The store manager who's name is Ever was very rude and trying to be dominant like I was his child as an employee of Verizon we get so many complaints about store interactions and I see why. I can't call it "service" because the guy I talked too (white, comeover, blue eyes) served me in no way and only made excuses about why he couldn't do anything. I had been having issues with my daughters phone, and went to the store to see if they can figure out what the problem was. The guy at the front as I walked in and explain what was going on flat out told me they couldn't help me. I told him I had already called support and they directed me to come to the store and he said there was nothing they could do ! So I asked them what am I supposed to do and he said he didn't know. He could've at least taken the time and look Into the account and try to see what was going on and then tell me to call support again! He just didn't wanna get out of the chair or have someone else do it. It's not like they were busy. The store was literally empty. All the employees were sitting there talking to each other. The representative that assist me, was very rude and unhelpful! I came in because I needed a new phone he thought I came in for service and didn't want to help me !! I told him that I had gone to the one in Van Nuys and that they had offer me a good deal and then he stated "that they are Shady" Wow Is that how you speak about your fellow associates? This review will be a little long due to multiple interactions. Belindar is a sales rep that is upper nice, knowledgeable and a great help when you are shopping for a new cell phone provider. We switched to Verizon. We were able to take our phones back with us to transfer everything from the old device to the new one and agreed to come back to the store to turn our phones in a few days later. So a few days later we walked into the store and belindar wasn't there. The manager Hector said hello and asked why we are here. I explained the situation and asked for belindar who was already left for the day. I told him we are here to trade our phones in and get a credit applied as agreed with our sales rep. Hector said: that takes 14 days. First of all what takes 14 days? He said for the billing to establish. I said well, on my app I already see my bill so it seems to be established, he did not care and said again it will take 14 days. So I wanted to turn in the phones and he said why don't you come back Tuesday when belindar is here. Why would I do that when I am talking to you as the store manager? Are you not capable of taking two phones and are you not able to apply a credit? I guess not, rude as he can be we walked to the door. He mumbled something else and that's when things turned even to the worst. Hector! Let me lecture you about customer service! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANS TO SERVE CUSTOMERS, YOUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS PAYING CUSTOMERS SUCKS AND YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO BE MANAGER! These people a crooks! My wife went there to buy me a Father's day present, she bought me a Galaxy Note 5 and they told her that because it was father's day, he was going to throw in a FREE Bose soundlink. She was very clear (told him more than three times) that she wanted a two year contract and not the edge program because she didn't want our bill to increase. He told her that with the two year agreement she would pay 299 for the phone and because he was such a great guy, she was going to get the Bose speaker free. When it was all said and done he told her with taxes and everything her total came out to 374. He never gave her a receipt. Once she told me what happened and although I loved the gift, I knew something shady had gone down. I began to do some research and asked different places (best buy, Walmart, target, ect.) Come to find out with a 2 year contract the note 5 is only 49.99 plus you get a free VR headset and a 100 gift card @ BestBuy!!! So I call Verizon and at first they try to cover for each other saying that the guy was not there and that I needed my receipt (which they failed to give). So I request to speak to manager and I ask him to pull up my receipt, then I ask him to read the charges that he was looking at so that he couldn't lie to me. He tells me that we were placed on the edge program for which my wife made a down-payment of 99 dollars?? And she had paid 179 for the Bose speaker!!! I was like WTF! I was so mad that I drove down there to return everything. When I got there I was so mad, I honestly felt that they had taken advantage of my wife because she was a female. I talked to the manager who was very nice, and told him that they were a bunch of crooks and that I will never buy from Verizon again. Needless to say I got my money back and I will be switching carriers very soon. My advice to you all is please make sure you get your receipt and go over it on the spot, if something looks shady it probably is! I was racially discriminated against this rep- grifda9-E1A00. Went in to buy a new phone and he didn't bother to ask if I was paying monthly or paying full price. He automatically added it as monthly payments. He told me my new monthly bill and I asked why was it so high? He said because the phone is paid monthly over a 24 month period. I told him we were paying in full. He stated "you do know it's a $1200 phone?" Like if I couldn't afford it. I said "yes I'm very much aware of the price". He had this look like he couldn't believe as a Mexican and my husband being black we could afford such phone. He made the statement about the price of the phone a couple of times. He asked if I was a first responder and I said yes. He asked my title and I told him a receptionist but he said only ER nurses qualify. So I'm not a first responder if I work as a receptionist in the actually ER?!? Being face to face with covid patients? He was a total asshole. I then mentioned to him that I wanted to lower the unlimited plan I had to the basic one and he mentioned I already had the lowest one. Which was a complete lie because I was able to change it on my own after we left. I can see why this place only has 2 stars. I will never go back to this store. He should be fired. read more

I'm not sure what all the low reviews are about. I have NOTHING but totally positive things to say about this store. They are very busy, so I understand some wait. But everytime I have been in, they are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I come from 16 years of retail sales and maybe I've been waiting to say this.....sometimes it's actually the clients issue, not the staff or store. For those of you in the IT field, people can sometimes suffer from "ID10T" errors. I love this store and my cell service with Verizon. Warning! If you upgrade in here, make sure that you take your SD Memory cards out BEFORE you go in because they won't remind you to check, then they'll take your SD card with your photographs and you're just out of luck. Manager Alex flat told me it's not their responsibility to check for SD cards. Maybe, but it's good customer service to ask if the customer wants to keep their SD card instead of just grabbing the old phone and saying, "you don't get to keep this"and chucking it in a box. Oh, that's right, this is Verizon who doesn't know what customer service is because the managers are rude. Now I remember why I'm still with T-Mobile. This store has gone out of its way to confirm to me that I don't want to ever switch to Verizon. read more

I went to the Verizon store in Glendale and they printed it out without an issue. The only questions they asked were my account number and pin in order to get my information, and they were friendly. The "Solution Specialist" at this store needs to be properly trained to actually make solutions. The Glendale store never gave me a problem in the 12+ years I was with Verizon. This store in Palmdale is untrained. Reviews show that the Lancaster store is better, but then again anything would probably be better than this place. read more

I went it wanting to exchange my phone due to glitching and i kindly went to a floors rep for help and i couldn't really understand him because he was talking so low, he got upset and made me go to another representative. so i spoke to the manager and he said he was unable to help me and to wait for a different floors representative ( as a manager isn't he able to help w everything?) anyways I got there and waited for help for about 30 minutes, and when the time finally came to get my situation fixed the manager did not care about my wait time or even helped me after i let him know that i had to clock into work soon. While i was talking to the floors rep she was very short sentenced, kinda gave an attitude and seemed very moody. Horrible customer service, no sense of urgency when dealing with a store full of customers. Went in to exchange a galaxy note 7, was advised it would be about a 45 minutes to an hour wait. There was easily about 15+ customers there for the same issue and about 7 employees to assist. I waited for over an hour and saw multiple employees in a corner just shooting the breeze, going back and forth from the front to the backroom and staying there for extended periods of time. Aside from one hispanic female employee who helped about 4 customers in that one hour span consistantly, all the other employees obviously did not care about the needs of the customers nor did they value our time. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to another store. I ended up walking out of there without getting my phone exchanged. read more

EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE!! I had Verizon for over 10 years and had to come to this Verizon store whenever I needed something taken care of for my Verizon service and boy am I glad switched carriers and no longer have to deal with this location. Takes an hour to two hours to have someone help you. There was a day I just wanted to purchase a car charger for my phone and they made me wait even for that. The little dude there (vertically challenged, small person) is a smarta@@ and is not very nice... he questioned me about a couple of phones I took in to have service switched to, asking me "where did you get these phones..." looking at me like I was trying to activate stolen phones or something. I am glad I am with T-Mobile and no longer have to deal with these Verizon punks! read more

They waited 30 minutes after closing hoping it would process and come through. I finally choose to leave. They called me to come back ten minutes later. they had my phone ready to go . The customer service here is really a hit or miss. You either get lucky and have a very sweet and helpful sales associate or you get unlucky and get a rude one. I've had both experiences. They also keep screwing me over with my bill, they charged me an extra $40 for phone insurance that I never agreed to. Had to go in and get it taken care of, and I got lucky with a helpful associate. I had a negative experience here when I came in because they sent me a used broken replacement phone because they sold me a brand new defective phone, such BS. Anyways I came in frustrated because the replacement phone was broken and the woman who "helped" me (didn't catch her name) basically said it wasn't there problem and I'd have to call headquarters. I walked in today and the lady put my name on the waiting list to be helped. She said there we one person ahead of me, which is true because they walked in right before I did. It wasnt even very busy. I sat on the bench inside waiting patiently with my 3 year old. Several people kept walking in after me and being put on the waiting list too. They were all helped before me. some of them even left after being helped and more coming in and getting helped. All while me and my little girl Are waiting. I literally waited an hour and there was about 8 people helped before me even though I was "next." I left all pissed off. I figured I Would try my luck at the Lancaster Verizon near Jamba Juice. When I walked in it was busy I thought oh great I'm gonna be waiting for ever again. That wasn't the case at all. I walked right in and got helped literally as soon as an walked in. This review is for sales rep Chris. At the palmdale verizon store near the mall around Rancho Vista at 12.00pm 9/30/18. He was very unhelpfull. I asked him to give us an estimate of our next bill and to print it out so we have proof in the case we are charged more than we are suppose to. We have had issues in the past and we have been credited before. He went to the back and spent 15 minutes and was unable to print anything out. The second issue we had with Chris is that he lied to us. We are on a family plan and one of us downgraded from an iphone to a flip phone. She was promised that she would be paying 10 dollars a month for her flip phone a month plus 5 dollars a month to pay for phone over x period of time(activation was taken care of the day of activation with cash). He protested and said that NOBODY pays only 10.00 for a line and that the average is 25.00 dollars but use to be 45.00. I then asked him if I could remove my line to lower the bill. He said yes and that Im only PAYING 10.00 on my line and that this would only reduce our bill by 10.00. At that moment I knew he was not going to help us. I Will be returning to speak to someone civil and hopefully not a sleazy verizon salesmemeber. read more

I took the phone in and Benjamin who stayed was the store manager but refused to give me his last name was absolutely no help at all. First I was given a hard time about the phone after they realized it wasn't my fault he said I would have to wait for a new one in the mail. It took three days to get the new one. He also had taken off the screen protector I had bought there for $40 dollars tore it and refused to replace it. He stated it had no warranty first of all it did and even if it didn't I did not take it off, he did, so why should I have to buy another one for his mistake. After him being rude and refusing to help. I left and needed up calling customer service. He had horrible customer service skills did not empathize with me at all and was over all rude. Just bought a new phone since mine was no longer working well. Of course a screen protector and case was offered. Our sales person was very nice and very knowledgeable and she told us if we bought the screen protector and case we could get one item of equal value free. My husband wanted a wireless charger but the one he wanted was more than the equal value so she said it would be $30 more and he said no problem. When we got home we realized we got the cheaper charger and not the one we paid for. My husband went back the next day to exchange it, a male representative said that the cheaper one we got was the right one. He told my husband that everyone says that because they want the more expensive one. My husband explained again what the girl had said and the male rep said no again. So my husband returned all the items we ordered except the screen protector since it was already used. It is true you usually have to wait to get help, but the help I have gotten there over the years has been great. I have been with Verizon and the other names it changed from for 25+ years. This time I called first to see how long the wait would be and spoke to Randall who was very helpful. He checked to see if the phone I wanted was in stock and it isn't so he explained I could order it online and get it just as fast without coming in. Then to come in when I get it for more help I need. I ended up calling back two more times with other questions and got Elaine and Sean. All 3 of them were very professional, and patient with me. Alexis, is the best. Not only did she show me how to operate my new phone she showed me how to save money. One of the equipment was not working, operator error and she showed me how to operate it correctly and how to use my phone as a back up. Great service! We came to the store to purchase accessories for a Samsung 8+ and iPad. They did not have the cover or screen protector in stock. We paid for the merchandise and salesperson advised items would be shipped to my home in 2-3 business days. After 8 or so days and the inability to track package on line, I called customer service. 30 minutes into the conversation it was obvious the order was not where it was promised to be. I did receive a text from customer service telling me that my items were at the store. No call ever from the store telling me my items were in. The iPad cover was the wrong one. Turns out the Zagg screen protector does not properly fit the phone. The customer service rep installed it. After it pulled out my hair, cracked and came off I deemed it defective. Today I registered a complaint with Verizon. Hopefully the store takes THEM seriously because we were treated with a great deal of disrespect. The manager at the store basically cast us aside and said "everyone makes mistakes" instead of resolving our situation. It took four visits to the store and then and only then after calling customer service and escalating the issue did some nominal resolution occur.
