We have been with Verizon for over 10 years we've had some issues from time to time but we've always been treated with respect until today! The employee named Betty was outrageously rude and disrespectful to us as soon as she walked over she had attitude and was diffensive she cut me off as I was talking said she was just going to get a manager cause she couldn't deal with it!!! The manager apologized for her behavior said she was having a bad day but if you are in sales and customer service you cannot talk to people like that she should of just went home! Let me start out with saying that I have had nothing but issues with Verizon as company since I switched to them and 100% regret signing a contract with them. When I first switched from US cellular to verizon I switched during a time they had a promotion going on that they would pay the remaining amount of my balance so I could switch. They took my old phone and activated a new one. Told me I would get a prepaid card sent to my home to pay off my remaining balance. I waited about 3 weeks and never received anything. I went back to verizon asking them to find out what happened and they told me I wasn't going to get a credit or prepaid card because I never turned in my old phone. I explained that I 100% gave over my phone to a salesmen when I was in last. This fight with them went on for about 5 months. In those 5 months I had to pay off my us cellular bill while I continued to pay my current phone bill. Over the last year or so I have not had major issues, but don't get the greatest service in town. Whatever, I can deal. I decided to stay with them due to my monthly bill being worth the awful service. I decided to do a early trade in via chat with a sales representative, they said they would waive the $30 trade in fee if I paid for overnight shipping and would receive my phone the next day. So I said sure, I can manage to wait 24 hours to get my phone. Next day rolls around and my tracking information says I won't get my phone for 2 more days. I check with verizon who states they did not charge me the overnight fee (which is fine except that means they had no intention of giving me overnight shipping, they just wanted the sale). I ask if I can just go into the store to activate a new phone then and they tell me no, I am just going to have to wait. What makes me the most mad is that I could have gone in that day and walked out with a new phone, but then was promised a phone in 24 hours and now I am waiting 72 hours. I will stay with verizon until this contract is up, and then I am out. Their service in store is never great either. 100% recommend using another phone service. read more

Customer service is a terrible. I am a permanent resident of USA. Because i am not a citizen of US they start asking me questions about my family and even i gave them corect answers they still decided not accept me. They made me twice to sent faxing and after by email my color ID and SSN after all of that when i sent they hung up phone with me. Verizon is at the top of the list when it comes to being the worst! When I'm not in here paying my extravagant bill,Im constantly in here about some other hangup with my service/phone. Right now my biggest issue is the text I keep receiving from verizon saying... "You've used about 90% of your 8GB data plan,you can add a extra 2GB for 15.00 More a month"... REALY? Thats sucks Because T-MOBILE and PCS METRO only end up being about 50 dollars a month and you get unlimited data!!!As much as I pay these assholes every month, for 3 of the newest phones they have it wouldn't hurt them to give me unlimited data. My point is ...you can get the same phone and same phone reception at one of the other "non contract" companies with unlimited data and without the annoying greedy text to up your GBs.Save yourself the money! read more

Save yourself the time and go to an authorized dealer or call customer service. EVERY time I go into this store I end up waiting for a ridiculous amount of time to talk some someone, all the while some jokers are meandering around on their tablets checking people in and generally being useless. If you have an actual issue with your bill, don't expect to get any kind of help. Apparently they'e limited in what they can do in store. Perhaps if they got a little more background information, they would be able to better assist their customers instead of needlessly making them wait only to leave frustrated and disappointed. This store has always done me right. I have been in this location multiple times and they have always given me what I need. A couple of times I had to wait for a representative more than 10 min. and they offered me a bottle of water (nice touch). I will never go back to Verizon because of this corporate store. We went in there the other day to take a couple devices off our plan. We were treated with such disrespect. My husband was pissed when we came in because we have asked Verizon to take these two devices off our plan six plus times. They haven't done it. So we went in to this store to get some help with it. My husband wasn't mean or anything but he was angry with all right.. the guy at the front door with a way to tight shirt on asked if he could help us. My husband told him that we have called and come in many times to get these off our plan. As my husband was talking to "tight shirt guy" his slicked back neck tattoo co worker walked up and got in my husbands face... told us to leave.. that my husband couldn't talk to "tight shirt" like that.. instead of coming over and trying to help defuse the situation he made it worse. The customer service sucks!!! Don't ever go here.. you might as well just talk to wall because it will help you more then this place.. and it won't just give you a piece of paper and tell you that's all it can do for you! read more

So if you looking for a carrier that provides reliable service in a lot of areas that I go through in Oregon, Nevada and CA, Verizon is the best for phone service. We are just finishing up on our contract with ATT. The reason we left Verizon was after being a customer for 10 years, they would not give us any discounts or promotions so we decided to try ATT. I mean, how bad can it be. We let me tell ya, if you think the service in the Verizon store in Medford is bad, then walk across to the parking lot where there are the same amount of inept employees who have really no idea what they are selling and when an issues comes up, they call corporate, both services. However, ATT would not even follow though when speaking to corporate on several occasions. All in all, the customer service and very rural cell signal for phone calls is the best for what's available today. You are going to pay for it, but if you really do need the service, then it is worth it. It will be a long cold day before going back to ATT again. read more

Came in the day after Christmas to hook a new phone up. Expected wait time was 20 minutes. 30 minutes later, we are still sitting and employees are standing together talking. When I purchased my phone I was treated great, but when I go into ask questions or need help. Unless I'm buying something the sales people actually back pedal trying to get out of my way. I have had 2 occasions where instead of taking my turn, they have actually excused themselves to go to the bathroom or had to take a phone call. How unprofessional! Recently we had to move and in our new home I was getting too many dropped calls and horrible cell phone service. I went to the Verizon store to get help. I was treated like it was my fault we moved and was told that there was really only one thing I could do....buy a $200 piece of equipment that would drain my internet time to make reception better. I was told after I refused this option that they would send someone out to our new home to check the signal and try to improve it. I NEVER heard back from anyone. Within a week the wild fires of this summer began. Some were near our home and one was on my husbands job site. I NEEDED phones that would work. We also have a 3 year old little girl and both volunteer on our fire department. For the safety of my family I had no choice. Needless to say I am now trying to fight an early termination fee of $240. My option from this lovely company today was to reinstate my old contract (you can do this within 50 days) and that would eliminate the outrageous fee. Well that makes no sense because then I would have an early termination fee with my new cell phone company and be back without reliable phone service. I am sure I will be sent to collections so I am going to send them the most minimal amount and share my story with anyone who will listen. Verizon puts themselves and the mighty dollar first and the safety of their customers well below that. read more

I have been a loyal Verizon Wireless customer for many years. I have been to many stores across the country and have never been treated so poorly than at this location! I have been there twice and both times it was appalling! My first time in the store I only ran in to buy a lightning cable for my iPod. Most overpriced accessory I have ever bought! It took me 45 minutes just to do that too! Second time, I stopped in to use the payment kiosk and pay my bill a bit earlier than normal. The guy checked me in at the door even tho I was just going to pay my bill. Kiosk was broken. Told door guy, he said he would fix it later. Enter sleezebag to "help" me. I told him I wanted to pay my bill. He took my money and applied it to my account then asked me if he could help me out. I told him I was looking to do an early upgrade as I have had 4 replacement phones sent and still encounter the same issue with each one. Since my contract was up in a few months, I didn't see any problem with them waiving the last few months and doing it a bit early. I was willing to hand this douche cash for a new iPhone but he just told me no and that all he could do was send me another phone (which he did as he was "listening" to me). He does this replacement thing and doesn't even ask me for permission or get my signature. He just swipes his finger on his tablet and submits it. As he is doing all this he eludes to me that there are too many customers who lie about phone issues for them to be allowed to do early upgrades to phone plans anymore and suggests that it is my charger that is the issue. I am using the same charger that came with my phone and the factory cable too. I decided to call the customer service line since a store rep basically eluded that I was a lier about my phone having troubles. The lady on the phone was oh so nice. She not only sent me out a brand new phone, but she applied discounts to my bill to make up for the troubles I have been having. She told me if I had any issues with my phone or plan, to just call 611 and that basically, I would never have to go into a store again. Needless to say, I asked her to contact that store's manager and report what had happened and see if that employee can be reprimanded for how he treated me. Verizon saved me as a customer, but I will never darken that store's doorway again. read more

I went into the store to get help with my new iPhone and all I received were rude comments from a hateful ginger. This man proceeded to tell me I picked a "retarded" phone and that apple was a "shitty" brand. I immediately got up and walked out. Forgetting to get a screen protector I proceeded to the Rogue Valley Mall store and was helped by the most fantastic customer service manager I have had the pleasure of working with. Jabbar was dealing with his own irate customer all while assisting myself and another customer in the utmost professional manner. Only go to Verizon Wireless in Medford if you really love to wait. And wait. And WAIT. Go to Verizon if you then - after WAITING - like to get rushed through your purchase such that the "14-day Return Policy" is pretty much skipped over, and somehow you get insurance through Assurion for a device that never leaves its shelf (Home Phone Connect device) and thus doesn't really need to be insured (how is that going to get lost? I have no idea - and yet now I'm getting a bill for it being insured). Oh, and definitely go to Verizon if you like to believe stuff they tell you that isn't at all true: Like "your new Home Phone Connect through Verizon will get reception at your house even though you don't get any cell phone service there". And what they don't tell you: You can't get any Troubleshooting service for your new device if you don't get cell phone reception at your house, because you have to be able to call from a different phone line than the one that the Home Phone Connect is hooked up to (which is the land line). So if you don't get cell phone service at your house (which is probably the only reason you still even have a land line) then don't hope to get any Troubleshooting help to improve the poor quality of your Home Phone Connect. But they won't tell you that at the Medford store, they just want to make their sale. Now reasons to NOT visit the Verizon Medford store: If you want to return something. Don't even bother to try if it's after their lousy 14-day "Worry-Free" Return period. Even if you couldn't get your device activated for that 14 days, it still counts. You should have been trying it. How? I don't know, but that 14 days is written in stone. You couldn't try it out until after the 14 days expired, but they don't care - YOU CAN'T RETURN IT!! If you do try to return something, first you will wait, and wait, and wait, and WAIT. Then you'll get a polite run-around from the employees. If you're still insistent that you didn't get a fair trial 14-day period, you'll get the rude run-around, but it's still a run-around. It doesn't matter that the device is in brand-new condition, brand-new packaging, and can easily be restocked (for a $35 fee of course) and resold. BOTTOM LINE: Lots of WAITING. 14-day written-in-stone Return Policy (whatever happened to a normal 30-day money back return?) Rude employees. AVOID VERIZON WIRELESS IN MEDFORD! read more

Save yourself the pain, time and money in not shopping at verizon. I would honestly use any other provider given what has happened. I go into the shop one day and finally get the courage to use the kiosk pay. I pay my bill and am on my way out the door when i notice their are extra funds on my account. As any regular normal person i went to the counter to see what this was about. About 20 minutes pass, im finally pulled to the front counter to then be told that i had put CASH on my account. I was shocked and figured hey i paid CASH i can get my CASH back. WRONG! Under i don't understand what law or contract i signed(prepaid did not sign a contract) they are keeping my money in that account and will not let a refund happen. I Immediately went online to a representative. Was given the run around of why i cannot have a CASH PURCHASE refunded is BEYOND ME! I will NEVER shop at verizon and urge any others to steer clear unless they want money stolen from them. Canceled my prepaid line and am never giving them the time of day again. The salespeople at this store work on commission. The person that "helped" me was trying to sell me everything possible. The reason I went to the store was because I thought it would save me time in setting up my new phone. I thought they would help me transfer my contacts, photos, etc. The salesperson told me how to do it, but he left out several steps, so I ended up calling the 800 number anyway so that I could get the correct instructions. Next time I will get my upgrade phone from the Verizon website and call the 800 number for directions as needed. read more
