I wanted to leave a review after seeing one that didn't quite reflect my experience at this location. I worked with Brian, a newer representative, and he was patient, professional, and genuinely committed to helping me with exactly what I needed. He took his time answering all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. When he needed additional support, Junior stepped in right away, which only showed the strong teamwork at this store. I would much rather have representatives who take the time to ensure everything is done correctly than feel hurried through a transaction. As someone from the older generation, I truly appreciated the respect and patience shown by both Brian and Junior. I'd have to say our experience prior to working with Maurice was not very good. I don't want to smash on anybody in particular because the first guy was really nice but totally misled us. We switched phone plans and decided to get a family plan with Verizon. My husband dropped off his family plan to join one with me and our daughter. And of course, we joined in on one with him. That said, the day we went to buy three phones, we ended up walking out with just two. The third phone couldn't get up and going. And we were there for a couple of hours! Lots of chaos. The short of it was, I had to call the 800 number to get the third phone going days later. We were told about a TV that comes with Wi-Fi and ended up taking the deal. There was no information given to us about the TV, turned out. The Wi-Fi was just as expensive as spectrum (which we already pay) so I ended up having to take the Wi-Fi back and do away with the "free TV." Allegedly the original Guy told my husband to call the 800 number on his own to get the Wi-Fi box returned. When I walked in today, Maurice was helping another customer and decided to stop everything to assist me and helped me cancel the WiFi and directed me on returning the box. The things that didn't operate properly to begin were honestly very small, tedious, and doable fixes. My husband and I ended up figuring all this out on her own in order to get his new iPhone up and going. Sometimes it kind of seems like people just work on commission, which is understandable! But to complicate someone's process is never fun for a customer. I just wanted to commend Maurice for his assistance and we will work with him anytime going forward! Just an update-- Victra, the company that runs this store, called me and promised to help-- and guess what? NOTHING but a waste of my time. They claim they "can't do anything" even though it was THEIR employee who deleted my voice mail. If Victra reaches out to you, just be warned that they will merely pass the buck. They wasted more time and were utterly useless. Shame on Victra and Verizon for deleting my personal voice mails for NO REASON and refusing to fix the problem THEY CAUSED. Horrible, liars and hide in the back after they screw you over. August got us to change our family to Verizon promising to save us money. Not only were there hundreds of dollars in hidden fees, our monthly bill is double of what it was at T-Mobile. Walking in and nobody was there but it felt like I was bothering the employee. Had a few questions was given vague answers,no suggestions and my questions were answered like I didn't know anything. Really getting frustrated with not only Verizons cell service, but the lack of help and customer service to a long standing customer. Very unhappy about this and probably going to switch providers because of this!. Btw, the warranty they provide are absolutely horse crap! Definitely feel ripped off and I would avoid shopping at any Verizon store as they tell you false info and make it a pain to get anything resolved. I had ordered a brand new iPhone for my mother and she went into the Visalia, Ca store to pick up. They told her they could not help her set up her phone, and did not offer a protective glass cover, wall plug or anything else for purchase. She went to Best Buy to make her purchases. I called the Visalia store and their is no way you can "speak" to an actual person. On Friday, July 22nd, I called the Viktra / Verizon Spring st. Store in Paso Robles and spoke with Emily. I told her of my issues and she said, come on in and I will see what I can do for you. They were extremely busy, but Emily was helping me and two other customers at the same time. Bought a glass screen protector here 7 days ago. I did drop it once, so thats on me. It broke in three places. For some reason I thought there might actually be some kind of warranty... NOPE! You only paid the 40$ not the 70$ which comes with replacements. Hmmmm wasnt offered that but I probably would not have spent that since the last screen protector I had lasted two years (dropped it a few hundred times and never broke). This is what you get for going to a store that has the large VERIZON sign out front but is an independant shop not owned by VERIZON. Virtually no customer service since they dont have to answer to anyone. Oh well, lesson learned... no more purchaces from a non-corporate VERIZON store. The upside was that the associate who helped me the first time (Noah) was pleasant and helpful. Update 12/11/2018 Steve the Regional Manager called me to clear things up and make things right. The call and time taken to make it were much appreciated. I will be giving Go Wireless another shot based on Steve's customer service. read more

I did not want to change cell providers, but my spotty reception with my old carrier left me no choice. It was a stressful experience from the moment I walked in the door. The staff was pushy and yet unwilling (unable?) to actually just be quiet and listen to my needs or questions. Guess what Verizon: I did my research before I arrived, and was well informed and knew exactly what I needed for both a phone and plan. It took over 90 minutes of me telling the Verizon associate that I wasn't interested in the phone they thought was best for me, or whatever premium expensive plan I apparently needed. So exhausting! Bottom line: the less time spent in Verizon the better you will be. Always walk in prepared to be harassed though because that seems to be their specialty. Also, after I got home and more thoroughly read the paperwork I realized that a fee I specifically asked about was included in my bill after all--they basically lied to my face. This place needs to be avoided. read more

I have been pretty disappointed in the past with my Verizon Store experiences. Long waiting periods and a general lack of care, coupled with their favorite words: "sorry, we can't do that, we can't help you with that, or we don't carry that." Honestly, I was starting to wonder, why they even had stores. Ricky turned my opinion 180°. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, answered all my questions, helped me set up my new phone and made this all around a pleasant experience. That guy goes the extra mile. WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! I've been a Verizon customer for over a decade. I went in last week to buy a case and screen protector for my new Samsung S9 at this location. I bought a $60 case and the $40 tempered glass protector that the manager, Cheyenne, put on my phone for me. Less than a week later, the tempered glass protector started to lift because it was put on crooked. And because of that, the protector cracked and splintered throughout the whole protective screen. I went in and saw the same young girl, Cheyenne, the manager, who put it on originally and showed her what happened. She asked me if I bought the $80 package which meant that it would "only" cost me $10 to replace it today! I thought $40 was a ridiculous amount to which was what I paid. I told her no and said if I had put it on myself, I would admit responsibility and buy a new one, but since she put it on incorrectly which caused it to break in less than a week, I thought for customer service sake she would do a one time replacement. She couldn't care less and said that she was the manager and that is the policy. Very rude with so much attitude! I called Verizon to complain and they completely apologized for her behavior and gave me a full refund instantly! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!! RUDE AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! read more

I want to tell everyone what a great experience we had with our Verizon expert Josie. She was extremely knowledgeable and unbelievably helpful. My husband needed a new phone with better storage and picture/sound capabilities. She was able to direct us to the perfect device and price point quickly. Also we were having problems with our iPad and she quickly and without hesitation resolved that issue as well. Pleasant to deal with while buying a phone, aside from the numerous fees I feel entitled to having waived such as a "renewal fee" for a decade-plus Verizon customer. That aside, the purchase was OK. After owning my phone for some ten days, I set the phone on my office desk, softly as I don't want to scratch it's finish, and the screen glass splinters diagonally. This is not the retailer's fault, but when I take it in for assistance I'm told to drive to San Luis to deal with Apple. I've since become aware this is a sign of flawed workmanship in adherence of the glass to the digitizer/LCD unit and should be warrantied. This was not of great help and I'm unsure why I would again purchase from a "premium retailer" which cannot offer service the moment after you sign a contract. I will go to Apple in San Luis and continue going to Apple in San Luis, not Phone and Wireless in Paso Robles. Gave them a second chance after being not-so-impressed at their previous location on 13th. read more

He solved a glitch on my new Apple 6S phone instantly..I returned a day after purchasing the phone, and Brandon solved the problem right away. This was after I had been communicating with 4 different Apple support people to solve the phone issue, and they couldn't accomplish what Brandon did so quickly. I can't say enough good things about Levi and Christopher V at the Verizon store on Spring St. Christopher helped me with my original purchase, taking time to explain each feature, and Levi helped me (the next day) with my exchange. After one day I decided my first purchase wasn't right for me, so at 5PM (an hour before closing) I went back to exchange for a different model. Levi is one of the most patient people I have ever worked with! He did not try to talk me out of the exchange, a phone with lesser value, instead he showed other models, explaining each, nor did he try and make me feel guilty about my return. As the clocked ticked closer to closing time, Levi didn't rush or change his friendly professional demeanor. In fact, I mentioned the time and he told me not to worry about their closing time. I ended up leaving at about 6:10, a very happy and pleased customer. read more

I would like to thank Megan Donovan for her help. I got my phone wet and she made the procedure to get another phone very easy. I received my new phone the following day (I was insured) she programed it and transfered all my data and was beyond patient and pleasant. I have returned to Verizon for other reasons and was able to observe her with other customers. She was professional, respectful and efficient. I was able to see that this is how she conducts herself with all of her customers, not just with me. I am glad she was the one that assisted me. read more

I love my Verizon Store, Megan is awesome. As an indipendent business owner of Central Coast Party Helpers, it's absolutely imparative I have good phone service. She is always welcoming and ready to help. She has helped my many times and when my daughter Tiffany came into town and needed a new phone, she was most helpful, informing us of our choices and making the best one. Megan also helps me when I have any situation where I don't know what I did, what button I may have pushes or (not pushed), I'm not very technically savvy when it comes to my phone, but she certainly is. Yesterday I came in and didn't now what to do about not being able to take more pics, she pressed a few buttons and it's like magic, she fixed it :) Today I came in because my phone was muffled to my callers, she directed the girl that was helping me as to what to do, and YAY it's fixed, I have purchased phones and my new Ipad there and love them. My husband broke is glass screen on his iPhone. Went into store to see what we could do about it. Josie the manager looked up our account and said we did not have insurance. Told us he needed a new iPhone. After a couple of days my husband asked me to call Verizon to see if we had insurance, we did, and could have replaced the class for $30.00. But was told we missed the 14 day deadline to report (our bad) was told to write a letter to corporate... I did. Called Verizon again to see what the outcome would be, was advice to reach out to district manager after I spoke with a Josie, who told me "these things happen " emailed Stephan Creggar (district manager) with no response what so ever. Now I will be contacting the BBB. I feel this was deceitful on Josie's part and the manager is backing this. Verizon told me this is not a corporate store, so we would not be getting a full refund on s 1,200.00 phone because we had insurance. Now we will always go to a corporate store and always check on our insurance status before we do anything. Buyer beware at this store. read more

My brother got a phone here the other day, they told him that they would keep his old phone for 24 hours in case anything happened with the transfer of memory. When he got home and synced his phone the memory was erased. So we went back to find out that they had already wiped it. So they went against what they told us then, and to make it worse they employee there whose name I believe was Anthony had such an attitude problem tossing his phone around and didn't seem like he cared at all. You are much better off going to the other Verizon stores in paso. read more

I am on my fourth iPhone and have had good experiences with other Verizon stores but getting my iPhone 6 with this location was unprofessional. I was into the store three times and had three different associates assist me but all three were rude, short and not helpful. When picking up my new phone the associate seemed annoyed I was purchasing a case as well. The information that was to be transferred over was not and they we're not helpful to correct the issue. All employees seemed annoyed to be at work. I will not go to this location again. read more
