I would give this store zero stars if possible. My old Galaxy S7 died on Wednesday night, so we spent several hours on the phone with Verizon on Thursday, trying to find the Galaxy S21 in stock. Online it said the Victra store had them, so the Verizon rep told us to purchase online and pick up in store, which we did. We drive over to pick it up, only to find that the manager, Jodi Diaz, had cancelled the order because the "box had been opened" on the one phone he had in stock. The poor lone employee in the store, Eileen, who had been left alone in the store all afternoon with no support, did her best to help us but had to keep calling Jodi (have no idea why he wasn't in the store himself) to find out what happened. She eventually puts him on speaker, where he essentially tells us there's nothing he can do for us, we're out of luck. He also told us that we shouldn't have done anything online, that we should have just shown up to the store. Having already been to the Burbank store and told there were none in stock in any of the LA stores, we had not wanted to do that. Even worse, since this horrible manager cancelled our order without notifying us, it was now a pending order that might take two days to clear out of their system, which meant that we would not be able to make any other phone purchase, online or through Costco etc until this ghost order was cleared. I have now spent two+ days not being able to work because of this manager's extreme incompetence and Verizon's lack of inventory (another story in itself). I would recommend never going to this store as long as Jodi Diaz remains the manager there. read more

We just moved to Los Angeles today, and sadly found out that we have ZERO CELL PHONE reception in our new apartment with Verizon service. Despite being exhausted after moving, we drove to this Verizon store to see about purchasing a signal booster. The store didn't have one, but suggested that we drive to the Corporate Store to see if they have one. I asked the clerk if he would mind calling for us and asking and he told us 'you can Google the number just as easily as I can and call yourself'. Gee THANKS..... read more

STAY AWAY!!!! The fact that Verizon allows this fraudulent business to operate under its branding and to falsely represent itself as a Verizon store is completely ridiculous and makes the company look so incredibly bad. I went in yesterday with a broken phone hoping to fix it because I have insurance. The store looks exactly like the real Verizon store, there is NO VISIBLE BRANDING or other indication that this is an authorized retailer. Everything in the store looks exactly like the Verizon store and there is no Victra branding visible anywhere in the store. I wanted to have my phone fixed so I could wait to get the Iphone 14 in two weeks. The sales person talked me out of filing an insurance claim, telling me I would have to wait up to 5 days for a new phone- a completely false claim. I had no choice but to buy an iphone 13, because I could not be without a phone for 5 days. Then, the sales person attempted to sell me a bunch of crap that he stated was "FREE"- false claim number two. Not only did they have the audacity to charge me $65 dollars for a screen protector that I didn't want, the rest of the "Free" accessories they wanted to shill would have cost in excess of $200. Finally and most egregiously, they did not allow me to backup my iphone to the cloud and did not do the transfer properly - I lost over 2 months worth of photos and messages, even though I was assured those would show up later. Only when I got the receipt with trumped up charges did I see a Victra logo. I am absolutely livid and cannot believe Verizon would allow a company to act so fraudulently while using its name, branding, and trade dress. I got screwed out of the phone I wanted, my data, including pics of my vacation and my niece and nephew, and got charged phony "service fees" to boot. This is not the way to operate a business. I was promised only a $11.00 increase in my bill for my new iphone - then read the user agreement once I got home - that included another $20.00 in stupid charges (verizon cloud $3.00 and protection for $17.00) - spent one hour on phone with Verizon having those charges TAKEN OFF - do not want need the extra stuff. The first person I dealt with who I placed the order with said she would THROW IN A CASE and screen protector for FREE - but when I went to collect the phone - the next person wanted to charge me for those. Had to call sales associate one AT HOME to confirm what she had promised. I thought they were great at the time BUT .... the phone is great... I am so careful about READING THINGS but review your bill AFTER you leave the store as they speak quickly - as sales people do. read more

DO NOT ever do business here. I walked into this store with an iPhone X I've had for less than a year and the screen was not working. I mentioned I wasn't sure it if it was water damage or not. I had used it in a light rain, but it didn't fall in water. So I couldn't be sure. Instead of the salesperson thoroughly checking the phone, they said my phone would not be under warranty because of water damage and I could either upgrade my phone or use my insurance (which has about a $150 deductible) but it could take a few days till I would receive my replacement in the mail. I had been out of pocket with a phone for over 5 days while traveling abroad so I was adamant about getting a working phone that day which they charge me $191.60 for.. However, before deciding to upgrade I specifically asked if I could transfer my data from my current phone to the new phone. The seller said she could try. This will be relevant later on. I go through the whole 2 hour process of upgrading my phone. Meanwhile, they also try to sell me on upgrades to my plan for a new iPad and an unnecessary hum device which I specifically ask if I would need to pay anything out of pocket for, and they respond to me saying no. Once everything is done they charge my credit card $200+ in taxes for these upgrades which I was not aware of. Once the seller gets ready to transfer data from my current phone to the new phone; she realizes that she "FORGOT" she would need a working screen on my old phone to make the transfer. HOW DO YOU FORGET THIS?!?! Frustrated at this point, I ask if I can at least go to the Apple store a few minutes away to see if they can do the data transfer: I walk into Apple and manage to get an appointment with the Genius Bar pretty quickly. They look at my phone with the screen that's not working throughly and confirm that there is NOT water damage and they could fix my screen onsite since it's under warranty. At this point I'm BEYOND LIVID with the people at Verizon. I walked back to this terrible Verizon store, tell them I want to return my phone, iPad, hum, etc. and explain my frustration with them. They basically told me my phone was not under warranty because of water damage they did not even check for and I had no other option but to upgrade or pay the deductible on my insurance. I go ahead return the items but they then charge me $225 in restocking fees for items I never needed. Ridiculous. I now after go back to this spot because I realized they only refunded me $71 back to my card when they charged me $191 for my phone upgrade me and $200 in the unnecessary IPad, hum equipment. How does this make any sense? This is was a terrible experience that I had to deal with for almost 6 hours of my day. NEVER come to this place again.i read more

Verizon - Mobile Phones Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I went to this store to upgrade my Apple cell phone, assuming it was an actual Verizon retailer (my cell phone carrier) based on the building signage. I found out after beginning the process of purchasing my phone that this company is a Verizon authorized distributor and sadly my experience reflected this. While the staff was friendly the process of upgrading and transferring my phone data took 2.5 hours. They gave me numerous reasons for all the technical issues they were having, but ultimately it was their incompetence. If Verizon is your cell phone carrier I'd suggest dealing directly with Verizon. Also this Verizon authorized distributor VICTRA retails phone accessories items at 2 times the average price. I ended up paying 2x as much for a phone case and screen protector (exact same brand) as I purchased a year ago at a Verizon store. There are no prices posted on any of the products in this VICTRA store. My bad for not asking before I checked out. UPDATE - yesterday I called the VICTRA customer care main line and was told to send an email message to register a complaint to the VICTRA Fairfax store manager. Have not heard heard back from her yet and doubt I will. Avoid this business at all costs if you value your time and money. read more

This store and its wonderful group of salespersons/advisors (Rochell; Vivian; and Freddy (and Darryl, who was off the day I was there)) are terrific. I was given such incredible assistance, advice, and attention by in-charge person Rochelle (who is a dynamic pro and extremely knowledgeable), and later was also assisted by the extremely warm and friendly Vivian and Freddy. Rochelle guided me quickly to the exact device I needed, and then she and Vivian and Freddy spent over 90 minutes with me as my new phone went through all the procedures necessary for transference of all things from my old phone. The atmosphere in the store was one of conviviality and warmth, and the amount of insight and direction was boundless. These professionals are so sweet and accommodating, and much fun was had by all. WORST STORE EVER! Stay away. This is NOT a corporate Verizon store, it's an "authorized dealer" store. Their sales tactics are misleading. Beatriz insinuated a bundle of accessories I got with my new iPhone were free, when I come to find out on my receipt the bundle was only 25% off with purchase. You can buy these accessories a lot cheaper somewhere else. I was rushed through the process. I couldn't see the breakdown of my receipt and purchase until it was my emailed, which was after the purchase and i had to wait for my emails to reload on new phone. Do yourself a favor and go to an actual Verizon store or better yet an APPLE STORE where u won't be mislead and lied to. It's really sad during these times that salespersons lie and take advantage of customers. If you read the other reviews you can see this store has a pattern of this behavior. If you want to open a Verizon account, make sure you go to an ACTUAL Verizon corporate store. The manager here, Tariq is not helpful, not friendly AND does not take ANY sort of fault of a mistake that was completely his fault. What happened to the customer is always right? Not to mention, actual Verizon can't help you when an 'authorized' retailer messes up. To start off, I wanted to open 2 new lines under their BOGO deal. One phone had to go to the east coast and Tariq said he could ship it. All cool. When I gave him an address (P.O. Box) he sent it UPS. Everyone knows UPS doesn't deliver to PO boxes and the package got lost and took forever to get back. It is not the CUSTOMER's responsibility to tell the MANAGER of the store how to ship the phone. Let's get that straight. This issue snowballed. When I confronted Tariq about this issue, he then directly told me it was MY FAULT for giving him a P.O. Box address. Are you for real? You talk to customers this way? My boyfriend had to step in because he was so disrespectful to me. At this point, I just wanted to get my account up and running. Two months later (yes TWO MONTHS) they finally fixed my account and I was able to get the second phone in the right hands. Too bad I'm still on the phone with Verizon EVERY MONTH trying to get this original BOGO deal I signed up with. It's absolutely ridiculous. Victra - you need to really vet your Managers because Tariq is not someone who should be the face of your store, let alone any store. He should not be dealing with customers in any capacity. I had a complication with activating my new iPhone at the in-Store pickup (Victra - Fairfax). The complication had nothing to do with the Victra - Verizon staff. Larry, who handled the handoff at Victra (Fairfax) went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the problem was resolved with Verizon and that everything was smooth sailing with my new phone and account. I mean, he spent a looong time with the Verizon techs and customer support. Larry is a fantastic guy and takes his responsibility to his employer as well as the customer seriously and gracefully. TL;DR: this is not Verizon and Verizon takes no legal responsibility for the deals and arrangements made by this store. The store makes false claims they cannot follow through to make commission. Do not use this store under any circumstances. Ever. I've been with Verizon for going on 8 years without incident. On Black Friday 2018 I made the mistake of purchasing my iPhone X from this store and it's been hell every month since. They told me I had to buy all these other gadgets in order to keep my bill below $100. Gave me a "free" hum device, a "free" tablet, for two months as I came into the store to pay them told me no money was due. Cut to January when I get a bill for $486. 8 hours (2 days of being on the phone or in the store to fix it) they finally credit the erroneous charge but neglect to tell me the account isn't up to date (despite payments being made to them). 6 months later and the problem is "hopefully" resolved. I say hopefully because they've told me repeatedly it was resolved and then the following month I get calls from Verizon that my phone is being shut off, followed by three hours on the phone to correct their error. Where I went wrong: trusting the people who work here that told me "they'd handle it; no worries." read more

She stopped me in the middle of talking and refused to exchange a phone that I bought 24 hours earlier. They lie about restocking fee which by verizons corporate office should be $35.00. The sales person said it would be $70.00 dollars. I called corporate the day after my negative experience and they tell the verizon rep oh we can help her come back to our store. If I could give this place zero stars i would. I came in back in November to open a new account and buy a new phone along with a Apple Watch. The on-site manager that day processed the order and said there was a complimentary HUM device along with a wireless charger and screen Protector for opening a new account and phone. I paid almost 100 for the service fee and activation charge. Traded in my old iPhone which was in pretty much mint condition for a discount on my newly purchased phone and watch. The watch I wanted wasn't in stock so they had to order it. A week later and my watch hasn't arrived. I go in person to check the status and find out they ordered the wrong item, also realize that my phone bill is much higher than what i was originally told it would be. I try and return the HUM device because i called Verizon directly and they said i have monthly service charge for it. The manager ( which I don't know how to spell her name) tells me not to worry that the item was a "free gift " and if I sign up for online payments it will cancel out the service fee.... 3 weeks later I finally get a call that my watch came in and I have to go in person to pick it up. Fast forward to today, realize that my phone bill is still high and that the credit for my trade in hasn't been added to my account. Give them a call and a gentleman proceeds to tell me that the my trade in credit was applied to the seven charge for the phone and for the HUM device.... At this point I'm livid and beyond upset that none of that was communicated initially. Never once was I told that the damn HUM device came with a charge or that the wireless charging device had a fee( keep in mind that it was supposed to be free for signing up for a new account ) also I had to throw away the wireless charging device because it would charge my phone for 3 hours and only 20%!!!!! So now I have to wait until Tuesday when the female manager works to try and figure out what the hell was done to my account. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with this place. Save yourself the headache and trouble and just go to an actually Verizon retailer. Yesterday, Thursday 12/20/18 my service with Jania C. was the calm to my storm that morning. I dropped my Galaxy Note 5 several hours earlier and after trying everything I couldn't get the screen back on. I knew I was due for an upgrade with Verizon but wanted to drive around the city to see the cost to repair my phone. The cost raised my stress levels however after owning my phone for almost 3 years, this was the first time I came across a problem with it, even after dropping it over a thousand times. I'm not one who is easily attached to her phone and can be without one for a while, however with the holidays next week I need something were my family, friends, and clients could reach me. My plan was to leave with the cheapest phone as possible with no 2 year agreement & without trading my original phone in, since I would be getting it repaired. I asked Jania what was the difference in accepting my upgrade vs. just adding a device to my phone line and she calmly and thoroughly explained to me that it was about the same thing. Her attentiveness to make sure she was meeting my needs and setting me up with the right plan was OVER AND BEYOND refreshing, and I believe she could see I was having a rough morning. She recommended the Pixel 3 or 3 XL and said these were my options that didn't require a trade in. I was so adamant about making sure my price out the door was low and she affirmed to me it was. She warned me about my upcoming bill but the cost was lower then I anticipated. She switched me to a family plan & the price I paid was less then the cost to repair my original phone. She also invited me back to see her so she could help me with more deals that would benefit me in the future. I can't thank her enough for her calmness and special care to me on this day. read more

This is an awful place and they will literally steal money from your credit card. I had such a drama with them. They charged me for a gizmo gadget but never got the device working. It was taking so long I had to leave the store and left the item with them to finish with the promise that they would get it working and deliver it. They never got it working and when I went back to the store they refused to refund me the full amount. They charged me a restocking fee for an item I never even left the store with. They also did not return the full amount. The staff were rude and awful after they actually sold me the unworking device. I had to contact a real verizon to get the situation fixed but I was still out quite a bit of money. They are thieves go to a real verizon who will be accountable for their devices. read more

Kimari assisted us with a new plan, phones, tablet, she was very professional and answered all of our questions from beginning to the end and set us up with everything we needed. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why can we not give this store a 0 star rating?! Looks like we were not the only ones being scammed! So many bad reviews here. Wish we looked before going in. Verizon Corporate doesn't seem to care either as long as they are receiving their cut from this retailer. There is nothing they can do if we bought from a retailer?? Even if it's from one of their authorized retailers?? There should be a class action law suit to this store and Verizon for allowing so many to be scammed this way. Simply went in to add a fourth phone to our family plan of three. Was told there was a "promotion" to upgrade all three phones though contract still had four more months left. Simply pay taxes only for new phones-sounds great! A family plan now for 4 phones with our monthly fees only going up the additional $26 per month for the fourth phone. Well, find out $11 has been charged for insurance we never agreed to, but worse, we are now in a pay down equipment plan. So we paid full retail (over $760 per phone!) but on a monthly installment plan. What's wrong with this you ask? We never agreed to this! We have been with Verizon for years, so 4 more months later, we were eligible to upgrade paying only $199 for brand new phones. These discounted phone plans are no longer offered by carriers and since we left this plan, can not be grandfathered back in! I am a lawyer. I should file a class action law suit! I will post an email contact address for anyone else who were scammed by this store or any other "authorized" Verizon retailer if I decide to do so. read more

Let me first start off by saying that this is NOT a Verizon store, it is a reseller and I have come to find out that Verizon customers are NOT treated the same in here than they are at an actual Verizon store. My experience first began on iPhone 6 preorder day when I went in to see what my plan options would be with a new phone. The "Asst. Manager" Jania pulled up my account and proceeded to go over my options. I wrote these down in the back of her business card and she told me if I wanted to save time, I could pay them for the preorder so I wouldn't have to do it myself at midnight. She never said or inferred that in order for me to get the plan we discussed, I HAD to buy the phone from them. Figured I'm in a Verizon store going over plan options so if I buy the phone from Verizon, I could get the plan we discussed. NOT SO! Verizon customer service told me if I went in to the store, they could give me the plan and this so called Asst Mgr told me to come in and discuss it so fast forward to today when she tells me "No way". She says that when she goes over plans with customers, it's assumed the customer will buy the phone from them. This was never stated to me. I'd say this place is the biggest bait and switch operation and Verizon should be ashamed to have their name on the front of the store. Furthermore, this person who is a so called Asst Mgr is clueless. She even told me I could add Mobile Hotspot for a fee and Verizon has told me this is not an option at all. Do not trust what this store tells you and I highly advise going directly to Verizon. I will be putting in a formal complaint with Verizon about this store's bait and switch procedures. read more
