All the phone "experts" told me that I needed to get a new phone and that it was no way for them to fix it. I was heartbroken when they told me that because I loved my phone so much I didn't want to buy another. So, I googled "cell phone repair shops in Houston" and this one showed up on Yelp, so after reading all of the positive reviews, I then looked on the website and saw that they were located near the Galleria area. I was little skeptical about driving that far, but I insisted on getting my phone fixed. I first called them and Thomas, the electrical engineer technician talked to me. He was sweet, caring, and understood what I was going through. He then said, come on in and he'll give me a Free estimate to determine what was wrong. When I got to the place, I was greeted by Thomas, he said "So, you're the girl with the Pantech." and I said, "Yes, it is I" He took my phone and went to the back to figure out the problem then after 10 mins he came back and gave me some solutions. He then said well this can be fixed, its nothing wrong with the charger, its the charger port its broken. He only charged me $65 to fix, and I wanted to wait an hour (because I drove a long way) and he charged me $5 to stay (its a policy they have). They have an aquarium, and a big flat screen tv to view while waiting. After sitting down for an hour, he came back with my phone and said he fixed it, and he actually did fix it. I was so happy! I couldn't stop smiling. I was so relieved, I seriously wanted to hug him because he was true to his work! This place is where it's at, don't go to your nearby grocery store wireless center, come here and you won't be sorry!!!! My favorite technician is Thomas because he is very friendly, nice, and won't give you an attitude. I talked to the other technicians and they weren't as sincere as Thomas. I took my iPad Pro to this place to a broken screen. After talking to the store technician he told…read moreme they could replace the screen with a certified Apple replacement screen. I was told before I agreed to have the proceed with the that the screen would be Apple, have a warranty and be ready the next day. It turns out that it took them longer to repair and was replaced with some cheap Chinese knockoff screen. After I receive my iPad back from them supposedly repaired they game me my iPad back in the box that the cheap Chinese part came in. After taking may iPad back home I was able to use it for three days until the screen went black and quit. I had to go back to the store because they would not answer my call. They looked at my iPad and accused me of breaking it tell me it was my fault there product failed and that I would have to buy another screen, After spending over an hour trying to get them to understand the issue and replace the screen with a genuine Apple part I am waiting for a resolution and have opened up a dispute with my ban, i was also able to contact my bank who was able to recotd the conversation. Bottom line I was overcharged for a cheap Chinese part with no warranty and no help costing me $1050 dollar.
