Customer service is terrible. After waiting over an hour which we were told for 45 minutes wait, we decided to make an appointment for next day. While making an appointment, we were told they open at 10 so we booked at 10am. Just showed up to find out they opened at 9 and no one is available for appointment customers. We waited again then talk to an agent who said everyone is busy. What? I asked all these customers had their appointments? He said no all walked in. No words. Very terrible service and system. Extremely incompetent rep wasted my time. I visited the store to do a trade in. I have had problems with trade ins in the past and wanted someone to tell me face to face that my trade was eligible or not eligible. I was told it was not however I could open a new line for $5/month and receive an upgrade on the line I originally wanted to do a trade on. Rep asked me to make an appointment for a couple days later to guarantee I would get the phone on release day instead of having it shipped so I obliged. Returned for second appointment and turns out the deal we had agreed to could not be done. Had the rep assessed my account and lines in the first place he would have known his plan would not work. Interesting how they can acknowledge everyone's review and then not take action? As I said costumer service at this location will have you questioning your sanity. The workers here are cryptic and short tempered. They always seem to dance around the issue at hand then get rude when you don't understand what they are saying. I have had many problems with Verizon both on CHAT and TELEPHONE calls. Today, I wanted to return two (2) Phones that I had been told at other stores wasn't a possibility. Combined spent 4 1/2 hours trying to get someone to solve my return issue. I visited the Desert Ridge Verizon, dealt with Martin and it was such a pleasure to find someone interested in my concerns on returning trade in phones - purchased online and not in this store. He not only completed the process quickly and efficiently but was a cordial individual to deal with. I spoke to the Manager of the Store as well and told him of my satisfaction with his employee and the store atmosphere itself. I had a great experience buying an iPhone 13 here last week. They explained how the payment plan worked, when the phone would be shipped to me, how to transfer the data to it, etc. The gentleman assisting me was very patient and answered all my questions without seeming annoyed or like he'd rather be doing something else. He certainly knew what he was doing. Just tonight, when I went to trade in my old phone, there was an incredibly rude woman who was screaming at the staff because they were running a bit late and her appointment hadn't begun yet. The staff members involved sincerely apologized, owned up to whatever mistake had occurred, and yet this woman continued yelling. The manager who was working tonight (I think her name started with a J? Jillian, maybe? Jeanine?) handled the situation beautifully and stood up for herself and her staff. I sincerely applaud her for sticking up for her staff and not allowing that tirade of abuse to continue. All of the staff I spoke with tonight & who helped me return my old phone were amiable, bright-eyed, and genuinely kind. This is the only Verizon store I will be coming to. I'm a long-term customer of Verizon Wireless. I have several wireless lines and needed to cancel one of the lines for an old device I don't use anymore. Of course their web page wouldn't allow me to cancel online, as that would be too customer centric. They gave me the following number (800) 392-0717. I've been on hold for 55 minutes. It's obvious that they want you to give up and keep your line because the friction cost is too great to cancel. I'M GOING TO CONTACT THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND FILE A COMPLAINT. THIS IS THE BEST CELL STORE EVER!!! Everyone was super friendly and polite and helpful! My boyfriend and I were in yesterday, and Don went OUT OF HIS WAY to help us! He spent 2 hours with us, explaining options and answering questions--and he knew the answers from memory, which tells me he really knows his stuff. He was polite, patient, gave us a fantastic deal, and made a bomb recommendation for lemonade from the restaurant next door. REVIEW is only for Manager Colton at Desert Ridge Verizion get no stars - I am actully giving them a Law Suit! I hate Verizion more than I can say but Colton the store Manager at Desert Ridge is amazing. I purchased a NEW Samsung Z Fold - Phone is 2 months old (Perfect condition). Phone Died would not turn on no matter what. Customer Care was a joke. (Keep in mind phone is still covered under Mfg Warranty plus I pay for a Warranty) I Called Customer Care 12 days in a row - 696 Chats and a Grand total of 12 hours talking time trying to get help (I had no phone what so ever). Customer Care would not send me a phone - after 6 days said they would send a phone but would only send refurbished phone. Told me I need to call Samsung becuase their phone - Verizion is not responsible for the phones. Manager advised me Verizion no longer replaces Samsun phones. It's impossible for me to take time off work - go to local Verizion store but I did. I walked into the store / blood pressure off the roof / he went out of his way to help me - gave me a temporary phone to use - let me add he made sure he gave me a charger. Colton not only gave me a phone making sure I had some kind of communitcation - he was so kind and made sure I had a replacement phone withing a day. Colton you rock !! read more

This is a class act location. I was helped yesterday by Ericka with upgrading my phone. I knew exactly what I wanted and told her about an online deal I saw through the app. Despite it being an online only deal, she helped me process it in the store. She was very friendly and did not try to pressure me into any accessories I didn't need. To top it off, the location was hardly business. Unlike most Verizon stores, I was helped immediately. I ended up coming back the next day to trade in my old phone. I first stopped at a location close to where I was at the time and received horrible service. I was basically told to return to the original store I started the deal at since they couldn't do anything for me at their location. I made the drive (despite having to pass my house) to this store to trade in my old phone. Because the deal was online, I was not given the proper trade in amount as quoted by the fine print. The gentleman I worked with today was nice enough to notate this in my account. He made sure I would receive the promised credit to my account. No matter the rep you work with at this location, they care about your satisfaction. This will definitely be my go to store from now on! read more

My wife and I went into the Verizon store a week ago and discussed the promo which provided a switch over to Verizon of $200 per line. We were switching 4 lines over which would have given our account an $800 gift card. We asked the sales clerk if we could convert the account the net monring and if the promo would still be available. If not, we would have had our daughters come to the store and changed that night. He statues that it would be no problem and the promo would still be valid the next day. We went to the store the next morning and potted all of our phones numbers over, purchased 4 new phones, and we just needed to sign the receipt when the sales person came out and let us know the promo had ended that day and that there was no promo. i have only been able to get potential $200 but they will not honor the promo that was offered the night before and was told that would be valid the next day. Now they claim that they are never given end datea. It would have been nice to have them tell me when we when in that morning that the promo had ended before I went through the entire process. I am sad to report that I have been into the store on two separate occasions in the past six months. On both occasions there were one or two people just standing around talking to each other obviously not working on a computer or with no other customers. I stood there for a little while and finally somebody said, "can we help you," after they finished with their conversation. I am absolutely technologically challenged.I was given the briefest answer possible and sent on my way. When I arrived at the location that I needed to provide the information from Verizon I was told I did not have all the correct information. Since I don't have an online Verizon account, they said I would have to drive back to Verizon which I did. Once again, I said what I needed and the individual then gave me a couple of numbers and sent me on my way. This I think will work. However, I'm just very disappointed in the customer service with that store. It seems like most service industries are getting that way, so I guess it's just the way of the world. read more

Pretty poor experience at this Verizon store today. Went in with my Mom to upgrade our phones. We did not want to start using the new phones for a few days though so I could help my Mom through the setup process. The Verizon employee who seemed uninterested in helping us in the first place assured us our old phones would continue to work until we started setup on the new ones. After we purchased the phones and left the store we should have known better and checked our old phones. After parting ways we discovered our old phones no longer worked at all; unless on WiFi. This led to a nightmare of trying to contact eachother and Verizon as only one of us the account manager. Even when on WiFi we were unable to contact Verizon and had to chat with their customer service online. They were unable to resolve the issue. We had to go back to the store to get a fix. The uninspired employee was almost certainly at fault by activating our new phones while they were still in the box. Wish I got his name but I wouldn't be in a rush to hire him at my store. read more

Let me preface this by saving that I was the ONLY customer in the store. There were at least 4 employees from what I could see. I feel like I was a super easy customer because I didn't ask many questions about potential phone options. I picked one out and had them ring me up. I even gave into the sales pitch package of a phone case, protective sheets and a charging cord. I ended with upgrading my iPhone 7 to an iPhone XS. I decided not to trade in my old phone because it's not worth what you get. The guy sold me the phone and told me that since my phone back ups to iCloud, it'll all prompt me and everything will load itself once I got home. I got home and went through the prompts, which were all super easy to follow. I packaged up my old phone and packed it away. From what I could tell, my phone was working fine. Fast-forward to 2 hours later when I left the house and my phone wouldn't function at all without WiFi. Mind you, I was babysitting another couple's children and had NO way of calling or contacting them. The only things functioning were online (social media) and IMessage. That's when I figured out that Verizon had screwed up. I tried the texting customer service option and it was awful. They kept telling me I needed my old phone, which clearly was at home and packaged up. They had no quick fix for me except calling customer service, which had already closed. Luckily for me, I have a friend who is tech savvy with iPhones specifically. She asked me if the guy gave me a SIM card and I said no? She walked me through how to take out the SIM cards from both phones and swap them. 6 hours later and with no credit to Verizon, I have a functioning phone. Shame on your store for not taking more time to educate your customers-or god forbid taking the time to do the set up for them. My thought is that the employee thought that I was tech savvy enough to know what to do since I am younger. And because of this assumption, I was left in a very difficult situation with ultimately no resolution from Verizon customer service. When there are NO customers in the store waiting for help, it's the least you could have done. I will not return to this store and I urge you to avoid it too. There are far too many competitors out there to waste your money and patience on this location. read more

When we called verizon on the phone they were equally as surprised as we were as this is not the case. I don't mind having to set an appt, just need to be informed when that is the new rules. Don't expect customer service except in the store - but dont expect service for a few days because you have to make an appointment which the website does not indicate. I waited on line for 50 minutes in each of three days and got no assistance with my data plan or phone issue. Then I tried the digital assistant which could not answer my questions and kept trying to sell me things. Finally I drove to the store where a very nice man told me that I had to have an appointment which I couldn't get for three more days. He was apologetic that the website didn't indicate I needed an appointment or I would have scheduled one before driving there. He couldn't even replace my broken phone until the appointment. I've never been treated so poorly in my entire life by any store no matter what they were selling. Nor have I ever been lied to so much and had people so unwilling to help me. I spoke with Verizon's corp center in which a supervisor had given me the address for this location and told me I was within my 14 days to return everything and cancel my contract. I was told by 2 people at Verizon I was able to cancel my contract and i just needed to drive down and have them take it for me. However when I got down there the company lied to me and told me that these two people put in the notes that they specifically told me i COULDN'T return the phone. Weird because when i called Verizon's corp center after leaving the store, they told me the notes actually indicated i was within my 14 days and i could return the phone. They also informed me it reads specifically on Verizon's website in their customer agreement that i could cancel and return everything 14 days from ACTIVATION for full refund. However when i took my evidence down to the store they STILL refused to take it back. So I told them to simply cancel the service, I'll sell the phone on ebay. Well AJ is her name, and she "cancelled" my service alright. I made her give me a receipt and had a witness drive down. AJ didn't really cancel anything, she put a FUTURE cancel date that way it would be outside of my 14 day window and I'd be forced to pay the term fees!!! Not only that but the moment she approached me she started talking nasty to me about kicking me out of the store if I speak to her the way i spoke with someone on my PERSONAL phone conversation. It's none of her business what i say to someone on a personal call, i could have found out my husband was cheating for all she knew. And i was nothing but kind to the first two reps so i'm not sure why she had an attitude and assumed things about me. The so called manager mr McDonald was also RUDE towards me and still refused to let me return the phone even though company rules said i could. I hope Verizon realizes the sort of people that are running their stores. I have to admit, there were 2 kind employees there out of the 5 I talked with. They seemed to think what was happening with me wasn't fair and they tried to secretly help me, but it's weird they were trying to do it behind their boss' back, like helping customers were against company policy. Some store manager that would fear his employees into treating customers like crap. I would say NEVER go to this store location and never go to Verizon period. Find any company on the planet but they don't deserve your money. And if you must go to Verizon, take your dollars and the commission to another store location, but this one does NOT deserve anything from anyone. If anything they deserve an under cover agent from Verizon investigating the way they treat people. I purchased 3 new phones via my business account and not through this Verizon store. The business account representative basically abandoned me with regards to set up and phone switches. I was very unimpressed. So we went looking for help. We were saved by a wonderful employee named Aaron who took great care of us and help us through the set up and transition of our old phones onto new ones. He even set us up with screen protectors and needed accessories. I took a few hours, but he was a champ and today, he was our phone hero! Aaron deserves to be recognized for the kind of great customer care we used to have in this country. 5 Stars for a great employee who went way above and beyond to take good care of us and ensure that our transition to new equipment went smoothly. The first guy says he is sales person and cannot support his device. the second guy says call *611. the two begin playing games on their phones. my husband calls 611 and they tell him that there someone in the store who can help! he takes his phone to the two guys who say it could any of 12 different things causing it and that's all he got.
