If I could give this location and company zero stars I would. My uncle has end stage kidney disease and memory loss. He was visiting my husband and I in early September to be put on a kidney transplant list. We live across the country from him.  We found out during our visit he had purchased a cell phone from this location about thirty minutes from his hometown of Idaho.  He went into a third party branch and ended up getting roped into the latest phone way beyond his budget. His cognitive functioning has greatly diminished. When my husband and I learned of this we immediately attempted to return his phone going to numerous stores locally to which we were told only a corporate store could return it (here in Buffalo). Once at a corporate store they said no he had to go to the original store.  Frustrated we explained he would have to return it once back home in Idaho. We by this point had been on the phone with Verizon support for hours. We put him on our account with T-Mobile which for anyone frustrated I'm telling you they have fantastic customer support, military appreciation and keep their word. We were then promised a return envelope would be mailed to him and it never arrived. Another lie. They then said they would email us a return label never received it another week wasted and lie.Once he was back in Idaho he went to the store only to be told they cannot do it and to drive an hour and a half to the nearest corporate store in Utah. Are you kidding me!?! So he made the trip and was told again no but the manager felt sorry for him and helped him get things packaged and a tracking number. We were assured everything would process with a refund once they received his phone back. We waited watching the tracking number. Called multiple times the phone sat in the Verizon warehouse for who knows how long not being scanned. We were promised an additional $100 for his inconvenience in addition to the removal of all initial fees as we returned everythingin the inital returnperiod. Then we were promised an additional $200 as we now have been on the phone over ten hours being routed to various Verizon customer supports wasting our time. We have been waiting over a month now and still nothing. This company is absolute garbage. We were promised call backs to check on the status six times never had a single one. Then asked to speak to a supervisor every call only to speak to one once who started the conversation by saying there is nothing I can do for you and everything my agents have told you I will not honor regarding reimbursement for travel, time or hardship. We owe you nothing as a company despite taking twelve hours of your time to disconnect a phone line. My uncle is now living with us in Buffalo awaiting his transplant we were routed to the original store only to be placed on hold for the next two hours and thirty-eight minutes (still waiting) We can hear people chatting and carrying on as if they just placed the phone on the counter. What kind of service is this? Absolutely dishonest and shameful. It takes a sick company getting joy out of robbing the more vulnerable in our society. DO NOT BUY from this location or any other Verizon store. read more

I had an amazing experience at your store here in Preston, Idaho this week, one of the worst weeks of my life, since my phone broke on Saturday & new one finally arrived late last night, Thursday, instead of Tuesday. Brennan Wood, the Manager & only worker here at your store has been so kind, considerate, knowledgeable to an elderly 72 year old woman who has come each day to his store saying, I paid my $199.00 for my co pay, for my insured phone that was to come over night and didn't. Then he was off for a day and Andrew Hatch took over and took the time to track the phone, found the reasons it didn't come yet and assured me it would come on Thursday by 5 pm, but came at 5:45 pm, but it is here now. Both men, Brennan Wood & Andrew Hatch, are both a dying breed, as those two men are not only knowledgeable about their product, our phones, but they actually care about their customers. THAT IS SO VERY RARE! I was so hesitant to come back after RENE HATCH no longer worked here as she had helped me for so many months, and like BRENNAN WOOD & ANDREW HATCH was so very KNOWLEDGABLE & CARED about her customers. After that it was a nightmare here, an absolute nightmare, so I want to tell you how excited & thrilled I was to walk in, crying hysterically, as ALL MY PHONE NUMBERS WERE IN MY PHONE. BRENNEN, when he could understand me, assured me, probably to get me to stop crying, that he would put all my information in my new phone when it arrived and he did, after Andrew Hatch, with me crying hysterically again, tracked it down, as far as giving me his own personal phone number to call if it didn't arrive yesterday. YOUR COMPANY SHOULD BE SO PROUD TO HAVE THESE TWO MEN WORKING FOR YOU, AND IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD DO WHATEVER INSENTIVE IT TOOK TO MAKE SURE THEY NEVER LEAVE YOUR EMPLOY! YOU SHOULD JUST SIT HERE ON MY STOOL TO SEE HOW THEY MULTI TASK, ARE SO POLITE TO ALL OF THE CUSTOMERS, AND MOST ARRIVE ANGRY OR OVERWHELMED & HYSTERICALLY CRYING LIKE ME, BUT WE ALL LEAVE WITH A BIG SMILE, JUST HAVING BEEN TREATED LIKE WE ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT CUSTOMER THEY HAVE EVER HELPED PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO RECOGNIZE THESE TWO EXTRAORDINARY EMPLOYEES, ONE FROM THE PRESTON, IDAHO STORE, BRENNAN WOOD AND ANDREW HATCH, HIS ONE DAY A WEEK REPLACEMENT. I went to this store thinking it was a corporate Verizon store. I was confused by the manners and customer service I received because my experience at Verizon stores has always been top notch. The guy upgraded my phone without asking me which model iPhone I needed, and really before I knew what was happening. I thought he was still helping the customer sitting in front of him. When I got to my truck I realized he had set me up with a 64 gig phone. I use my phone constantly for work, and the amount of data on my old phone wouldn't even fit on this one. He didn't know how to resolve the problem because all they carry is 64 gig iPhones. He supposedly called the corporate store in Logan Utah, and confirmed they had a 128 gig phone and that they would be happy to swap me out. I later found out this was a lie, because the corporate store claimed there is no such thing as a 128 gig iPhone 11 Pro, and all calls to the store go directly to Verizon headquarters, not the store. When I got to Logan 35 minutes later, I was told that they cannot swap my phone out. I told the manager in Logan what I'd been told, and he flat out told me I'd been lied to. Back to Preston I go. The guy stuck to his lie, even though his co-worker repeatedly called the corp store with no answer. It took forever to get my phone returned, waiting in a store without working air conditioning, but they finally got it done just in time for me to drive all the way back to Logan before they closed. The corporate store in Logan is a dream to work with, I was in and out in no time with exactly what I needed. I'll make sure I'm dealing with an actual Verizon store from now on. That was most of a day that I'll never get back. read more
