Stopped here to pick up a case for my new iPhone. An employee immediately came over to help me out. He showed me a few cases and had samples so he could show me what the felt like and looked like on my phone. Verizon customer for years. I've used all the major carriers in the past. Verizon seems to be the best. However, when it is time to get a new phone or I have to visit my local store, I always feel like I'm getting scammed somehow. Usually they are so versed at ripping me off that I am unable to catch it, but yesterday they slipped up. I purchased two new iPhone 6s's in October 2015, 7 months ago. Through all the sales talk, somehow I got convinced that I needed $35 screen protectors for each of the phones. I earned some sort of discount, so it only cost me $28 each, instead. The protectors offered a lifetime warranty, so if they ever broke, I just bring it in and get a new one. Fine, I'll take it. Fast forward to yesterday when I drop my phone on its face in the gravel. It looks like the glass is broken, but only the screen protector was cracked, and it peeled right off. Awesome! I remembered I bought the protectors with a lifetime warranty. So, I head to back to my local store where I purchased them. Manager on duty approaches me, a young lady who was very nice, asking what brought me in today. Showed her the protector and the phone. She agrees with me that it is great the phone isn't damaged and she'll grab me a new cover. Perfect! She takes my old broken screen cover and tosses it in the trash. She returns with the new cover, starts unpacking it from the box, and another associate walks up to her asking what he can do to help. She tells him that I am buying this new cover. Wait a sec, what? She says, oh yes, the cover you had on it was not the lifetime warranty one, but the new one is, so if anything happens to the new one, it will be replaced free of charge. Hold on, I say, I remember I purchased the lifetime warranty cover when I bought the phones. Very matter of fact-ly she says, nope, that is the non-warranty cover, you can tell by where it goes around the ear piece, it is a different shape. She continues that I had the option to buy either the non-warranty one, or the lifetime warranty one, and most people just select the non-warranty one, just like I did. Remaining persistent, I say no, I am pretty sure that it was the lifetime warranty cover. She seems a bit annoyed with me questioning her on her knowledge of these covers, assuring me that she knows what she is talking about. I ask her to look it up. So, to punish me for my persistence she tells me that if I want her to look it up, she'll have to place me in the queue and I'll have to wait for the next available associate- there are two customers ahead of me. Fine. I'll wait. She goes over and sits on a chair with another customer, seemingly just chatting, her back toward me, while I wait 20 minutes. As I sit there, I am second guessing myself. I did buy the lifetime cover, didn't I? Of course I did... or did I? An associate comes out of the back, likely coming off break, looking at the queue on his ipad. It's my turn. He is about to come over to me when the female manager says something to him that I can't hear, and neither can he. She tells him to come over to her closer where she whispers a paragraph or so. He looks up at me and comes walking over asking how he can help. I explain what happened. He looks up my screen protector purchase. He asks where the old cover was. I point to the trash can where she tossed it. He gets the cover out of the trash. He takes one look at it and says, yep, that's a Zagg cover- it's the lifetime replacement one. I told him that she told me it wasn't. He says, no it's easy to tell where it goes around the earpiece- I've got you covered. BAM! It all hits me. This manager, in an attempt to make an extra $35 off of me, lied to me about my broken cover, trying to deceive me into buying a new one, hoping I would just be too stupid to notice. I guess all my feelings of getting ripped off are not unfounded. So, I warn you, BEWARE. These people, especially the female manager in the red Toms, have some pretty dishonest sales tactics. The woman lied to my face without a bit of hesitation, like she pulls that move all the time. I can't believe it would only be about protective covers. In the end, the Zagg protective cover doesn't actually get replaced in the store, as they would lead you to believe when you buy it. You have to mail the old broken cover into Zagg and pay a $5.99 processing fee to get a new one mailed to you, which takes a week. She could have just looked at the cover when I walked in and told me I needed to go and have it replaced online. She knew it was the lifetime replacement cover. I would have been in and out. But instead, she had to try to deceive me into spending another $35 at her store and make me suffer with a long wait because I didn't fall for her shenanigans. I'll give two stars, though, as I will still return for more abuse in the future. read more

6 minutes ago-Edit DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. My experience was horrible. Went into the store with a reservation to transition from an Android devise to an I phone...the rep assigned to me was a fella named ADONIS and so unprofessional...offered no help but discouraged me from buying an I phone. Told me I would have a very hard time transitioning and I would be very disappointed with the camera capabilities....offered no help on how to transfer data, contacts or pictures. Told me I was on my own and to wait for delivery......had to run my Visa card 4 times saying I was entering the data incorrectly but finally I overcame that hurdle. Strangely enough, upon departing the store...the gal who let us in commented "You are going to hate it". Wow.....what is going on ....the service at this store was top notch but not today. I have launched an internal complaint as well since Verizon needs to clean up this mess. I have since cancelled my order and have plans to go directly to an Apple store for which the word out.... offers better customer service .......Total waste of my time.... read more

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review on yelp. But I'm there. Keep in mind while reading that we have been Verizon customers for years to the tune of $200 a month, so the fact that they don't care about losing our business speaks volumes. If only they redirected some of their huge advertising budget toward actual customer service. As part of a promotional deal, we bought an ellipsis tablet when we got our phones in November 2014. That tablet and its connectivity (or lack thereof) to our data plan (for which I have been paying an extra $10 a month) have been nothing but problems, and I really wish I had never bought it. I now know why it was on "sale". It's a complete piece of junk. When I went to this store yesterday, I requested credit for the many months that the tablet has not had access to the data. It turns out that the tablet itself is defective. End result: they waived the early termination fee, offered no credit whatsoever, and in attempting to reconfigure the tablet completely trashed it and it now doesn't work at all. At least it worked on wifi before. On top of this, I was pretty much told that this was my fault for not complaining sooner. It is really sad when a business gets so big that it loses touch with the "service" part of wireless service. I won't be renewing my contract. read more

LIED LIED LIED LIED. went in to upgrade my wife's phone and was told about the Verizon tablet and it being on special and being only $10 a month. I and my wife both asked what the extra charges would be, activation, data etc. We were both told no other fees would be charged at all. Ten days later we got a bill in the mail for activation fees and many other things to include a new line service and data package for this new tablet. Called customer service and got the run around and was told I would get a call back never did. Called again and was told a supervisor would call within 48 hours, nothing. Called a 3rd time and finally got someone that gives a crap, turns out the store opened a WHOLE NEW SUB-ACCOUNT this new sub account was already at 200 additional dollars owed on top of what my 'main' account was. So breaking this down the man at this store lied bold faced, then opened a hidden account ( I had no access to this account on my verizonwireless.com account) and added all kinds of things to the account that I did not ask to have. My only guess is that they get a commission of some sort and that he was padding his for the month. After i fixed all this with the 3rd and finally smart customer service lady I returned to the store. Eric the manage was at the door he started listening then shut me down and sent me to someone else that I had to start explaining it all to again. They seemed concerned and claimed the guy no longer worked there but....liars are gonna lie. I have a hard time believing what I was told on this final trip. read more

Wish there was a Minus Star. I have been a customer of this store for years. But NEVER again. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DEAD THERE. Went in because I had a replacement phone and asked for help to transfer info over. Please note there were only 4 customers max in the store. Not crowded at all. I have ALWAYS had help in transferring the data with any purchase of a new phone or replacement. But my current phone will not hold a charge even plugged in and if it died during transfer I might not know how to complete it. I was basically given a Pixel Quick Switch Guide and told I can do it myself at home. They may have to ask questions that only I would know in setting it up so he wasn't going to do that. I said I would be there and did not care answering them. Mind you I have done this forever. Please tell them not everyone is a Millennial and cant wait to do everything them selves. It was the belittling attitude the salesman had, that put me over the edge. Last I knew I was the customer and you needed me. Now if I wanted to buy something, he'd be all over that I am sure. I am filing a formal complaint with the Verizon Headquarters as well. Don't get so big you forgot where you came from. read more

We went to this Verizon store to switch our service from Sprint and to get new phones. This is a process that I usually dread because often employees can be condescending and less than patient with us from the baby boomer generation who aren't as tech savvy as they are. But I never felt this way at this Verizon store. We were warmly greeted and checked in. After a short wait, we were helped by Khloe. She was patient, kind and efficient. My new iPhone had to be ordered. When it came in I went back to Verizon to have it activated and set up. I asked specifically for Khloe. My parents are having me write this review for them because they aren't tech-savvy. My dad needed a new phone so they went in to get one. My mom requested a certain lady and she was unavailable. They got a man named Irvin and it all went downhill from there. They said he was EXTREMELY impatient with them and kept rolling his eyes. Yvette is a gem - she was so patient and personable to me, I saw her interactions with a cranky man in line ahead of me and she won him over with genuine kindness and gentleness. I bought 3 new iPhone XR from Best Buy in June of 2019. I had two phones with $350 to trade in. I went to the 3 Verizon locations before finally getting one to help me print a label to mail in the phones for rebate. I sent in the phones and spoke to verizon rep In July stating they had my phones but I didn't get the credit for the phones:( I also never got the 200 credit for each line switched from T mobile and I switched 3 lines. Plus was to get additional 200 gift cards after making a few months payments. It is now almost a year since I made the purchase and no credit from anything! This was a scam. When I called a few months ago they said they do not know what happened to my phones that was sent to their-warehouse!!!!!! What kind of company is this I thought T mobile was bad but I've never been lied to and stolen from by T mobile this was the worst switch ever and wish I could just have my old phones back and go back to the more honest company . Walked through every step migrating to and starting up their new iPhones with Verizon. The local teams were very patient and engaged with my parents to ensure they understood every aspect of the process and were very comfortable before they left the Verizon store. Love the fact that upon arrival no one was wearing masks as they stand outside the store front waiting for customers to arrive and when I walked up and another elderly women one of the two ladies out front continued to speak without her mask on. I have Sprint Phone and I decided to get Verizon for my business cell as well as a personal hot spot. I asked the service rep who sold me the phone and hot spot if the speed would be just as fast as my sprint phone (which has a teather internet). He said it would be faster because Verizon has better service, and that is NOT the case. The service was acceptable but very very slow compared to my Sprint hot spot and of course regular internet. Cancelling my Hot spot and Phone was is a whole different story. It's impossible to find the phone number, then you have to do a phone scavenger hunt to actually get a person to talk with. All the other phone providers have no contract anymore... except Verizon. (Which they recently deceased with) I happened to have signed one. Luckily I only had a couple months left. So I paid the cancellation fee and the lady told me it would be cancelled. She lied because I got charged one more billing cycle because of a 30 day cancellation policy they have that she didn't tell me about when I paid the cancellation fee to cancel the service. read more

I've been a customer for over 5 years and feel Verizon has a long way to go when it comes to customer service. I hate to give anyone a bad review but after the problems I've had at that store and the amount of time I had to spend to correct them, I have to pass it along. Had a Blackberry that was replaced 4 times in 6 months. RIM told me the design was problematic and they were telling people to get a replacement with a newer model. Not naming names but I had one girl tell me my phone wasn't broken and to "come back when it's really broken" then another gave me completely incorrect information and that's just on 2 of 46 visits I made regarding that phone. I finally had to file a complaint with the FCC for fraud because I was paying for service on a phone that didn't work. It was then that I was contacted by a corporate rep. They have an entirely different attitude and capability working with people. In the store I have been treated so poorly that I refuse to step foot in there ever again. I have found the same problem at other stores. No one seems to know how to work with the public or how to actually resolve a problem for a customer. It's too bad these employees aren't properly trained or perhaps don't care and because of that I will not renew my Verizon contract when it's up. Even if they have the best network, it's not worth being treated like garbage when you're paying an arm and leg for service. read more

Walked in to get a new FREE tablet that was advertised on internet...got my bill of $187.55...normally my bill is $75.00..I called NICK the manager to have him explain..my bill shows a $49.00 charge...yes I bought accessories totaling $56.22 my bill should be $131.22....yes they CHARGED me for a free tablet!! What a rip off...BAIT and SWITCH!! These phone companies should be held responsible for all added fees. When I called Verizon direct I spoke to 3 supervisors for over an hour and they too could not figure it out and told me to call store... I love the coverage of VERIZON, but service is horrible....and cheat their customers. My plan is the same as a friend has and she pays $49.00 a month...why all the differences. STAY AWAY FROM HERE ..I went in to get service in Feb 2016 I was told I had the option to get an upgrade at 50% pay off balance, the sales rep lied. I have now been told that I cant until I pay off the phone in full. I have called over a dozen times and ZERO help. I hate the new concept of verizon wireless, it's a high pressure commission based environment. Once they have your money and you under contract they could care less about helping you with anything. I wish I could give zero stars. The customer service here is horrendous. I've been in this location on two separate occasions and had questions just tossed to the side. First I tried to see if there was anyway to get a replacement phone due to a shattered screen and was dismissed. On the second occasion I went in to ask about the new edge program and how I could sign up. The woman (blonde) just gave me some lame excuse about my renewal being too close not allowing eligibility. Two months I'd have to wait with a tough luck attitude she sent me on my way. Bullshit. Went home and signed up for the program and had a new phone sent to me within an hour. She was just lazy. I was willing to shell out cash on the spot in both situations. I will never return to this location and I urge you to find another. read more

Went in with my dad to switch over from T Mobile. The staff took the time to help get all of the phones ready, transfer contacts and add all the necessary protective accessories. With eight phones, this was no small task. We ended stay 45 minutes after closing time, but you would have never known it from the courtesy of the staff. Again transferring over eight phones takes quite a while, and they even gave us a discount for our patience along with a pretty substantial discount for the phones we were turning in. Juan was the manager that night and he was fun, extremely helpful and set the tone for the five staff members who ended up helping us. Horrible customer service. They seem to not understand the concept of a customer service desk for simple returns and exchanges and non-accounts related questions. All it takes is one customer service rep to be dedicated for minor small issues. The rest of the longer process questions can go through the normal process but find a way to get the quick ones out faster. This is just common sense waiting an hour in order to process a minute exchange was ridiculous. read more
