Personally I love Verizon but this store is horrible and a bad representation of Verizon. The sales rep charged me for items we did not discuss and stated "I had to buy a charger and phone case in order to purchase a phone. On 12/23/2024. My mom and I went in the 4255 Century Blvd Pittsburg Verizon retailer store. We were thinking about leaving AT&T and switch both our phone numbers to Verizon. "Daniel U" the sales representative (tall black dude) first tried to sell us the most expensive plan, after we told him we do NOT need the most expensive plan, we only need the basic $35/month plan for 2 lines ($70 total), then he said if so your internet box will be $55 (should also be $35 a month). Then he tried to sell us 2 iPhone 15s for "Free" under 3 years contract. We really believed him it is totally free. Then he ringed us up for the state tax of "$235", we immediately know something is wrong because the state tax of Pittsburg is 9.25%. The "$235" number came from the iPhone 16 pro max tax. So he tried to rip us off. The 2 iPhone 15 state tax should only be about "$130" ish. Then we asked for a receipt before paying or any paper showing what the tax came from. He refused to show us and said there is nothing he can do. Then he grabbed those 2 new iPhone 15s and went back to the employees room in the back. After we waited for 5 more mins, he didn't come out, nor did he say anything. We just left the store. Then we noticed our phone numbers on our AT&T phones have already been ported to Verizon. Onto those 2 phones. So we had no signal. We came back to the store and they told us it has been canceled (which is a lie), that we have to go to Brentwood corporate store to get transfer pin so we can transfer our numbers back to AT&T. Long story short, we did that and spent hours and hours on the phone with support and finally got back to AT&T. Then we have to wait 5 days without a service. Then on 12/30 I went back to the Pittsburg Victra store because I received a bill(which I did NOT sign anything for, Daniel U just FORCED the bill to my name). I got charged for 2 iPhone 15s (which I never got, they were STILL at your Victra store), got charged for the internet box (which I never got, it was STILL at your store). So I explained everything to the other sales representative "Zachariah", he wasn't happy helping me either because it took a long time and we spent hours and hours on the line with another Verizon support name "Marcus", Marcus was being really helpful, but the store closed at 7:00pm so we ran out of time that day. On 12/31 I came back to Victra again. This time "Matt" tall younger black guy with curly hair helped us calling Verizon support, transferred to activation team support, had a three way phone call conversation, finally the activation support said the "device payment service agreement" have been canceled for both phones. Also the internet box has been canceled and Matt gave me the internet box (the one I never got, was still sitting at your store), telling me I have to drop it off at UPS to return it. Or there is a $200 charge. I wasted more than 16 hours total dealing with this situation and would like to get an apology and some compensation for my wasted time. I got charged bill for NOT signing up anything, NEVER put any signatures. "Daniel U" just forced the bill to us. I saved all the record and in the future if I decide to sue Verizon for this fraud scam. I will. I have all the paperwork, recorded conversations between me and all sales representative for future legal matters. I mean I could basically just ignore the bills at all and not worry about it (because i never signed up for anything, never put down my signature. I am not obligated to pay anything, all the items i got charged for are still at their store), but I figure instead of just ignoring it, it's better for me to just explain to them what really happened and just doing the right thing to resolve this. I spoke to a few sales reps at this store. They all told me "Daniel U" has been here for quite a long time. So this isn't a mistake. He purposely left the "device payment agreement" on my name even though I didn't sign anything. As for "Daniel U", remember this, bad karma will get you. Mark my words. You will see it. Just be a better person. Don't try to rip off people just so you can make those extra bucks of commission from your company. It is really sad as a human being. read more

Sales agents (Chris) straight up lied about prices to up sell me. Said there's an elderly discount I can take advantage of if I put the account under my mom. Called in, does not exist in CA. When I asked Chris about it the next day, he turned to his coworker "don't we do that promo all the time". That same coworker I asked for help earlier who said it was his first day. Said he'd put me through to his manager, did not. Asked if there was a support number, he said there wasn't (it's on the sales papers) Called in to both Verizon and Victra but was told it's a "he said she said" issue and they will do nothing and refund nothing. Most of the fees were actually from Victra not Verizon so authorized resellers like Victra charge more than the Verizon store. Literally the worst experience I ever had with sales. They have the worst employees working there. People work there have no heart. They are just so greedy to get their commission by pushing you and selling you extra hidden garbage plans so they can overcharge you. That African American dude name Daniel is really rude and pushy. He tried to sell us the most expensive plan after we told him we only need the 35 dollars per months plan then he said you need to pay 55 a month instead of 45 a month for their internet box. Also he says you need to buy the phone cases and charger box to protect your phones. I said I don't need them. He still trying to push hard to sell those trash. I mean I understand you are working at a $18 dollars an hour day job so you are trying to push people to sign bullcrap contracts so you can steal their money for your company and get some sort of commission yourself, but Daniel, maybe it is time to get a better job? Lord where do I start. First of all, contacting and connecting with an actual live person over the phone at Verizon was a major headache. When I finally was able to speak to someone about my unique situation, they said that I needed to go to a Verizon store in person to fix the issue. They then proceeded to give me an appointment for the Pittsburg store. When I went the next day, I arrived at my scheduled time. An employee let me into the store (cause for some reason, they keep their doors locked during business hours) and I walked and waited until someone asked me why I was there. Finally after 10 mins, an employee asked me the reason why I was there. I told them that I had a 9am appointment and as I was about to explain why I was there, the employee the interrupts me and tells me that they don't do appointments, that I will have to wait it until they are ready. I told the employee that I didn't care about the wait as long as they knew why I was there and who I was. The employee proceeds to go back to helping a client. There was 1 other employee but they were also busy helping another customer. Skip to 45 mins later, the 2 employees are still with the same 2 customers. After an hour wait, I decided to leave. First time to this location and totally regret it! Our salesperson MADENA has made this experience an absolute worst, terrible, and unpleasant experience for us. We haven't upgraded in years and wow when we finally decided, THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER from Verizon. She is very unprofessional, disrespectful, and so in a hurry. In November 2019, I was told that if I traded in my old iPhone, that I'd get a $400 credit on the iPhone 11 Or Max. I accepted the deal, only to realize a month ago, that Verizon is still charging me for the phone...FULL PRICE for the phone. Verizon has no record of my traded in phone. This Victra store never sent Verizon the phone. Verizon also told me TODAY, that there was NEVER a $400 promotion for the 11 Pro Max in November 2019. The salesman clearly lied to me, and this company CLEARLY stole my trades in phone. This is pathetic! The manager at this store was supposed to call me back, a month ago...Of course, he never called me. I'm guessing he doesn't wanna face the music, for stealing from me. I came by after work to pick up a SIM card & I was immediately greeted by name, I felt so welcomed. Also the other sales rep that was there was so helpful too & super polite! This store has my stolen iPAD. I talked with Matt who said he'd keep it for me if I came into the store. I can't because I live in Seattle area. I was traveling when it was stolen 10/22 from Richmond Ranch 99 parking lot because thieves were able to hack my rental car lock that did not have RFID shield. I reported it to Richmond Police but they don't do anything about these small crimes. So I tracked my iPAD from the Tenderloin District where it stayed for a long time. Then it shows up at this Verizon store. Matt says that the store has protocols to prevent them from selling stolen property but clearly that isn't working. Also, someone recently tried to unlock my iPAD. Seems fishy. Glad Matt is willing to give it back to me if I fly 600 miles to Pittsburg CA. read more

Went to store to replace my wife's and my old phones with new. Chris helped us with choosing which phones were right for each of us. Once decided, he expertly installed the new screen protectors, helped us choose the perfect phone case for each phone and installed them, set our phones up by transferring all the data from the old phones to the new, explained the new features to us and showed us how to use them. Phone stores are not my favorite place to go - kind of like used car lots, but a little bit better. I had to visit the store because I had fallen into the pool with my non-waterproof Pixel phone. Chris Hilliard helped me. He was great. He had only been there a week and the managers (or someone) left him there to handle the store by himself. Personally, I thought that was a dumb move. But Chris was a champ, answered all of my questions, and helped me get a new phone (not a Pixel). I am happy with my phone and happy with the Chris Hilliard's service. Let me start by saying wow huge difference just walking in the door! I use to come to this location few months back and the staff was just horrible always in a bad mood and rude but I needed to pay my bill after running errands at target and walked in and the store manager greeted me in a very welcoming manner & as I was paying my phone bill he helped me upgrade my phone and add a new line for my daughter. Very helpful very thorough with any changes we needed to do. I encourage anyone who use to come here and haven't because of horrible past experience give them another chance. The worst place to get a phone they will FOOL you and LIE to you!! First of all let me tell about my experience here when I walked in the door to try to get a new service plan the DM Mustafa Moalikyar, Christopher H, Joseph S. Was in the store that time the phones that I preordered which let me tell you how they order them they use other peoples account to order them so BE AWARE! I asked the DM mustafa hows the service he said he GUARANTEED me that they have the best service everywhere which I mention to him I'm going camping this weekend in Tahoe and he said I GUARANTEE YOU WILL HAVE RECEPTION THERE IF NOT COME TALK TO ME and that's before I agree to getting their service. Got the phones which I had to set up myself all they did was put in the SIM card and I had to ask if they can give me something free since the other customer was getting a FREE case, screen protector from Joe! Chris said he will call his manager and he gave me 1 screen protector free but I don't understand why I was charge a set up fee of $20 for the 3 lines I open if I was the one who set it up myself all Chris did was apply the SIM card and 1 screen protector and the other phone was my old phone. Then I call customer care 3 times cause 1st I was in Tahoe and I wasn't getting any text messages which they didn't tell me that when I transferred to there service that I was suppose to turn off something in order to get messages and then called again the HOTSPOT wasn't working. Then finally came home and come to find out there's no signal in my own home called customer care again explained to them that the DM guaranteed I would have good signal everywhere they ran a zip code check and there's low signal in my area and the DM shouldn't be telling customers that he could of simply did a zip code check which only takes 5 mins. If that was the case I would of NEVER wasted my time. He said that I can simply return everything with no restocking fees or any charges at all I said ok. I go to their store the next day Chris h. And Joseph S. Was there and I said I was GUARANTEED by your DM good service which I didn't get and try to explain that I talk to the customer care and he said it should be a easy transition back and I wouldn't need to pay any type of fees come to find out I lost $150 because of Joe said there is $35 restocking fee and $20 setup for each phone which 1 of the phones is my own phone I just needed the SIM card so I don't understand the setup charge. The store was busy, but I was told it would only be a short wait, and though it did take a few minutes, the gentlemen working were sure to stay in contact with me.
