Verizon is the worst company I have ever dealt with (aside from Sprint). They have once again managed to screw me.

Worst customer service EVER!!! Waited over a month to have a line put in and buried, this after…read moresending several techs out (or not). First one turned in ticket saying work was done when it wasn't, second tech (3 1/2 weeks later) buried the old line, finally after 5 1/2 weeks got new line buried, now waiting for yet another tech to come out and hook it up. Would NEVER recommend AT&T Uverse to anyone!!!!! I wouldn't have it except my husband doesn't want the hassle of changing companies. lol

Their Customer Service, SUCKS. We started asking prices on combo directv and internet, at $65,…read morethen got call to further process internet and told that it was $80 a month combo, so i cancelled tv and kept internet. Well, had to call 5 or 6 different numbers given to me by different at&t reps to finally cancel the directv. I further processed the internet and they said they would send a modem. So the modem arrived and i set it up per instructions that came with it, modem didnt work. So i called tech support to help with modem, still didnt work. So they set up a technican to come out two days later, and the tech never showed up so i called them again, and talked to a rep about the tech not showing up, so she gave me yet another phone number which turned out to be att employee hot line for field techs and salespeople that can only be navigated by att employees with their own att pin numbers, so i called att yet again to talk to someone who is "sending a tech tomorrow". Im not confident the tech will show based on my awful experience. I just need their internet to stream since everyone says it is great for streaming. But their customer service is a train wreck. There is absolutely no structure to their cus tomer service, and im afraid if my internet goes down, ill be fighting a bunch of clueless morons trying to get it going again. I havent experienced the internet service yet, but im praying its not any where near as bad as customer service.

Terminated my contract after they raised my rates. I returned the modem they shipped via Fedex…read more They "lost" the package internally and when I called them with the tracking info they couldn't verify it via the FedEx site. After I asked to speak to a supervisor, Amber was magically able to find the tracking number. Apparently the FedEx website was "down" when she initially looked the tracking number up. Now I am waiting for my $165.97 refund while they "search internally" for the modem.

Can't live without internet. Television, maybe. But not internet…read more It appears as though Charter's primary goal is to steal away customers from AT&T. It's an ongoing battle where the winner will have the best price (lowest price) and greatest service (fastest broadband speed as well as highest number of channels). If you are considering one or the other, look into prices for both and use the price of the competing company as leverage. On numerous accounts, people have brought the package deal from one competing company to the other only to have it matched or beaten. Eventually one will stay firm but not before you're pleased of what you're receiving for the price you're paying. Beware though. There are many hidden costs to both. For example, after negotiating our TV and internet bill down to $30/month, my buddy and I were surprised to find out that Charter had failed to mention the $30 fee for transporting and setting up the wireless router (something I could have done in 5 minutes). Also, many of the packaged deals require you to sign contracts for several months. If you're only there for 3 or 4 months at a time, ask for pay-for-service contracts. Charter's internet service wasn't too bad. There were 3 people (computers and smart phones each) logged onto our server at all times and never once did I feel as if our internet lagged. I believe we purchased to 2 mb/s broadband speed package. The TV channels are a different story. Charter may boast that you're getting 40 channels. However, 10 of them are advertising channels (full-screen nonanimated advertisements/billboards 24/7), 10 of them don't work, and many are replicated. For example, Fox sports net was on channels 6, 13, and 27.1. Don't be fooled by the numbers. Ask for exactly which channels you'll be getting (networks, not numbers) and research ahead of time. Recommendation: If you need internet to get through your day, BUY! If not, try to bargain with neighbors ($5/month to jump onto their wireless router, etc.) or get by with your smart phone.

My husband had until tomorrow,August 4,2026 to pick up his copy of Halo and his order was canceled for no reason! My husband explained to the staff person that he just got home from the hospital and he was picking up his copy of Halo. The staff person was extremely rude and snarky and said to my husband,"Well,I don't know what to tell you its the computer's fault not mine!" Instead of offering to go and get the game for my husband, the staff person refused to help him by getting a copy of Halo off of the shelf! The staff person just stood there and said in a snarky tone,"Have a nice day!" Really? It would have taken all of two seconds to go and grab the game off of the shelf, and help the customer. Especially when the game was already prepaid and there was a copy of it right on the shelf! Needless to say,we won't be going back to Best Buy because their customer service sucks and so does their attitudes!
