Let me start by saying the staff is friendly and the phones not bad. But.... I did the switch over back in mid January and was told I would get a visa gift card within about 4 weeks and could be as much as 8 at the most. And I let the representative know before I signed up my concern about being in a contract with tmobile and it effecting my credit and I was told that the gift card should be in effect before that happens (so it would be paid). About 6 weeks after switching i was concerned about not seeing a gift card on the app or an email and I was told to wait another 2 weeks if I don't get it come back. My credit was starting to decrease shortly after and today March 19th I went back and after messing around with the app some, checking emails and then calling customer service from the store we got an answer!!!! It was somewhere in the app, that the representative over the phone told us to do (me and store member). So this was all preventable! If the staff member 2-3 weeks ago would have done that same thing my gift card would have been here, or at the very least almost here. Now I have wait another 4-8 weeks for the card that pays off tmobile, that i should have gotten weeks ago and it wouldn't have effected my credit. They need to do better as a team. I am beyond annoyed and it's effecting my credit now so that's a HUGE issue for me when I explained this from day one that that's all that mattered to me. This is not okay and I hope someone will reach out and make this right! read more

I entered the store and was greeted by both employees. Te-Von just finished with another customer and immediately asked how he could help me. He was personable and professional during my time in the store. Even behind his face mask it was obvious he was smiling. I was very impressed with his ability to be fully present with me, provide guidance to the other employee, and greet customers as they arrived. It's not often one encounters an individual who radiates positivity and I very much appreciate Te-Von for giving me the opportunity to do so. read more

I was traveling to Richmond alone for a conference where I lost my phone. Since I was due for a new one anyway, I decided to try to just buy a new one. I entered this store about 30 minutes before posted closing time, and Diego was kind enough to stay beyond closing time to assist me in getting my new phone set up. I was so grateful, as I had an unfamiliar 6-hour drive to make the next day. He was extremely helpful through the process. Thank you! read more

I couldn't believe how horrible this place was. I thought it must be a joke. So I get to the place at 4:45pm. I think I'm going in to get an upgrade for my phone. I then notice a very unprofessional looking sign on the door. "At lunch, will reopen at 5". I have several problems with this. First off, where is the coverage of the store? You can't just close down an entire store because you want to take a break. I've been there, and you don't leave your duty as an employee like that. I had to wait 15 minutes because of this poor decision. Second: it was 5pm... The store closed at 6 that day. Why even take a break that late? If its only open one more hour, just wait it out. This wasn't even the worst problem I had with this location. I was just going to grin and let it go. I mean, he's hungry, I understand that. He's still probably a good guy. Then I go in and quickly learn that was wrong to assume. He looks at me like a deer in the headlights; I'm about to ruin his evening by walking in there to give my money. I initiate the conversation, letting him know I want to upgrade. He coldly responds, "what phone do you want?". Well, that's kind of why I went to the store... To look at phones... Anyways, it just so happens I did have one in mind. I try to pull it up on my current phone, and while I do this, he starts asking me for questions about my account number etc so he can pull up our information. I didn't have it, so I told him I'd try to find out. At this point, I'm disgusted by the experience, so I am just pretending to look it up. I then tell him I can't find it so I can leave. I told him I would take care of it another day. He doesn't say a word as I walk out the store.. He let's a paying Verizon customer just walk out the store without so much of a have a nice day. I then proceeded to Best Buy. Now I have a new phone. read more
