I WISH I'd believed the reviews. I WISH I'd believed the woman and her husband who came in screaming about the horrible service. I WISH. The man who "helped" me upgrade my phone is an absolute SNAKE. Here's what happened: I see on AT&T that I'm eligible for a free upgrade. I go into the store to make sure getting a new iPhone won't mess up my bill or my plan, and if the phone is truly free. He says it wont, and I say great I'm going to the Apple store. He says, please I get commission if you go through me. I decide to throw him a bone. Biggest mistake ever. This SNAKE then proceeds to tell me that he can actually save me money with a new plan. I was paying $160, he says he can get me down to $120. Then he says I'm in luck because its Black Friday and I can get a free line and a free phone, and that actually makes my bill less. I told him I don't really need another phone or line but he convinces me this is the best deal. He instructs me to go home to transfer my phone and then to come back so they can mail my old phone back to make the new phone free. I go back. The printer is broken, they can't mail it themselves. Fine, I'll do it myself. Cut to AT&T gets my old phone. They don't give me a credit because the new plan he forced me into doesn't accept trade ins. Now my bill is $178! I go back in. They claim to do a manager override. That does nothing. Then I go back in, and an assistant manager (he was actually nice) gets on the phone with corporate to get me my credit and to place me on an eligible plan. The new bill will be $155. Why is my next bill $214. I call corporate AT&T. The lady on the phone was like the original person you talked to straight up lied to you. Your original plan was the better deal. That second free phone isn't free at all, its $600. They still didn't credit the phone I mailed back so thats another $1000. They escalate me to fix it. The clown on the phone says "there is nothing we can do." I tried to cancel AT&T but then I owe for the devices. I am going back tomorrow. It is now my main mission in life to get this SNAKE fired. I tried to warn the other unsuspecting customers that they were about to get screwed over, but they won't believe me until it happens to them. NEVER EVER AGAIN. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Karma will get this snake. Hope his commission keeps his sad punk a$$ warm at night. read more

I stopped in after noticing the $99 deal for two Wireless+ Air devices advertised outside. Hamilton assisted me and assured me it was a great deal -- I just needed to call AT&T afterward to activate it. I agreed and completed the setup. When I called AT&T, I was informed the deal is only available to customers 55 and older, which no one disclosed to me at the time of purchase. I returned to the store to request a return, but Hamilton refused. He also declined to provide his last name, would not connect me with a manager, and denied me access to the store restroom. I now have to spend additional time contacting AT&T to cancel a service I was misled into purchasing and arrange to ship the device back -- all on my day off. This is a serious customer service and ethics issue. Management needs to review this interaction and take appropriate action. read more

They staff purposely kill time talking to one another to piss customers off instead of helping them. Whoever is in charge of that store either must get fired or retrained. Horrible horrible horrible. Lied about the amount of money I would get for my trade in and had to pay over 700 dollars what they told me. I have been back, tried to talk to a manager who is literally never there, and spent countless hours trying to resolve with customer service who does not care that the sales rep lied. Will be switching to Verizon and filing a complaint with the BBB and these people should be ashamed of themselves. read more

AT&T is a complete ripoff. I've had a landline for over two years that did not work consistently. They suggested that I transfer over to a mobile cell cellular system. They've been charging me for two lines 2 phones and two watches for over six months, which is an era they stated that they would correct it since then I have not had any phone service. They disconnected my phone. I've lost monies due to the fact that my phone has been disconnected. I have not been able to speak with anyone consistently on a recorded line they state that they will correct it. Finally they stated they would help me and after I paid my bill within five days, they disconnected my number and started all over again with the process of process of stating that I owe $800. I've been on the phone for hours with no help a scam service AT&T has turned into. read more

Terrible shady service. Called to check if they had the new iphone 17 in stock and the female manager said they are unable to check inventory. I would have to go in for them to pull up my account to access the store inventory. It didn't make any sense to me but I drove in anyways. When I arrived she did not even ask for my account, she just said they've been out of stock since the morning but they could order one for me to be delivered to the store. So she basically lied on the phone to get me to come in and hopefully order through them due to the inconvenience. I left and called two other stores in weho and westlake and they both checked their inventories over the phone for me. Do not give your business to these location. Go elsewhere. read more

This is the BEST AT & T store! Their staff are knowledgeable and cordial - you always get greeted upon arrival. The store is clean and smells nice! They don't have many phones on site but they ship the phones already connected and charged to your home. My retail sales associate Charles and the asssitant Manager Brianna helped me connect a new phone line quickly and efficiently. They checked my bill to make sure I was on autopay getting the best discounts and explained all of the features to me. The store has parking underneath too that's validated. Reallly do not recommend this AT&T store. Went in to get a new iPhone. Asked for purple iPhone and without checking the worker immediately was telling me to come back another day because it *probably* isn't in stock. After insisting to get a new phone that day she finally checked and there were many in stock!! So lazy. Then she proceeded to tell me that she found a way for me to save money by changing the plan and I agreed to it and then I looked at the bill the next month and the plan cost over $100 more and I had to get someone on AT&T's customer service to help fix it back to the intended cost. Also, I got an older iPhone that was half off and on my bill I got charged for the full price. The customer service on phone helped me luckily to fix the monthly price. She then proceeded to grab all these accessories and put them in my cart without telling or asking me!! She then asked me to pay and I saw that the price was way more than the cost for just the phone and realized she put things in and I did not ask for that one bit ... I asked her to remove the items and I did not need them because I already have them but she still tried to persuade me and looked so stubborn and annoyed! I did end up buying a case for my phone and I asked her at least three times if this phone case would fit and she said yes and she put it on my phone after she threw out the box it came in.... And I realized walking out of the store that it was not compatible and the volume buttons didn't work!!!! I came back in immediately and she was SO annoyed that I wanted a phone case that fit my phone... Do not trust this store... they are just trying to make a sale and not help you!! read more

I had the worst experience at this "flagship store". I was helped by a manager who was more worried about her predatory sales practices while upgrading my phone. Just to get a sale through the door, she told me that I qualified for a $1000 rebate by trading in iPhone 12pro. However she was more worried about crosselling accessories than answering my questions. After all was said and done, when I finally got my new iPhone and returned back to the store to turn in my old phone the same manager refused to take in my phone, claiming that is damaged. Which is untrue, she claimed that she never helped me or would've asserted me that i qualify for the credit. When I tried to escalate the issue to a different manager they were not helpful at all. Someone stole my phone at the target next door. I immediately walked over to the AT&T store so they could help me shut off my stolen phone so nobody could access my info. The employee in the store had the doors locked, he looked up at me and i mouthed to him that I needed help. He then shook his head and continued to type on his computer. I stood at the door for 5 more minutes trying to get help, because I also needed to file a police report, but didn't have a phone to do that on. The employee never proceeded to help me. I am still in shock that that is how I was treated. This interaction makes me want to switch to verizon just based on how I was treated in this situation. read more

I bought a new iphone at this AT&T store When we tried to set it up at home it was a mess. I called the store for some help and the person was not at all helpful. He said it was too hard to explain what we needed to do to get the phone fixed. I asked if there was anyone else we could speak to and he hung up on me. I called back and he must have recognized my voice and would not answer. I kept saying hello, and I could hear people speaking in the background, but he refused to say anything. I went back to the store and Shawn was very helpful. He showed us how to get the phone to work and spent a good amount of time with me fixing what I think was an error when they gave me the phone the day before. The only other person working in the store was Julio. I asked him if he was the one who hung up on me. He pretended not to know what I was talking about and denied even answering the phone. This is very bad customer service Then today when I looked at the Customer Service Summary, I see that I was signed up for Protect Advantage, Tier 1 for $17.00/month and AT&T Next Up for $6.00/month, as well as there was a $35.00 activation fee. I did not ask for insurance or the Next Up Plan. I was not told about the $35.00 activation fee or that I was going to be signed up for insurance or the Next Up plan. This is quite a sneaky business practice. I had to call AT&T again to have them remove the insurance plan and I have to wait 2 weeks to remove the Next Up plan, so I'm going to have to call AT&T AGAIN to get rid of that. I am pretty unhappy with the service I have received. read more

I went in to give back my phone via AT&T's next plan. I'm not sure if it was incompetence or just terrible customer service, but despite being told it wouldn't be an issue through customer service on their website, I was told they couldn't take my phone due to "inventory." When I asked for an explanation since I was told it wouldn't be an issue, the woman explained it in the great detail of "yeah, inventory." She then said "ok" and walked to the door as I was asking a question about it referencing the conversation I had online implying we were done and then as I was still talking she just started talking to the next customer. Considering she did the same thing to the customer before me when we started talking, it was on me that I was surprised. The customer before me seemed like he was being pleasant enough and I made the mistake of giving her (the AT&T employee) the benefit of the doubt. I had an exceptionally wonderful customer service experience with Paula at this location on 8/27. She went above and beyond with patience, care, and effort. Based on her help, I decided to switch to AT&T for mobile after 20 years with Verizon. I was so relieved to have *finally* identified a place for great mobile service--after years of frustration. Normally I dread the time sinkhole and lack of responsiveness that has come to define mobile phone and Wifi service. Sigh....! Returning to the same store today only a few weeks later, I was told that NO ONE from that excellent first visit remains employed there. Paula and her team have disappeared. I am devastated to have briefly tasted this quality experience and discover it has already been dismantled. Corporate management in its infinite wisdom. The guy who came outside asked how he could help me and I told him I wanted to upgrade. He started asking me questions and if I couldn't answer right away he was impatient and unfriendly if he had to explain something. I asked him if all AT&T employs were abrupt and impatient. Extremely unprofessional. Do not go to this store. If you do, avoid the store manager Chris. I went to this store to upgrade my iPhone and asked that AppleCare be added to my upgrade. Month's later my phone did not start and I took it into the Genius Bar. There I learned that my phone did not have AppleCare as I requested when I set up the phone. I called the store and was told that they would only look at my account in person. After showing up in person store manager Chris discovered that AT&T failed to enroll me in Apple Care as I requested. Extremely frustrated I asked for a credit to be applied to my account. Store Manager Chris directed me to the AT&T 611 number because he was "out of credits" for the day. After calling the AT&T 611 service number, they said that they had no record of me coming in store. Even more frustrated I called back the store to Store Manager Chris. Store Manager Chris said that he couldn't do anything and hung up on me. read more

Possibly the WORST customer service. BEWARE!!! They will try and sell you something to resolve an internal error on the ATT side. I came into this location after ATT charged a fee after having a saved conversation transcript of a customer service informing me that this should not have happened. I was told to come into a store to show proof of the conversation during a pandemic, how amazing of ATT to expose customers. Once I got to the store, I was met by Ceaser who is clearly not fit to work with customers and makes you wonder what sort of training goes on at ATT. No greeting to me or any of the other customers, that clearly pay for your salary. Moving on, shared with him my situation and was told that if I wanted my incorrect fee to be removed/ waived then I would have to add cable service to my plan. Explain to me how this is a selling point? This was also backed by his manager, Robert Lara. Overall, complete incompetence. I immediately got customer service on the phone and it was then who were able to resolve the matter. Being a customer of 10 years plus, it has made me explore other carriers who actually value they customer and don't try to pull a fast one and take advantage of a situation.
