Where do I start? "Incompetence" doesn't quite cover it. This is a story of complete stupidity that goes back 4 months.
I've been member with Verizon since 1990 and I've never had a problem like this. Back in November my family and I went to upgrade our phones to the iPhone 12. I sat for more than an hour for someone to bring out the phones we had already ordered to set them up and connect them. 3 and a half hours later, they finally managed to connect 3 out of our 4 phones. 3 and a half hours... They took our old phones for the trade in but didn't give me any receipt for the credit. I later found out that I never even received any credit for the trade ins. They were completely unprofessional and told me I should return tomorrow to connect the last phone as it was now closing time. I came back and we spent another 4 hours just for them to say they couldn't connect the phone unless I changed the number. It was my wife's phone and she's had the same number for 15 years. I told them no and that I've upgraded phones many times with no problems like this. After the manager, Heather, got involved. She said she'd let me know when they managed to figure out and they'd call me. A whole month later, right before Christmas, they called me and said they could finally do it. We went and she connected the phone. January comes along and I see a 5th line on my bill. She added a 5th number in order to connect the 4th phone without telling me. In the beginning of February, I received an email from Verizon telling me that they'd have to connect that 5th number. I went back to this Verizon to speak to the manager I had been dealing with and she was gone. The new manager, James, said he'd be helping me from now on. He said he'd credit me for only 3 of the phones and for less than what was agreed upon back in November. He was supposed to disconnect the 5th line from my contract. I left thinking he had and when I checked MY phone, it had been disconnected. I got home and called them back and got my phone reconnected. He apologized and said he would disconnect the 5th line the next day as well as credit me for the 4th phone that we traded in months ago. He was supposed to call me the next day to verify, but I've yet to hear anything. It's been two weeks since then. I've called 5 times and left messages because apparently he's on a perpetual conference call. He has yet to return my call.
In summation, I think I've met more competent fish. I genuinely think these people couldn't count to ten without using there fingers. Don't ever use Victra again. It's not Verizon and they don't care. Not only will they scam you for your money, but they will steal enormous amounts of your time. As I type this, I'm still waiting for a solution to what should've been a very simple upgrade. read more
