My son took his phone here to get it checked out and they said it could not be fixed. So they proceeded to sell him a new phone. He came home with a new phone and a tablet. He said that the guy told him that the tablet was free and would not increase the bill. We told him to go back down there and take the tablet back because it would not end up being free. Well he did go back done and the sales person promised that it was free and the bill would not go up. My husband even got on the phone with him to confirm. Well guess what? Our bill has gone up by $150. So far we are not getting them to honor what they said and we are probably going to leave Verizon. read more

I went to this store today to purchase a new SIM card for my mother in law's phone as the old one wasn't working. Not only was the employee incredibly rude and arrogant the entire time, but the store smelled really awful as well. The two employees working were having a loud personal conversation while customers were waiting. The employee that helped me that was incredibly rude and cut off my sentences also had her mask off for a portion of our discussion and did not observe any social distancing as she walked up to us within inches and asked to hold and touch our phone, which was completely unnecessary, but especially so during a pandemic. When I called my mother in law to verify the account, she proceeded to listen to my call and talk over me in some sort of power trip. The store just looked dirty and there were things lying all over the counters and the displays looked really sad. This visit alone made me loose faith in the future of humanity. The moment I walked through the door, 2 of the 3 employees ran into the back as if they had a phobia of doing their job. The remaining employee kindly greeted me by asking "what do you want?" I said I wanted to switch my current phone over to version. She replied, "so you don't want a new phone?" I replied no. At this moment, I lost her. She tried her best to be as non-helpful as possible. In fact, if being useless was a sport, this staff would've been Olympic gold medalists. I almost admired her for it. After 10 minutes of me trying to convince her to let me give version my money, one of the two skittish coworkers, who was curiously sweaty, came out from hibernation and proceeded to sit directly on the floor. I know what you're thinking, this can't be real. I was thinking the same thing myself. After processing the last 25 minutes I'd spent in this twilight zone, I figured it was time to go. With all this being said, not only will I not be switching to Verizon, I am completely giving up on modern western society. This review will be my last use of modern technology before I move off the grid to ensure I never have to go through this again. If idiots were airplanes, this Verizon store would be an airport. If you want good service don't go to this location! I took my 83 year old aunt in to buy a new phone. The girl that helped us was very nice but was new and didn't know much. Every question I asked she had to go ask the other girl but had to wait a few minutes each time because the other girl was helping someone else. Because of that it took us well over an hour. Then originally we were going to have them transfer all of the phone numbers and set up the new phone but my aunts phone was so old they would have had to do it manually. We didn't want to wait longer so I said I would do it. When we got home we realized that they had still charged her the $25 fee. We went back the next day and the guy said he couldn't give a refund and that we would have to talk to the manager. I stopped in 2 more times and called but he was never there when they said he was scheduled. The girl who answered the phone took my number and said he would call me the next day but he never did. Very poor customer service at this location! New associates shouldn't be helping by themselves until they are better trained. I felt bad for the new girl...I felt like they threw her to the sharks! My husband and I went to this location on September 16 to upgrade his phone to the XR, which was on this particular day was selling for $599 everywhere. Although the salesman Daniel was polite, etc., he led us to believe he could get us a really good deal if we also purchased an IPad. He was a fast talker, offered us covers and screen protector, etc., leading us to believe they were free. The whole deal sounded pretty good, so we agreed. Came back a couple hours later to pick up the new phone & pay taxes, etc. We believed all that Daniel told us, were in a hurry, signed and paid $154.00 and were on our way. When we got home and closely looked at the paperwork, we discovered that we had paid $760 for the phone. When contacting him about pricing, he said we did NOT pay $760 for it, because we were receiving a $150 rebate. He honestly was not transparent about all the pricing, etc. I can tell that he used the $150 rebate, along with our trade-in value of $62, to purchase all the things we thought we were getting for free, along with a few extra things including $29.99 for Redux Single Line Membership which we never asked for. I suggest no one ever go to Victra. Maybe going straight to a regular Verizon store would be much better; I'm not sure. We definitely did not get a good deal at Victra. Next time we'll be prepared and maybe just order a new phone from Apple Store. read more
