Jevon "JV" was attentive and great with my 8 year old while I was able to focus and make decisions based on their recommendations. Employees whose names I didn't even catch came by to help too to make sure my daughter was cared for. I've been with Verizon for many years. I've had good and bad experiences. I bought a new phone from Amazon and had trouble getting everything set up. I HATE HATE HATE going to the Verizon store, I hate even more having to call. The store I've been going to for 15 years is convenient to my house so I make the trek a coupe times a year for some issue or another. On this night, I came straight from work, 10 minutes to spare before closing. I had a short wait...I wish I could remember the gentleman's name who helped me. He was AWESOME!! He spoke Spanish and seemed to have a slight limp. I'm saying this in hopes that he might see this review. I couldn't remember my PIN to verify and somehow he made it work. About three weeks ago, a very nice and professional salesperson, Byron, assisted me with the purchase of a brand new 13 Pro iPhone. For some reason, he did not offer to put the screen protector I had just purchased at the same time on my new phone. I bought four accessories which included the screen protector when I bought the phone... Today I went to the same store for only assistance with the screen protector specifically. I believe Tyler is the name of the person that checked me in, but it was only because I had to go up to him and asked to be checked in, as no one acknowledged my presence in the store after a few minutes being there. Tyler asked what assistance I needed and I told him specifically (showing him the screen protector in my hand) that it was the only reason why I was there. For whatever reason, he put simply "device help" or something similar (advised by the great salesperson that assisted me today...see more information later) instead of what I specifically told him. He also stated it would be about 30 minutes for someone to be able to help me. I know that it's first come first serve and just wanted a general timeline of how long I had to wait. I received a text that stated five people were in front of me so I was a little surprised to hear that it would only take 30 minutes. I patiently waited in the truck with my husband. After maybe 45 minutes I went back inside as I did not receive any updated text and a lady told me there were two people still in front of me. I sat down patiently waiting and noticed the manager, I believe his name is Jonathan, stayed in the back after he finished assisting another customer. Maybe he was taking a scheduled break or lunch? All I know is when I inquired of assistance after almost an hour waiting, he still did not come out and therefore a while later a nice salesperson (I wish I remembered his name but I know he has a older African-American army vet) and finally assisted me and he was wonderful! He told me had he known I was there simply for the screen protector, he could have fit me in while he was working with a customer before me during their "waiting time". So therefore I did not have to wait an hour for something that would only take five minutes!Therefore I went back to Tyler and gave him that feedback to help me and any other Verizon customer in the future. No apology from Tyler. Jonathan (mgr) finally came out from the back and overheard my conversation with Tyler and said nothing...no acknowledgement nor apology! In fact he kinda made a face?? I found out later he is SUPPOSED to be the MOD?!? WOW So are Corporate Verizon salespeople not supposed to offer to put a screen protector purchased at the same time as an $1100 phone, even if it's for a decades-long loyal wireless (and home/internet) customer that paid SO much money there instead of going to a non-Corporate Verizon store? That's what Byron basically told me today... Instead get the sale and don't offer your best customer service and then make that customer wait an hour after making a special trip out of the way? Should I go to a non-Corporate store next time instead?? Oh, by the way, Jonathan, the so-called "manager", couldn't stop his inventory count 3 weeks ago to assist me! Again...WOW!! Had a great experience with the staff here today. They took time to help us understand how to use our new phone and looked at the account to make sure we were getting the best deal with our current plan. I don't always say this about a store, but everyone was friendly made sure we were being helped and greeted us on the way in and out. I have had Verizon for a long time now, and recently saw that they had added 3 gb to my phone without permission. I explained that I did not have verizon internet provider and was told did not know how this got on my phone. They made no attempt to take it off. Horrible!! I recently was moving from t-mobile to Verizon so I went into the store to handle business and cancelled my online order. Arrived at the store at 5 was seen at 6 did not leave out until 8:30pm and still didn't get help only gave me a number to call for verification. I tried telling them that the verification was pushed through for the wrong order and to give the phone rep the order I'm doing in store. They acted like they knew what they was talking about and shoved me out the door. I'm pretty sure they only did that because it was 30 minutes after closing. This motheefucking place..and their solution specialist ..are the worst..I drove all the way for 45 mins and this guy tells me..they don't have an order for me from customer service..I ported my 3 numbers from T-Mobile a week ago and one of the numbers is till not active on Verizon. I was speaking to customer service for 8hours and at the end I figured out, they send me a bad SIM card. Waited 5 days and still no new SIM card. Customer service guy tells me to go and get SIM card from this location and their solution specialist tells me, I can't help you, because we don't have order placed for you..a sim card. Luis, their solution analyst has so much attitude as if he is the motherfuckjng owner of this asshole company. Switching back to t mobile. This place and their solution specialist are worst. I would have given this Verizon store NO stars if that was an option, unfortunately it was not so here we are with one. The customer service that they provide is appalling. I recently went in with multiple old iPhones to resell to upgrade my current device as they were just sitting around our house. As soon as I entered the store the associate that I worked with was obviously uninterested in assisting. Once we got through the buy back process he was not willing to assist with backing up my current phone or helping me connect to their in store Wi-Fi. As a result I requested my balance on a gift card and informed him that I would go to another VZ store and work with an associate that was interested. After this statement he became defensive and walked away. This is NOT how you treat customers, especially customers that pay way too much for a service. I took the time to call the store manager, Paul Nelson and shared my story, unfortunately Paul was more concerned with the WiFi situation that the real issue at hand. Went into this location to buy a new phone out right. It use to be bad service; with one person at the door and maybe 3/people helping. Well it got worse! One person at the door and one person helping customers. The manager was in the back room doing whatever. You would think with the price you pay for phones and the service, you would get service. My grown son is on my account and is allowed to make changes the associate tells me he's not! Funny he is in Maryland because he has done everything from adding a new line at the store to changing service at the Laurel MD store. Ok so I realize this guy is an uninformed idiot. He tells me they don't fix phones and we need to call and place an insurance claim. Bye sir I'm going to the mall and pay less and get my screen replaced! My girlfriend was in need of a phone; her mother had just signed up with Verizon earlier that day in Florida and her phone was shut off. We wound up here. I would like it to be known that the manager, Sam, is very rude and unprofessional; not only to customers but to staff as well. He was not personable and did not care about the customer experience or generally much else. The staff on the other hand were excellent! Tiff went above and beyond what any Verizon rep is required to do and found a creative solution to the issue we were having. Also, I don't recall the floor managers name but he was awesome as well. Tiff should be promoted or at least acknowledged for her awesomeness. I know if we have any issues we will only come to this store if she is working. We sincerely appreciate what Tiff did for us. Tiff was the reason this store got 4 stars. I can't give 5 because of the lack of quality management. I will make sure and spread the word about Sam. read more

Great store and staff. Go here for all your phone needs. Especially Iphone upgrades. Just went to check if I had an upcomming upgrade and "poof" it was time. They got me into a new phone and took the old phone ( still in great shape) as a trade in worth some serious cash! What a deal.. I've always enjoyed the service when my wait time was over (which used to be excessive) at this location. My last visit changed that opinion. While the service was lively and helpful, and the original in-store experience was helpful, do NOT expect that to continue. If you want to return something - be WARNED - they will go by the contract not what they said in the store. I must say due to past experiences it's been awhile since I stepped into a Verizon store. I came in interested in reviewing my plan and understanding the new changes. I came in on September 1 and yes the first of the month was a concern to me. I was greeted immediately and after about a 10-15 minute wait a Manager checked on me and chatted.. Huh? Where am I? Then Duane came and they discussed my individual situation before the handoff.. Duane was patient with all of the questions I had and was knowledgeable about the plans and products.. Then John from sales took over and he was engaging as well..Of course I left with a new phone and a little higher bill but I have not been happier with my experience and did not leave thinking I was raked through the coals.. Before I left both asked if I was pleased with my service and a different Manager came to make sure I was fine before I left..(where am I)?? Then I get home today and a Manager Chris called and left a message to make sure things were ok.. I'm still in shock! Great job Verizon.. I have never been treated with so much disrespect before. I switched to Verizon a month ago and they had the switch program to help me get out of my old contract. After going around the bush for 2 weeks cause their system was down I went in there today and got help from this young blonde girl (I can't remember her name). I explained my situation to her and all I got was eye rolling. After I explained that I picked up a switch paper from this exact store 2 weeks she told me I would get a $10 credit added to my bill for 24 months. So that is 2 years my phone bill with my old carrier would be late. I explained to her the switch paper I got from them did not say anything about a credit on it. She then begin to raise her voice in a room filled with customers and walking to get her manager. The way they talked to me made me feel like I was stupid when they are misleading customers. After everything was said I decided to keep my old phone and sell it for myself and they told me to make sure I come back and sell it to the new owner at THEIR store. Yeah right.
