I am incredibly disappointed in my experience with Verizon and specifically the service (or lack of it) at the Verizon store. What I've gone through over the past several months has been nothing short of exhausting -- both financially and emotionally -- and it's clear Verizon has no real interest in helping loyal customers when things go wrong. Earlier this year, my Samsung phone's screen randomly went black. I went into the Verizon store, hoping for a solution. I was told I was eligible for an upgrade -- but only if I gave up my current plan or paid full price for a new phone. Not exactly customer-friendly. So, I reluctantly agreed to get a replacement of the same model, and Verizon provided that replacement -- but not for free. I still had to pay shipping, and I went several days without a phone, which severely impacted both my personal and professional life. Here's why that matters: I manage my daughter's medical and therapy appointments through apps on my phone (she has special needs), and I also run a business that relies on being available and connected. No phone means missed appointments, missed income, and serious stress. When the first replacement arrived, I had to reset everything -- apps, passwords, the works. A few days later, that phone failed too. Same black screen. I went back to Verizon again, and they gave me another identical replacement. Again, I was left without a phone for days. No urgency, no offer of a temporary solution, and no concern for how this was affecting my day-to-day life. When the third phone eventually failed -- same issue, again -- I went back a third time. That's when Verizon decided they were done helping me. I was told that now it was Asurion's problem, and that I should call them. Not only did they refuse to acknowledge the ongoing issue with the devices they themselves had provided, but they also pushed me away entirely. "Asurion can bend the rules. We can't," they said. So now Verizon isn't in the customer service business? The final insult came when I did exactly what they said -- called Asurion -- and was told one thing (that I'd be upgraded and the deductible would be waived), only to be transferred to someone else who denied all of it. When I came back to Verizon to try to get help again, I was told flat-out they couldn't do anything. They just washed their hands of it. At no point did Verizon show any accountability for repeatedly handing me faulty phones. No offer to escalate, no follow-through, no sense of responsibility for the time, money, and stress I've lost because of their devices and their failed customer service. I've been with Verizon for years, but after this experience, it's clear that they care more about policy than people. When things work, sure -- great network. But when something breaks, don't expect help, even when they're the ones who gave you the broken device. If you rely on your phone for anything important -- medical, business, or just peace of mind -- don't count on Verizon to support you when it matters. read more

Several weeks ago we went in store to join a family members plan. We were walked through the entire process and at the time were very happy with Franks customer service. Now, once the bill has gone through we are SHOCKED at all the additional hidden charges we were never made aware of. After hours of talking to customer support our bill is still THREE times the amount we were initially told it would be and are extremely frustrated with Verizon and the service. read more

Freaking horrible!! I am at the hospital with my sick husband, and they wouldn't make any exceptions for letting a family member pick up a new phone for my husband. Even over FaceTime and me talking directly to the man in the store. In dire situations, sometimes rules can be bent or accommodations can be made. I'm a big fan of Verizon. This particular store is not representative of Verizon and I will never deal with them again. Got talked into a "free" jetpack with no contract obligations a year ago. Took me 3 hours on the phone with Verizon customer service to get the activation fee (for a "free" device) dropped. And now that I trying to remove the jetpack so i can upgrade all of our phones to unlimited, I find that we are locked into a 2 year contract. Not sure whether to blame the store manager or the salesperson (Mark Ramirez - avoid him like the plague) but either way, we will take our business elsewhere. read more

3 months ago I went into this Verizon store and paid my bill and the screen locked and stated if I did not press accept I could not return to my verizon service. I returned to the store to speak with Ignacio and hebstayed to come back later and we coumd speak to tech support. I return a week after this and Lisa Miller the manager and Junior a support rep called tech support and they had me speak on the phone and after 3 hours nothing was done. I work for the military and left fir 6 weeks. I returned yesterday and was told no one remembered me or this situation happening Junior who only seems to be onterested in flirting with the female customers coukd have cared less. Fir the past 3 months i was being charged 7.00 dollars extra for a security service i did not want. Just Like the other negative reviews on this Verizon store I also had a bad experience. Signed in, waited 30 minutes, my turn in line was up and got the manager of the store who began assisting several other customers who had not signed in. Mentioned it to him and he barely acknowledges I say anything. Spent $1000 on new iPhone 7 plus accessories including $40 on a 5 cent piece of plastic (glass scratch protector) that was bubbling up and not adhering properly around the edges. Manager replaces it twice, each time the edges still not adhering properly. Manager Hands it back and says it's still doing it, offering no solution to the problem. I ask him if he thinks it's the phone or if the scratch protectors are defective and he says the protectors are defective. I said then why are you selling them if they're defective, he says he can only remove them from the floor if there's a recall. I suggest to him that he might want to consider taking pictures of the bubbling edges problem and email the manufacturer, again doesn't acknowledge I say anything. Bottom line, I was offered ZERO solution to the problem and left with a new $40 piece of plastic on my phone that was still bubbling at the edges and not adhering properly just as the previous one. The attitude of the manager of the store was that it wasn't his responsibility that I had a problem with the $1000 iPhone I purchased, he didn't seem to care at all about customer satisfaction or experience. Whoever owns this place needs to re-evaluate the way this store is being handled. read more

We were there on Tuesday and transferred 4 lines over from AT&T. Our sales rep Roger Trevino went above and beyond to get us the best deal and get all our phones updated and all data transferred over. I could NOT be happier with the service and support we received. If this is what we can expect from our phone provider, I foresee we will be customers for a long time yet. read more

Poor customer service overall. I was completely ignored for the first 10 min I was in the store. Then someone asked if I had "signed in" for assistance on their tablet. Of course my response was no as I wasn't aware I had to sign in to be assisted. When I explained I just wanted to compare some Gizmo devices the man went to the back and retrieved a person who was unable to activate the demo station. I asked if there was any other way for me to test these and she proceeds to read from the back of the box. Bottom line, I left with no information or assistance because they could only demo a Gizmo if I purchased and activated it. Keep in mind I came in to compare 2 devices. Pitiful! My I-phone was not charging correctly and I went into this store, worried that I needed a new phone. I told the young man what my problem was, fully expecting him to try and sell me an upgrade. Instead he set to cleaning out the charge port. He suggested I buy a compatible charger. He also mentioned that I should try the ones I already had on hand, and if I didn't need the new charger, I had 14 days to return it. This is one satisfied customer. read more

I have been with Verizon Wireless for more than 10 yrs, and I have never had such a poor experience than in the New Braunfels store today. I came in to purchase an HDMI cord for my phone. The manager took my name and said the cords are in the back and someone will be with me, there are 3 people ahead. After waiting 10 minutes, we asked how much longer and she said we are next, she could not get the cord for us or ring us up because she is the manager and needs to stay at the door. what manager does not jump I'm to handle such a simple task to get someone done and out the door? Needless to say, after 15 minutes, we left and took our business elsewhere. They need a better system. I'm a retail manager, and I jump in to assist whenever I'm needed. I was charged for "overnight" shipping that is actually 6 day shipping. I was told the broken phone I was replacing wasn't even made anymore, so I would get the next comparable phone. Nope. The staff at this store is beyond compare! Patience is required if you're going to get what you want; wireless service is not simple. I've bought a phone there, and they helped me find a way to get a new one affordably when I drowned it 2 months later. I bought an iPad there, and when it didn't work right, I took it in, and they fixed within minutes. Having to wait to be noticed and then wait to be signed in and then wait to be served is abit much - There must be a better way to improve Customer Service - I walked into the AT&T store next door and was greeted at the door - They even opened it for me - They quicky and professionally answered all my questions and once I was satisfied I noticed they quickly moved to another customer.. At the Verizon store the reps were standing around talking while customers waiting - I actually got more help faster in the Verizon store on the phone with Verizon then I did from the store reps... I've paid thousands to Verizon over the course of my subscription. At one time I had two phones and three tablets on my account. Today I went into the store on Creekside to ask them if they would put a screen protector on my phone. This is an inexpensive protector I bought on line. My reason being anything you buy in their store is way overpriced. Thought I could save a couple of bucks. The guy whose name I didn't get rudely told me, I don't install anything not bought here. What a jerk. In the interest of customer service and considering that I've paid thousands to Verizon, he could have taken a couple of minutes to do this favor. Oh the store was empty. I will be switching to Sprint or AT&T as soon as I am done with this last contract that ends in December. read more
