't go to this store! The manager Chloe (who was wearing a name tag that said Tariq, which shows the level of professionalism here), talks in an overly sweet voice and acts like she is trying to help you but really she is trying to squeeze every penny out of you she can! She also charged me for services that were not rendered by her, then told me to my face she wouldn't give me a refund. Basically I wasn't paying attention and got swindled - need to be more cautious in the future before I swipe my card. It was only $20 as well. It amazes me that ripping someone off for that little amount of money was so important to her. read more

I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THE NEED TO AVOID THIS STORE. They are very shady in their sales tactics and Verizon should remove them from their authorized retailer list. I went in on Black Friday and the sales man very clearly said they were running a promotion of buy a new iPhone and get an iPad for free. Countless hours on customer support lines and $200 later I'm still paying a monthly fee for my "free" iPad. I've been charged termination fees on lines I've never had, monthly service charges where I was told I would receive credits, and credits that were smaller than the full payment. I Purchased a phone on Black Friday taking advantage of a promo. There was a lot of pressure for insurance, cell case, "free" iPad that locks you into monthly internet bill, etc. After spending waaaay too much time rejecting it all & explaining how I JUST wanted the phone, I FINALLY got through to the sales rep, Nelson. Now 2 months later I get a welcome letter from the insurance Nelson signed despite how clear I was that I did not want insurance! BAD BAD BAD HORRIBLE TERRIBLE AWFUL RUDE and THE WORST!!! Here's the deal. I went to yelp and saw that this Victra had a terrible rating and many complaints. But... it was really close to my home, so I took a chance. I went to get a SIM card for two friends who are visiting me from Ukraine. I called before going there and was told by the person who answered, Juann, that a card would cost $20 dollars. I asked if there was any other info we needed to know. She said NO, it would be very straightforward and easy. Then, when we got there she went into a speech about the extra charges for a plan and blah, blah, blah. (I'll admit that I know about plans, but it's been ages since I got my phone and which automatically came from the Verizon plan). So, my friends were confused by the extra charges and I said to Juann that I called for FULL info and she hadn't provided it. At that point, she said that that was MY PROBLEM and that it isn't her job to explain every little detail to customers when she is busy and invited me to take my business elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and look at ALL THE OTHER TERRIBLE REVIEWS THIS STORE GETS AND STAY AWAY!!! IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS. Alls it took was 20 minutes for me to realize what an amazing team this place is. I went in after leaving another Verizon store at the Beverly connection with an unactivated phone after a horrific night of a stolen phone at the bar. Kimari deserves all of the recognition and she is sincerely dedicated to her job. My mind is blown today as I am on my new iPhone X after showing up at the grove at 8:45 pm (fifteen mins before closing) almost in tears over my phone not being activated or able to send a text to make sure my family new I was okay. She was shocked to discover the associate at the other location sent me home without helping set up my new $1400 iPhone or even activating it. Kimari didn't hesitate to collect the information she needed to help me activate my new phone and then proceeded to LET ME WAIT until my phone was ready to be used. Helping angry customers in this field takes a lot of hard work and dedication and Kimari has set the bar high. I don't care how far away I live from this location this will be my GO TO spot thanks to Kimari and I will continue to let everyone know how wonderful they are being that they sincerely care about making people happy. First of all I want to start off by stating that I am NOT a confrontational person so this experience was completely unnecessary and beyond irritating. All I wanted to do is upgrade my phone and the Verizon costumer service rep I spoke with informed my mother and I that it would be shipped to this location same day (December 31st) and that the store would call to let us know when it is ready. We never received a call so my mother reached out to the store to confirm that we could come get it. A guy named Kyle answered and told us they were closing in 30 minutes so he could not help us...we then told him that we live very close so we can just pop in the store to pick up the phone so if he would check to see if it was there that would be great. He proceeded to put us on hold to go check but after 10 minutes of "checking" and never returning to the call, it was clear that he was just trying to kill time so we could not come in. My mother then hung up and called back because at this point we know we can not pick up the phone, we just want to know that it was shipped and AT THE STORE. The rude and nasty assistant manager named Janaiya (might be incorrectly spelled but she knows who she is) answered the phone and we explained that we were placed on hold way too long and that it was rude that the employee never returned to the call. She starts going on about how we need to understand that they are busy, about to close and have been getting yelled at all day and that's why we were still on hold. We understand that but all we wanted to know from her was if the phone was there but her tone was snappy and uninterested in helping us. She said the phone wasn't there so we called Verizon customer service to have the order cancelled and have it shipped to our house. The next day (today January 1st) we called Verizon customer service back to get the status of the phone being shipped out to the house, it turns out the order was NEVER cancelled so the Verizon rep called this store location to not only confirm that we were doing an in store pickup but also that the phone is already there to pick up. She said she confirmed with the in store guy named Kyle. We left the comfort of our home to find out that Kyle lied because the phone was NOT there. At this point we are beyond fed up and he continues to lie and say that he never told the rep the phone was here. The assistant manager Janaiya jumps in and says that she spoke with us last night and cancelled the order and-with a MAJOR nasty attitude-was trying to explain to us how in store pick up and Verizon work. Well my mother has worked for Verizon for YEARS so she knows how this all works. I took matters into my own hands to call Verizon customer service back since we know the rep we spoke with (Tia) would notate everything if we had any issues. I was connected with Taniqua (sorry for the spelling) and read off Tia's notes that Kyle DID CONFIRM THE PHONE BEING IN STORE. Janaiya kept saying it was a miscommunication but how would she know when Kyle told us he was the only one in store when he spoke with Tia? He told us he wouldn't have wanted us to come anyway and at this point I turned to Janaiya to finally speak up and let her know that I am a manager of a studio myself and instead of having an attitude with us and over talking my mother and stepping over her boundaries, she needs to take responsibility for her employee and deal with him later. She also should have never allowed him to talk to us the way he did. All she did was roll her eyes and start yelling again. Little did they know that I still had the rep on the phone (a recorded line) and she was EXTREMELY disappointed in the way we were treated and spoke to. The rep (who is a supervisor) is going above and beyond by reporting this whole incident to her supervisor and cancelled our order to this store. I have NEVER dealt with anything like this and these two employees definitely need to be removed from this job since they're apparently always getting yelled at and making their customers upset and ruining their day. We will be contacting the manager as well as corporate. Great way to start 2020 huh? read more

THIS IS NOT A VERIZON STORE!!! It is an authorized dealer. Save yourself some time and lots of waiting around and find a REAL store with people who know what the hell they're doing and talking about. Not sure how the acting manager there actually became the manager, perhaps a few favors after hours but she is by far one of the worst customer service ppl I have ever dealt with. Not only does she not have a clue about Verizon services but she will look you straight in the eye and say she does, then when you show her proof that she isnt right she says whatever I'll get someone else to help you. This place is a complete and absolute joke. To get into all the trouble caused by some of the staff here would take too long. The only way I will ever come back to this location is to either watch it burn to the ground due to an irate customer finally being fed up with their incompetence or to pop some champagne when it closes its' doors because ppl wake up and avoid it. I went to Victra Verizon because I got my phone stolen and had to buy a new one at the apple store. Richard greeted me and was extremely helpful. He got me a new SIM card and activated my phone and made sure everything was working properly before I left. This all happened within about 30 minutes. I was really impressed by Richards assistance and quick but thorough service. Thanks for making my new phone activation process pleasant and easy! Will def be back and highly recommend. read more

On my 4th visit first woman was very unprofessional and couldn't figure out how to perform the simple task. 50 minutes later we finally finished (of note it took 50 minutes for two people without any other customers in the store to finish the simple task). Worst store I've been to. I was on a business trip to this area and had some extra time on my hand so I decided to upgrade my phone. I was told that if I upgraded to and iPhone11pro I would get a free ipad. I already have an ipad and had no need for another but since it was free I agreed to take it and maybe use it as a gift for someone. After I returned home I went to a Verizon store to get a case for my new phone and to my shock was told that I was being billed for the ipad. I tried to return it but was told that the place I got it from was a Victra store not a direct Verizon store so I had to return it to Victra. I wen't to a local Victra store and was told I could not return it there because the Victra store on S. Fairfax Ave in LA has a different inventory system. Not only was I not able to return it they said Victra has no such thing as a free ipad. I called Victra corporate and they told me the same thing. For over a month I've been trying to get a hold of a manager at this store and have not been able to speak to anyone, no one will return my calls and the store employees that answer the phone are clueless on what to do. Fortunately the ipad is still in its wrapper, and I had Verizon put notes in my account saying that I've been trying to contact Victra and return the ipad well before the 14 return policy expired. After reading reviews here I notice that they do this "free ipad" thing to a lot of people. This is complete bait and switch and if they don't fix my issue I will file legal action against this store. I'll update my review once they fix the issue. read more

I went on a mission to switch from my Blackberry to an IPhone this weekend. The upgrade was necessary for a new job. After 30 minutes of working with an amazing Apple rep at the Apple store in the Grove, we realized I would HAVE to go to a Verizon location to receive my upgrade. They recommended I walk over to the "Verizon store" also in The Grove/Farmer's Market. I understand it was my fault that I didn't realized this was a "Verizon Premium Retailer" immediately and not an actual Verizon store. Actually purchasing the phone was quite easy (same price as advertised on Verizon and Apple - no cheaper/better offer/etc), but actually leaving and getting a working phone was the problem. As we're wrapping up the purchase, the associate starts to ask me for a bunch of personal info - all of which Verizon should already have on file. Questions like, "Can I have 3 other numbers to list on this account so we can have them all on file." Um, no. She continues to pester for numbers until she final says, "I can see other numbers listed on this account I'm just going to put them in if you don't tell me." Well, do what you got to do lady, but I'm not handing over more info than need be to what I now realize is a 3rd party and NOT Verizon. We're wrapping up the sale, when I realize my current phone has already been disconnected. The associate stacks the phone and my new case and goes to put them in a bag. I stop her and ask if she is going to activate the phone I just purchased. Her reply, "Yeah I was just going to do that." Were you just going to do that? With the phone in the bag?? I think not. So she removes the box, takes out the phone and plugs it into her computer. Immediately she states, "Oh yeah our ITunes isn't updated so we can't activate this phone, it's not my fault, I'm not an admin so we can't do anything about, you'll have to activate this when you get home." WHAT?!? So I calmly and slightly incredulously, respond, "But you've already deactivated my phone?" Her reply, "Yeah, but we can't do anything else, we aren't even supposed to have ITunes on our computers." So I'm supposed to walk out of the "Premium Verizon Dealer" with my current phone deactivated and my new phone inactivated in the middle of the day with no notice, no heads up or inquiry, such as, "Hey we actually can't activate this phone right now, here's how you can do it at home, can we go ahead and deactivate your old phone." I am leaving the PHONE STORE WITH NO WORKING PHONE. Unacceptable. How can a dealer not have appropriate programs/upgrades to actually activate the products they are selling? Needless to say, I walked out of there, cut the rest of my day short, because, oh, I no longer have a phone. I really didn't feel like having the associate reactivate my old phone, headed home and activated my own phone. Not hard, but not the lengths you should have to go to to get a working phone when you went to the trouble of actually walking into a store instead of buying online. Lesson learned, I will never purchase another product at an dealer rather than an actual owned-and-operated location. Shame on Verizon for letting this retailer even put their name above their door. read more

Worst costumer service ever!!! I went in looking for a new phone to replace my iPhone. I happily told them what I wanted and greeted them. Then they ignored me. Two people were helping 1 girl who was buying accessories. I waited for 2 hours! And no one would come to my service. Finally I gave up waiting and left. They didn't even apologize! They just said bye. They lost a good customer, and I am switching service because Verizon has just not been good to me. Their customer service was the last straw! read more

This was the worst experience ever. Noe insisted on "giving" me "free" stuff. FREE is not supposed to cost you over $100 and the other free hotspot he gave me was used so it didn't qualify for a rebate. I tried to return several times. I called verizon corporate 6 times and was able to get all of the free stuff off of my account. When I called the store to discuss Dave Box the owner would not speak with me. I called him 7 times in one day and sent 2 emails. Verizon Corporate sided with me, and now there is a complaint/infraction registered with them on this franchise. RUN FOREST RUN from this store. Had some bad experience with Verizon stores in Denver area. New phone just wasn't working as I had expected. On vacation here in LA stopped in to this store. Only one employee at first arrival with two other customers waiting. Then in comes Kamari. She took my case, and, okay maybe sent me off with a bit more phone than I thought I needed, but in retrospect, I am totally pleased with the phone, and Kamari restored my faith in Verizon. read more
