JAY the sales member was helping us upgrade my sister's phone. SEVERAL times I caught him in lies about what he was adding to the bill (oh you didn't want that protection, Oh we don't do trade ins). I go over every detail. At one point he was annoyed at me (mind you the entire appointment lasted 30 min for a new phone) and was huffing and puffing. I made him print out a document stating what I agreed to and he did. Lo AND BEHOLD- AFTER I signed he added a monthly cloud to my sister's phone for an additional $10. JAY is liar but honestly Verizon encourages this type of deceit. I cannot WAIT to see what TMobile deal I'm going to get. HATE YOU VERIZON. This store is always the worst possible experience imaginable. Nothing makes me want to switch carriers more than after having to deal with anyone at this location. Have had terrible experiences here before, but had to go in tonight to ask a question about an upgrade for my daughter. The "greeter" never said a word to us, had to go ask him if we could talk to someone about a question. He grumbles something like a bridge troll would sound, then asks for my ID. I ask why he needs my ID for me to ask a couple of upgrade questions to someone. He grumbles more stuff like a bridge troll again. Very unfriendly. I give him my ID. He gurgles to me that it's a month expired and they can't use it. Umm what, to ask a phone upgrade question, he cares if my license expired 4 weeks ago? Then, dirty bridge troll says nothing and proceeds to walk away with my license in hand, seemingly into some kind of back room area. WTF?!! He comes back a couple min later and grumbles that they can't use it. So, we then go to the store a few miles away in McMurray and they help us, no issues. Avoid this place like the plague. These people are horrible to deal with and should not have people-facing positions of any capacity. Whoever manages this store must have zero care or concern with any kind of customer service, as the employees here DGAF about providing any kind of quality (or even basic) level of service. I don't know where to start to describe the rudeness I encountered on a recent visit to this store, not only by the representative I was working with, but by her manager as well. I needed a new phone for one of the lines on our account. My situation was complicated for them to solve due to an "internal system procedure". They needed to do a "work around" because of this, and what they offered would have required me to add a new line (which I don't need or want). AND ... it will cost me $20 a month extra going forward! I asked them why would I have to do this because of their "internal issue", and they said that's all they could do for me. BUT ....I could call their 1-800 number and talk to someone there to see what they could do to help me! BUT... they're not sure how long it would take or who I would get on the line when I did get through??! WHAT?? I'm at the Verizon store (company owned store, by the way)... to ask for help. Why would I have to call an 800# on my own to get help with THEIR internal issue that I didn't even understand?! I asked them if THEY could please call the 800#. I got EYE ROLLS.... They grudgingly did so, and the 800# rep put in a request to have this issue fixed. Fine... they hang up the phone. THEN the store reps turn to me and tell me this fix won't go through until Jan 10th! OR.... I could check again in a few days and maybe it will be fixed by then (WHAT? So which is it?). THEN they reminded me the deal I was trying to take advantage of "might not be available" by the time the fix goes through, so the only way I can get this deal today is to purchase the phone now and pay $20 extra a month for the new line for the entire length of the phone contract!! All while this is going on, they are working with other people, talking over me, waiting for me to decide what I'm going to do, looking like they can't be bothered with me any more. They were so incredibly rude I was fighting back tears, trying to stay composed. I finally stood up, and quietly said to them, "I'm just getting this vibe you really don't care... ". The manager just blankly looked at me and says something to the effect of, "Well I'm sorry you feel that way". No apology, no empathy, nothing. I'm 70 years old... I don't need this. I drove two miles down the road to another Verizon owned store and worked with the nicest person ever. I explained I was there for help because of how rudely I was treated at the other store. He indicated he had other customers tell him same thing. He reviewed my account and went over it with his manager who seemed familiar with this issue.... He confirmed that yes, I would have to wait for this fix to go through before I could move forward with my purchase. He gave me his card with cell number to call in the meantime if I had any questions, a number I can call if I want to follow up on the status of the fix, and we are meeting next week to get everything straightened out. So I will give the two initial reps kudos for telling me the truth about Verizon's "internal issue" .... But I cannot tolerate the way they handled themselves and treated me throughout this whole process. And that's why I wrote this review. I will never shop there again. And I couldn't help but notice the majority of the reviewers on YELP feel the same way. UPDATE: I see that Verizon read my review today. It's pretty much the same response they give most reviewers who have had a bad experience... pretty generic with no indication anything will be done to address the specific issue. Reviews averaging less than 3 stars after all these years proves that. I appreciate the apology but I will not set myself up to be treated like that again. It was absolutely that bad. read more

Wow, seems to be a terrible queue system for helping customers. I wanted to buy a charger, knew exactly which one, and had to wait behind everyone with problems and buying new phones. Over 15 minutes I waited before I abandoned my purchase. I'll just order online. There weren't many customers, just problems that take a while. read more

Internet went out Wednesday. Could not come out till Friday to fix. Came on Friday did half if the job. Then sat at end of drive way till dark with the beeper going for 3 hrs. Just sitting there. The installer Keith Frank's said they were working all labor day weekend. He would be back first thing Saturday morning. At 2 in the afternoon we call Verizon to see where the guy is. They informed me that they couldn't come back to fix it till Tuesday now. Keith even left his personal phone number witch he won't answer. Asked to talk to the manager. They said that they were busy with another call and would call back within the hour. That was yesterday. I pay 400 dollars a month to this place and they don't have enough respect to tell me the truth. I am looking at other service providers. read more

I would be giving this place 1 star if it wasn't for the super nice salesperson named Brooke. We visited this Verizon to upgrade two phones. We spoke with a salesman "Dylan" who helped us do that. He said that we can have a deal that allows Verizon to help upgrade the two phones by giving a small down payment and paying 5 dollars a month for 3 years. The deal was great a month later the first bill comes out seems good, until the next bill comes out the next month and we find out that Verizon is not giving the promotion that we excepted for us to pay for the phones. We are now paying full price. We visited the store the next day after the billing and find out that the Dylan had not actually given us this promotion and we can't talk to him anymore he is in Texas and won't be back. Finally we get Brooke who helps us figure out what is wrong. We called customer support who just sent us up and down and left and right to other people. Brooke then called and got the entire thing sorted out. We now get the promotion within 1 to 2 billing dates. Thank you to Brooke for helping. Dylan I don't know what to say. The reviews are accurate. Just don't go to this location for business unless you know Brooke is going to help you. read more

Waited over 45 mins, 2 people ahead of me and I'm finally getting helped... Wtf??? I can understand them being busy but that was ridiculous. I work out in Robinson and went to the Settlers Ridge location and BOY- WHAT A DIFFERENCE. They were awesome. In & out the door in 20 minutes- I ended up with a new 6s and my wife ordered a 6sPlus... THANK YOU ROB! i truly appreciated all the help i received from this agent today who was able to removed the extra charges on my bill that the Pasadena Verizon Store on Lake was charging me on my bill for upgrading my phone. When i went in i was having problems with my Blacberry and had to switch to the Iphone last week. Rob from the Pennsylvania store who i was connected today was able to look at my bill and all the notes and correct the problem immediately. Great Customer Service! He even set up a FOLLOW UP Phone Call with me On July 5th to make sure the credit goes through on my bill...I can't thank him enough!!!! read more

My fiancé upgraded his phone at the Apple store, but got a strange text on his new phone about his plan. We went over to the Verizon store to see what was up, and that was about as pleasant as having forks jammed in my eyes. Awful customer service. No one came up to ask us if we needed help. We had to tear a disgruntled man away from looking at his instagram feed to help us. He didn't say there would be a wait or to sit or anything, just said "okay then" and left us. So we stood there waiting for help or even just directions for far too long, were ignored and told him we were leaving. Awful awful awful customer service. read more

I visited this location on March 25 to upgrade my phone. The wait, service and even help were fine but the apparent lack of knowledge of the customer service rep was too hard to ignore after the fact. I, unfortunately, do not remember the man's name, but he assured me that his manager could perfectly put on my screen protector for my new phone because he was "the best." I know I should have checked the screen protector before leaving but I was so tired and just wanted to go home after a long workout. Upon returning home, I realized the guy who put on my screen protector LEFT A FUCKING FINGER PRINT ON IT in the lower left-hand corner. How was this missed?! The guy also told me that they do NOT make glass tempered screen protectors for my phone and therefore I had to purchase this particular one. Her lied because I have found them online. Maybe they aren't as good or don't fit as well but he shouldn't have lied to me. After all of this, I order a great case that I love from Amazon, put it on, and days later find that by putting a regular case on, makes this screen protector PEEL OFF AT THE CORNERS.
