I had a simple question about my bill. I told the person at the counter. He took my information and went behind the closed doors. I assumed he was getting my account details so I waited. 25 minutes later no sign of him. I went back to the counter and was told I was 3rd on the list. No one had bothered to mention this before. Because I had to meet someone, I left. Later I went to another Verizon store and got my answer in two minutes. I upgraded my phone and purchased some accessories at the Desert Ridge location a few weeks ago. The representative that helped me did not give me a receipt, he told me I didn't need one. Today I went to return one of the accessories and was told they had a 14 day return policy. It certainly would have been nice to have known that before I purchased the items and left for a 2 week vacation! The representative was not willing to help me! It also ticked me off that I had to stand around and wait to do a return when they had representatives in the store not doing anything! You have lost my business! read more

Went there to upgrade my Note 4 for a Pixel XL. Demetrius took care of me and made the process such a smooth process. They didn't have any in stock, but he knew what I wanted and helped me make an order to have it delivered and explained what to do when I receive it. I'll defiantly go back to this store when it's time to upgrade any devices on our account. They made me feel welcome & appreciate me being a loyal Verizon customer. read more

STAY AWAY FROM HERE ..I went in to get service in Feb 2016 I was told I had the option to get an upgrade at 50% pay off balance, the sales rep lied. I have now been told that I cant until I pay off the phone in full. I have called over a dozen times and ZERO help. I stopped in on the 11th, the lady working went to "check me in" and I Was told I would wait over an hour and half. I asked her to please look at my bill. She wouldn't. A few days ago I was extremely bummed out to find my Blackberry Bold not accepting charge. I called into this Verizon store today asking a simple question of whether or not they do repairs for charging ports. Monty, who answered the phone, informed me they do not do phone repairs in the store and inquired more about my problem. He was able to look into my situation and discovered it was an issue still under warranty. I was just about to be in the midst of filing an insurance claim before I called, which would have costed me just a little over 100 dollars. The employees at the store lied to me, about me being required to purchase additional products related to the upgrade. when in fact no additional purchases were required to upgrade my phone. Went in to get the new iPhone. They tell us that they have a promotion on our account for $200 in trade in value for each of our phones. But we had a crack on one phone, and we needed to fix it first. So lucky we had insurance on it, so they sent us to a repear place to get it fix. The next day we come back with the fixed phone, and they tell us oh no you have a $130 credit on your phones not $200. Very long wait, they just stood in the back room whispering and not addressing any of the problems. Talked to the same guy Derek and doesn't even remember what he said and showed us yesterday. Denied it all. Kept changing the store, and said you now need unlimited to do so, oh then when done you need a phone that need to be an 8 or high, when yesterday he said our 7+ qualifies for the promo. Also a girl whisper to him in the corner saying I did this the other day for a 6 and it worked... He basically said go to AT&T they have a better promotion of $500 for a trade in value. Customer service sucks!!! Horrible staff is rude because they only want to make the next sale.

The employees at this store need some serious additional training. Long story short, they ended up erasing all of my photos off my phone. The store blamed Apple saying there was something wrong with the iCloud. I called Apple and they said it was user error on Verizon's part. Another employee even told me I was partially to blame for not backing things up properly. All I felt was like they were trying to shuffle me out the door. One employee was even smiling at me saying there was nothing to do so have a nice day as I'm standing there with tears in my eyes. No one ever even apologized not only for losing my pictures, but for the utter sadness I was feeling for losing those moments I had captured of my children. Serious lack of customer service and decency. We will not be returning to this store. read more

Well, I will just add to the rest of the poor reviews of customer service to this location. I came in today because like no one can hear me when I place a call or except the call, so I decided to go into my "friendly" customer service place a Verizon wireless. Only to come to find out that Greg and everyone else on Verizon has no clue how to do proper customer service or even relate to customers problems. I was there for maybe 32 seconds and was told already what the problem was with my phone without Greg even without even looking at it. Plus, I was told that I would need to wait several days without a phone for it to be sent to me through insurance purposes. I told Greg that that felt like something to do with the manufacture a problem or a customer service problem and not my problem is there's no damage to the phone. Greg and his most customer professional orientation that's a joke, was that I was it was my problem and I need to be without a phone for several days without reimbursement or compensation from Verizon for not being able to utilize my services that I pay for every month no wonder why people are leaving out of massive rate from Verizon to go to anywhere else so that they don't have to pay astronomical monthly fees have shitty customer service and can have phone service that actually works! read more

After waiting about an hr to get service finally got a phone but not the one I wanted cause the burnera (Verizon rep) said they weren't in stock the night I purchased the iPhone 6 (silver) I wanted the iPhone 6 black so I called the next morning to see if the iPhone 6 black was in stock Verizon rep told me there was several, so I asked him if a shipment came today, and Verizon rep replied no they don't have shipments on Sunday. So then I began to pursue the manager about being lied too and how my time was wasted. Verizon manager JOSH P. Had a poor attitude and didn't have any concern of me being a customer or not. Don't switch to Verizon!!!! This store has the worst service hands down I've ever received from a Verizon store, and I've been to many throughout the past 15 years. The fact that I have had to return to this store three times in three weeks to fix a small battery issue on my phone, and I have left each time with the phone in a worse condition than when I brought it there is unacceptable. Also, each time I have waited between 45-90 minutes just to be seen (although they get my name and know the problem I am back with). I now have a defective phone that doesn't work, and since it is only a few months old, the store finally ordered me a "new one" which came as a "refurbished like new" phone. When I took the phone back to the Verizon store to make sure that all my contacts would transfer, they messed up my cloud and I lost over 100 contacts in the transfer to the "new" phone. Upon arrival at home, to my horror, the battery died quicker than my old phone AND the two buttons (back and open apps) don't work, so it's not even usable. Fast forward to my next visit to Verizon (waiting over an hour this time to be seen) to transfer the information back to my old phone (all the contacts were showing up "unknown" so I could send the refurbished one back, they tried to clear the contacts and I ended up with none that worked. I went again the next day (they told me to go home and the "cloud" would update the phone), waited 90 minutes, and after 2 hours working on it, they were unable to update any contacts at all, so now I have two unusable phones. I've called Verizon three times to get an actual new phone sent, and they refuse to send me a new phone (only refurbished, even though my old phone which was new a few months ago doesn't work). Do yourself a favor it you're thinking about moving to Verizon...don't do it! And if you're already with Verizon and need help, do NOT go to this store...they will not help and will only make things worse. I can only hope that with all the cellphone companies to choose from, I've saved someone the frustration of going with them. read more

Seriously the most frustrating experience I've ever had with a Verizon. DO NOT GO HERE and DO NOT TRUST ERIC! He will smooth talk and spin his words in a way that makes you think you're getting one thing, but when your bill comes in it is entirely different. My family bought phones at this store and got an IPad as part of the deal. When we upgraded the iPad we were told that we would be charged $100 for the upgrade, but were instead charged full price for it and are now being told that there is nothing that can be done. We live in Chicago and were visiting family when the phones were bought so it's not possible to stop in the store. Seriously. Go anywhere else and do not listen to Eric. He just knows what to say and how to say it to get you to buy. read more

My phone wasn't working so I tried to use my cousins old phone. Since we didn't know how to properly switch over, that caused her new phone to stop working as well. We were both overwhelmed and ended up having to go to the store to see if we could get it fixed. Jamaal was taking care of us and made such a complicated situation seem simple. He fixed both of our phones (quickly, I would like to add) and was very pleasant to deal with. I really appreciate everything that he did for us! read more

I would give this store zero stars if I could. Horrible customer service. They kept directing me to a phone I didn't want. I walk out with android turbo...the thing breaks within weeks and I only get a lousy refurb phone. After 3 refurbs and numerous hours spent with this lousy store I switched to AT & T. After 6 years of loyalty they couldn't care less. No manager or anyone bothers to call and see what they could do to help. Take your business to the AT & T at Scottsdale and Bell roads. Found out elsewhere I could get the same service for less. Told me they were not allowed to transfer data according to Apple. Wrong, according to a retailer. Also told it would be three weeks because of Apple but that was wrong also was told to return to credit my charges on the card but the young lady manager refused. Hello, let me first say that I am not reviewing this store but the company's way of doing business in general, I was unable to find somewhere to do that so here goes. I had Verizon for about 8 years and had a very good experience with them, I decided to switch my service for some features that were offered by another carrier. The problem that I ran into is overdue bills, phone calls from Verizon and such since I have left them. I have an outstanding balance for the ETF's (which I am paying on every month) but Verizon makes it almost impossible to pay your bill or make payments after you cancel service with them, if they are having problems with people not paying bills, I can understand, I have made 3 payments on my ETF, I had to do it at the store since my account no longer exists, and I have to wait quite a while each time so that one of the representatives can talk their way through the phone thing with the payment department. It just seems that if a person is wanting to pay on their bill you should not have to work so hard to give them your money. read more

If you want to get ripped off go to this store. Each employee will give you a different option on how the plan is going to work and when you get the bill is a different story. We went in there couple days ago for an upgrade and the same thing happened, we got two different stories from 2 different employees, with an array of extra charges. I have had the worst experience of my life with this store and Verizon corporate office. Long story short ordered a phone on Thursday was told will have it on Saturday with 2 day shipping. Its Thursday and still do not have the phone and not sure when I will get it. But they sure got the money. Most of this is there corporate offices fault, but they could have offered me the same deal when I first visited the store but they chose not too so I ordered it from Verizon direct and error after error later by them and Fed-Ex and still don't have the phone I paid for. I wouldn't wish a Verizon store visit on anyone but the last two times we went it was worse than ever. The visit was to activate a new Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. The guy, who I won't name (this time) was a smug a-hole who was definitely annoyed that we were taking his time. He wouldn't explain anything he was doing, if we asked him a question he would be dismissive and give us a one or two word answer. We had to return to the store because the activation didn't work. He blamed us saying, you should have made a test call before you left. This place is the worst. If you have an iPhone on Verizon and you need in-person help, go to an Apple store and avoid Verizon stores at all costs. If you read Consumer Reports, Verizon is ranked third (out of about twenty) from the bottom in rankings. In my opinion, they used to be the best but now almost anyone beats them in customer satisfaction, so there are better choices for mobile carriers. read more

I wish I could give this store 0 stars! Went to get a new iPhone. Waited 50 minutes to have this extremely rude sales associate help me... I think her name is Cortney? A fake blonde with a tacky, hoop nose ring... Not only does she look unprofessional- she IS unprofessional. I get they are in a sales position- but why do I need to tell her "no" more than 3 different times, only to have her not listen, and bring things to the cash register that I did not want. She got extremely rude with me when I caught her trying to slip in some extra accessories package for $200 and said that I did not want it. Then tried selling me insurance, AppleCare, tempered glass, and the world's most hideous phone case. It was insulting. It got to the point where I might have bought extra stuff, but I really disliked her and her terrible customer service so much that I didn't want her to make any commissions on my transaction. It is absolutely ridiculous and disappointing that the level of service there does not match the price tag of what I'm paying. read more
