Worst experience ever. I have been going to the Rim location for years and never had an issue. I came in with the malfunction internet modem plus extender modem in a big bag. I was greeted with manager Roberto, I asked if we can go to the big table so I can have everything out but nope went to small table where there is no room. I brought my laptop so I can see the account better. My bag fell including my laptop, iPad as I need to update plus my things. The manager just stood there didn't even help. I asked for help with bundles and he said I can't help you with those. I was like I'm deaf and it's hard to communicate with others in another country try to adjust the bundles because few of them were gone and I'm paying only one for 27 a month and the extra fees that I don't use. I grabbed my stuff and left. He didn't even help me, not even understanding and no compassion. I'm going to try other location because it's frustrating with a third party talking on a phone with someone in another country. My internet barely work and the extender wifi doesn't connect with the internet modem anymore. I need help! Please avoid this Rim location at all costs! read more

Nate Adame, a(n) Verizon specialist at the rim location was extremely professional, effective & productive. Nate answered all of my questions & helped me navigate through my entire account. He went over my plan (options) allthewhile setting the expectations. We had a very productive conversation. He not only helped me but he helped my son, Dalon as well. I have never experienced such optimal experience by anyone, ever, at any cell phone store. I'm very grateful for Mr. Adame & look forward to stopping by soon to say hello! I went into the Verizon store with my boyfriend to purchase a hands-free device. He is on a prepaid plan so the girl said he had to open a separate account and pay $10 a month to get the "hands-free" device. Since I've never dealt with a prepaid account, I didn't know this was untrue. In reality, she sold him a hum device and along with his prepaid plan they deducted money from his bank account each month. We both went back in a month later when the hands-free speaker did not work. Actually the hands-free speaker worked just fine but the extra box that she made us purchase was preventing the speaker from working. She told us we waited too late so we had to buy another one that was more expensive. We did and still could not get anything to work. We went back the third time and she told us we had to send the "hum" device back to the manufacturer and they would send us a new one. Once the "hum" device was removed, the hands free speaker worked fine, however, the nightmare was not over. We could never get Verizon to stop billing the $10 a month, we could never get anyone to tell us what the phone number was so we could talk to the appropriate people. We finally closed the checking account to stop the nightmare and they turned us over to a collection agency for $39.34. We just want them to stop even though we are owed hundreds of dollars and the Hum was never installed. read more

Worst experience at a Verizon I have had. 2 people working, no one greeted. The GM showed up after a while to check me in but not help me. I told him I knew exactly what I wanted to do but he said I needed to wait for one of the two guys. He then just stood there on Instagram while the lobby filled up and people began to leave. I had come to mistrust them all. We stopped in at La Cantera to ask a couple of questions. Crystal and Craig gave us unsurpassed customer service. I have been with Verizon for years, and there's ups and downs. But as far as store service, this has been the worst location. I had to go buy a new phone a few months back and they weren't helpful whatsoever. I had preordered the phone online and it took them forever we to find it. They also recommended this Tech21 case for the iPhone and it is the WORST case ever. I haven't even dropped my phone yet the case is stretching on the bottom and becoming oddly uneven. So there's no way I have drop protection. What a waste of money. They also misinformed me about the plan, so I am paying tons of fees that I wasn't expecting and differ from my previous plan. Thank God there's a hotline because these workers don't know squat. read more

Basically they said their wifi was not working & also mislead by saying the trade in value was inly 300$ & not 560 mentioned on the website, They also said we can take our phone to make sure we don't loose any data. But was not happy with the service & or mis leading on no wifi for restore back up on the phone. If that was a old person they would have to do alot more work then normal. Highly, Highly recommend this Verizon store! We spent over 2 enjoyable hours in this store upgrading our phones, switching over our account (with more than 5 devices) to a business account, and purchasing additional devices we didn't even know existed! Hillary was our sales representative and she went above and beyond with her customer service! She is extremely knowledgeable and very efficient - we had zero glitches with transferring old phone info to the new phone! She also made sure that we received every discount& promotional offer that was available to us and explained everything thoroughly! We have been to multiple Verizon store fronts only to regret walking through the door and later learning that NOT all "Verizon-labeled" stores are knowledgeable Verizon dealers. Not sure if you can give zero stars here or not. My only advice if you are shopping here is to beware. Tristan, an assistant manager, has a hard time telling the truth. I bought my phone there and the promotion that I kept seeing he said was not starting for two more days. He said I could just go into a Corp store when I made it back home and they would take care of it. Not the case, the store where I live said they can't help me because it's an online promotion. I called his cell phone number and no answer, then text him I needed him to call me back. Still haven't heard from him. While I was getting my phone programmed, I asked a very simple question, "is this phone waterproof?". Without hesitation his response was "yes it's good up to 15 feet (for some amount of time)". Go figure that was an all out lie. Thirty days later, I was in Cuba and my first morning there I go to test the water so only dip the lens into the water and my phone was instantly fried. Well I am in a foreign country that isn't exactly best friends with America so that made things even worse. Now I have no phone and no camera. I have my girlfriend call and talk to a manager Crystal and she offers to pay half of the insurance deductible. I was not happy with response as Tristan was fully responsible for what happened and no one else. I then started emailing Jason Watts. He also backs Crystals offer to pay half the deductible. My problem with this is that while Tristan and Jason both profit from my experience, this somehow costs me $75 out of my pocket and implies that I am somewhat responsible. This is all on Tristan and why he is considered management is beyond me. Please do yourself a favor and seek assistant at any other Verizon store but this one so you don't go through the headaches I went through dealing with liars and very unprofessional employees. I started my account with Verizon (gte) in August of 1996 so you would think they would appreciate my loyalty over a compulsive liar but I guess not so please beware. And if you happen to read this Jason or Tristan, don't worry customer service bailed you guys out again and gave a full credit to my deductible and I guess who cares that I didn't have a camera ....I hope this review makes it to upper management and both of your are demoted for not understanding what the word accountability means. I've been coming to this store for the last 7 years and this year I decided to buy online and pick up from store to save time and hassle of dealing with salesman in the store. I called the store to see what color of phone is in stock, the online agent didn't see the color available in the store. Figured I could just ask for it when arrived in store, oh boy I was wrong they wanted to charge me a 28.00 exchange fee before I was handed any product just to pick a different color phone. Well who knew customer service would be sooo different when you buy online vs in the store. Since I went with the online service the store agent was quick to send me on my way without explaination, we upgraded three phones and needed help get new phones activated, transfer content but instead I was meet with condescension and then got schooled as if I should know everything about each phone and it's activation. When I asked for assistance the agent actually we'll we don't do that for online orders! Very disappointed! Well I will never go back to this store again! read more
