We love Verizon! We have used Verizon for over a decade without much of a problem. Recently there was a widespread Verizon outlet that I think Verizon credited my husband's account for 10.00. To me, they should have credited 10.00 per phone attached to the account. Verizon has consistent cell phone service and doesn't seem to be more expensive than any other cell providers. I have used T-Mobile in the past and had to walk to my outside fenceline at my home to get decent service which, as you know, is not ideal. All of the Verizon products we have bought have been of good quality of tu and their customer service is consistently kind without unreasonable wait times. Every in store experience has been pleasant and helpful without long waits and I appreciate their help when I have needed it. I highly recommend Verizon for your cellular needs! read more

Verizon stores are everywhere and I can't understand why my review is gone. I know for sure I've been to this location for assistance because I'm always asking questions! The customer service was good at that time. I'm writing this review because I have been out and about more using my data. I recently made sure my settings let me know if I was running out of data. I set the notification settings. What Verizon never informed me was that they reinstated their carry over data for my plan. When I got the email and text today I found out I had plenty of data left in this billing cycle. Businesses are not providing free WiFi as much and I've got to be careful. Verizon overage fees are $20! I'll be posting my activity on Yelp when I get home! read more

Needed to update iPhone from SIM card to eSim, had been to another Verizon store last week and the person wasn't helpful and was rather dismissive so I was a little concerned about walking in to this Verizon store but was thrilled by the help I received from Sid. I didn't have to wait, Sid took care of the update really quickly, he was very professional, pleasant and the whole experience was delightful. He also answered other questions about my FIOS service. Next time I need help, I'm going back to this store and hopefully Sid will be there. read more

I give 5 stars to Verizon at 1430 Second Avenue in New York 10021. I am a very meticulous reviewer and my review of Verizon at 1430 second Avenue should be called superlative!!!! There I was denied by T Mobile to reach my best friend who would never block me or block my words or ideas from his cell phone!! I had told T Mobile that I was having electronic work done to me in my apartment and that I had to reach my best friend also because my best friend would never block me as he would always want to know what I had to say and this job had to be completed and that I still owed him money !!!!! This was to be respected by T Mobile but instead T Mobile treated me like a zero customer when I always paid my payment!!!! I call T Mobile a ZERO Carrier on a communist system!!!! They use this communist system to block you and your friends who never block you to block and deny your life!!!! They are bandit non accommodating crooks!!!! So Verizon with all of its stars has become my new and forward thinking and acting new carrier!!! What a difference from the shameful T Mobile!!!!! I was sold a Verizon charger that doesn't work. I am going to the store today to return it, and hopefully get a working replacement.

They signed me up for a Support Plan that I said no to. This location is shady, be careful working with them. While I was in the story, several other people came in to complain. That should have been a warning sign. This location is still open. read more

The people at this Verizon store are the absolute best. I wish Verizon headquarters would visit this place and use it as a model for all the other locations. Every time I have an upgrade they go above and beyond helping me get set up with a new device. I especially want to call out Matthew. (I think he also works at the Lexington Ave location?) My husband and I were both overdue for new phones but the Verizon store nearest me recently closed. When I tried calling the previous number I had for them I was just hoping a message would direct me to another nearby location but Darvin answered the phone and he was so courteous and friendly that I decided to try this retailer at this location. I'm glad I did. Darvin went above and beyond professionalism. He could not have been any nicer or more patient with me. I asked a GAZILLION questions and he was both knowledgeable and really pleasant. Added charges to bill without advising. Never returned phone calls . Had to have Verizon undue. Failed to attach promotion to account , again never responded and Verizon had to correct. Sloppy . Would never do business with them again. read more

Went here and spoke to the sales man, Damian I really enjoyed the help he gave me. Even though i showed up around 7:45pm he still gave me his attention and acknowledgement with a can do attitude and managed to get me setup with a plan and a new phone. Even with transfering my number from AT&T to verizon he was able to get me through all the steps, helped me understand all the costs and payments and exactly what I was paying for and why. Honestly was worried about the whole process but Damian was well taught and informed with how to get me the plan and help i needed. read more

I am giving a one star rating for Victra a Verizon authorized retailer at 1430 2nd Ave in New York New York. My unsavory experience with Victra started with the much anticipated upgrade of my old Samsung 8 Plus to the now Samsung 10 Plus which I use daily but the false advertising & deliberately false & mendacious conduct of Victra needs to be on record in case other enthusiasts for this Samsung 10 Plus upgrade should also become victims of their lying deceptive schemes on the cell phone Samsung buying public.I got the Samsung 10 Plus upgrade & I was told by the clerk at Victra that my monthly costs would come down to 38 dollars a month & by getting the Samsung 10 plus upgrade I would be saving plenty. I have evidence of this also! All egregious LIES! First of all there is no such thing as 38 dollars a month if you get the Samsung 10 Plus upgrade! Watch out for these lying clerks who are trained to scam you! Then a whole different agenda was given to me as they said to me you pay 171 dollars on your next bill as you are paying monthly on this 900 dollar phone. I took that one because I was told by yet another lying clerk that I would be paying 140 dollars on the next bill. That was another humongous lie egregious LIE from Victra! The agendas they present to the public are all a barrage of lies as your monthly payment will increase to whatever they like! My bill now is 346.76 & quite frankly The Department of Consumer Affairs should also hear about this! No respectful or ethical business practice should get away with these in your face lying phony advertising schemes! We love our cell phones but never expect our local Verizon retailers to train their employees to be spouting a barrage of lies against you just because you're looking for the best cell phone deal & the best reasonable price you can get that's NOT an egregious lie! The public deserves better than what Victra is offering which is a scam! Let's get all of these scamming Verizon retailers who are maliciously lying to the public out of our neighborhoods!
